Received via U.S. Mail an unsolicited "renewal".
We were never a customer.
Told them to drop us of their solicitation list.
We'll see if they do.

Thursday May 4th hot water heater leaking. After several calls was finally told that repair service wouldn't be there until Monday May 8th We had HomeServe for many years, and this is the first time that we had issues with receiving prompt service. I even contacted the plumbing service that they use. Was told that they were backed up with service calls and even told the person from Home Serve that this would not be acceptable. When I requested a different or local plumbing service to attend to our problem was told that this is the service that covers our area. The plumbing service is located in ***** **** ******** *** ** **** ***** ** ******* ** ****** **** which is approximately an hour drive. Needless to say, we contacted our local plumber (on ****** ***) they came out on Friday, replaced the hot water heater within an hour. I contacted HomeServe again to see if there was any way that we could at least receive some of the cost of the new hot water heater. The answer was NO. That because we had not waited until Monday for the service that they would not reimburse us for any of the cost. I explained the them that it seemed not only unnecessary, but downright crazy to be without hot water for more than 3 days. I proceeded to cancel by warranty. Also sent a letter twice to corporate. But have still receive no response. I wonder if these people would go without hot water for over 3 days.HomeServe USA Corp.

I called to report issues with my refrigerator and was advised that my plan does not cover the refrigerator. I asked what my plan covers and was told the water heater, interior electrical, exterior electrical, and waterline protection. I ask does this include the breaker box and it does but only if I'm the only one having a problem like a power outage. I spoke with Cornesha and was told no one comes out to just check your breaker box. I asked for a copy of my plans coverage and was transferred to Izzy who said my coverage was canceled in December 2020, but he can't see why, but my covage is active. I told him that they take money out of my account each month and I get emails from them so what was canceled? He put me on hold twice came back told me he was transferring me repair management when it was a survey instead. I am very upset with this service. This was my first time contacting them since I took out this service plan that I've had for a few years, and to be treated like this. I am requesting a full refund of all monies paid to them as they are a scam. You can never use their services and clearly there is no repair management. Absolutely Horrible Service. I am not impress. Now I have to call an electrician to come out and a repair man. I will be calling the main office to report this and to verify if my civerrage is canceled. I will fiind a more reputable service. I gave a 2 on the survey out of 5 as I believed I would be connected to repairs afterward but the call ended so no stars for this review. I had to leave star in order to post my review.HomeServe USA Corp.

We can not get through to these people! We want service which we've been paying for! No help via phone. The app requested changing the password which I did then they reply back with "this account is associated with another email address"!!!! What? I've been getting info all along to that very email address! They locked us out previously! I suspect a scam!HomeServe USA Corp.

So grateful to have this sense of security when things go wrong. I was very pleased from beginning to end. Appt was scheduled, the technician arrived on time. He was very pleasant and explanatory, and I was tremendously relieved when he has the thermostat on the truck ready to install. Great job one and all.HomeServe USA Corp.
