Very displeased, first UGI only had technician check my AC unit, but my plan is for AC, furnace and hot water heater, technician said I have to take this issue up with UGI, then he told me the coil needs to be cleaned @ a price of $196.00, which after I paid, I realized I could have done the job myself for a lot cheaper ($196.00, what a RIPOFF) After speaking with UGI on the phone they could not reschedule an appointment until late July, needless to say I canceled my service contract with them and home serve.HomeServe USA Corp.

I had an electrical issue and wasn't sure if it would be covered. I was surprised when, in fact, they did cover it. They paid the entire amount of the service repair. They were easy to contact, very professional service, and everything went smoothly. No complaints.HomeServe USA Corp.

Dealing with HomeServe was a great experience. It was easy and quick. Plus, my big thing is communication and knew what was going on each step because HomeServe kept me informed! Also they had a company out here quick to do the work and they were great and cleaned up afterwards. Thank you HomeServe for such a good experience when I needed so much help!HomeServe USA Corp.

Just had to make a phone call and they assigned the contractor which contacted me to set up the appointment time, the technicians arrived and fixed the problem and were very professional and friendly the overall experience was as advertised very refreshingHomeServe USA Corp.

I had an issue with my furnace. I have a contract with HomeServe. They sent out a technician who said it was my ****** thermostat that was causing the issue. I called ecobee and they had me do a "hardwire" restart of my furnace and it wouldn't ignite. So Home Serve sent out a second technician from a different company. They told me they needed to order two parts and they would call me when the parts came in. After a week, I called that company and was told that Home Serve told them NOT to order the parts because they were too expensive. So, still without heat, I called Home Serve again and they sent out a THIRD technician who diagnosed ANOTHER issue with my thermostat and said he would order a part and come out and put it in. After not hearing from him, I researched his company and EVERYONE gave him an "F" rating. I called HomeServe again and requested someone different (this is the FOURTH technician). They sent out the SAME guy again! I am now firmly convinced that HomeServe only hires the least expensive, and perhaps the least competent companies. I will not be renewing my contract with them. It would just be easier to have my furnace fixed the first time!HomeServe USA Corp.

I enrolled with Home Serve for Exterior Water Line 1/31/22, Plumbing and Drainage 8/11/22, Water Heater Repair and ******** ******** **** 1/31/23. I have used the service for plumbing. I called 2/20/23 and they came and unclogged my drain outside my house on 2/22/23 in 30 minutes. I called again on 4/5/23 because my kitchen and dining room light wasn't working. They sent a Technichian from ******* **** the very next day 4/6/23. Tony determined that due to corrosion in the circuit breaker it needed to be replaced. He submitted a claim that was approved and Tony came and replaced my Circuit Breaker in 4.5 hours on 4/18/23. Home Serve is a great company to work with and I have already recommended them to several people in my family. They deserve 5 Stars!HomeServe USA Corp.

* ****** I have a service contract for my waterline pipe by Home Serve for years, I notice a increase in my water bill and call them with my concern of a leak in the waterline. The person I talk to look up my contact information, he told that a plumbing company will be in contact with me , text me plumber’s company name and phone number, but told me this company would call me to set up appointment day and time to come to my house, got a call soon after talking with HomeServe, from the plumbing company, appointment was made, person came out within 2 days , he did a thorough check inside and out for a leakage, but couldn’t find exactly where the leak was, but did tell me there was a leak when he check water meter. He told me his boss will have to come out with leak detection device, he did the next week, area was found and mark on the ground, another appointment was made to come out to replace waterline, next week at no charge to me.same 2 guys very professional, did not take all day, job was done in few hours, made sure my water was running well inside the house, I was very pleased with this first experience, waterline was replace on March 30, 2023, no more problems! Plumbing company email me a copy of receipt to send to my water company for some reimbursement of my water bill , I have submitted. Thanks HomeServe! I still have not received my copay receipt from work scheduled by home serve. The operator Saud her system was down. I cannot comprehend this.
The plumbing company had to come out twice… the first time they “fixed it”. The. Plumber left. The shower leaked still. I had to call to reopen the ticket. Then, Hours later the same guy came back and repaired it. Blamed it on a part that did not work. Repairs took all day.HomeServe USA Corp.

I had a Heating and Cooling plan with Homeserve. The heat pump stopped working. Technician from Homeserve diagnosed the problem as a kaput Control Board on the outside unit and recommended replacement. That's when the nightmare started. The repair department called to say (a) the part may not be available and (b) my plan was for a ducted coming system but my unit was ductless so the repair warranty would not apply.
I was able to search and find the part. Spent multiple hours bouncing between different departments: repair -> sales -> account -> retention -> repair to get HomerServer to fix the policy. They kept insisting that the incorrect policy setup was my fault! Their salesforce is poorly trained and has no clue of the technical details of appliances/system whose coverage they are selling.
In conclusion, Homesåçerve was a major disappointment and I will advise others to not get swayed by pricing alone. Beware of customer service nightmare!HomeServe USA Corp.

I'm sorry, but despite the fancy title 'Office of the President', bottom line is that your sales team incorrectly set up our policy. And, after many months of collecting premium, when it was time to walk the walk, the customer was given a runaround and also blamed for errors made by your sales team. This is an exemplary case of how NOT to run customer service!
As I said in the original complaint, I feel sorry for the Homeserve sales team because they are poorly trained and unfamiliar with the appliances for which they are selling warranties.
