      I was double billed for 13 months or my water heater plan and it took weeks to get a refund, although I had proof with the double billing on my bills. It took several calls to get them to agree to the right amount ($129). they kept insisting that 13 months X $9.99 was $87.00. That was two months ago. I recently cancelled 3 plans with them, including Interior Electric. The other two were cancelled, but this month I was billed for the Interior Electric. When I called, billing confirmed that it had been cancelled and put in a request for a refund that will take up to 3 WEEKS to receive. Based on my last experience I am not holding my breath to receive my refund. I'll bet it shows up on my next ******** Energy bill again!

      This company is horrible. On the coldest day of the year, the morning of December 24th I woke up freezing. Temperature was registering 56 degrees in the house and it was 7 degrees outside. Needless to say system was not working. We had purchased a new system from Homeserve along with the contract less then 3 years ago. I called first thing and was on hold for one hour and forty minutes until someone answered. The cs rep told me that she marked this as urgent and she let dispatch know, and a technician will call when on the way. I was so relieved! 6 very cold hours later no call! I called again waited 20 minutes the cs rep confirmed my information and then told me she had to transfer me??? She put me back on hold again for another 30 minutes!!!! Another cs rep that answered confirmed my info then disconnected me, although had my phone number but never called back. I called again, on hold for a about 40 minutes and that cs rep told me that someone would be here in 2 days! This is how they handle their "emergency situations marked urgent". This company is a disgrace, they are rude and don't live up to the contract! STAY AWAY!!!! This is not the first bad experience I had with them but I gave them another chance, and now I will obviously be looking for another company for a service contract that actually does what they are supposed to do, and not treat you like dirt!!! I would give negative stars if I could!

      The problem was discovered and homeserve called and said it was covered to fix but 10 minutes later it wasn’t covered because of an exclusion. My Declarations of Benefits does not list this problem as an exclusion!!

      Had been paying two plans. Then when needed help with an actual problem it took weeks to get home serves contracted workers to show-up. Then showed-up out of the blue without contact, or appointment. Further, they never did anything. Was told what could be done by the contractor, and never came back. Never answered my calls
      Still, have outlet/switches problems. Afterwards, called home serves to have to go ahead to cancel my plan then no refund at all. *** said they noticed a problem, and would look into at least. Lastly, it's hard to believe *** is associated with this.
