      Your service has gone from very good utilizing larger more professional contractors especially in the plumbing and drain areas to poor utilizing small mom and pop plumbers who only do enough to get by and not completely repair the problem and have nothing but excuses why they are in such a hurry. I will not be renewing it.

      I had interior plumbing coverage and when I went to request service, I was never contacted by the contractor. After investigating the contractor, I discovered that they didn't service my area AND has many bad reviews. I reached back out to Homeserve and they said they would find another provider but never returned my call. I was without water to my home and had to end up getting it fixed on my own. When I called five days later back to Homeserve they gave me no restitution and no indication that they would take action to prevent this from happening in the future. I recommend that you DO NOT purchase the Homeserve coverage plans for Plumbing.

      I have been a Home Serve customer for many years, and have ALWAYS had satisfaction with their service??
      I obtained my coverage through my local utility company here in ***** *********  I have needed to use their services twice, and was pleased with the contractors they set up to effect my home problems/repairs.
      I HIGHLY recommend Home Serve, and believe you will be able to as well...

      Received a letter with ******** ****** letterhead. It stated that dominion energy will cover water line replacement which makes no sense, since they are a power company. Reading further, I realized that this was a third party pretending to be Dominion Energy. Even better, down below they state that homeserve is a subsidy of ******** ******.
      This is a social engineering tactic that is not proper business practice for a reputable company.
      Even their website waterrepairsva.com sends to homeserve website showing it as a dominion energy company.
      I do not recommend companies that pretend to be another.

      I signed up for heater & preventative maintenance on just the heater, called to cancel my service to find out I was getting charged for my hot water heater for 6 years that I NEVER signed up for. For the first couple of years a technician would come to my house to inspect the heater, I've had the service for 10 years, what a waste of money.

      This company has the WORST customer service I have ever seen. In fact, any positive reviews on here are fake, I'd be willing to bet. It has been a WEEK now of them saying they were coming today and all I get is a generic text saying I'm in the que...no word from a technician...nothing...I won't be renewing my services with them and advise anyone wondering if they should cancel, the answer is YES. I'd go so far as to call this company a SCAM

      had them for years then actually called for service.... it was sept 2022 the next available time they had was december 27th 2022
      i have this on audio as i could not believe it i even repeated .... i need help with my heat as it is cold.... and you want to come the end of winter???
      that is the soonest we can
      i cancelled immediately and warn everyone to do the same

      I have a PREMIUM Insurance Policy with Home Serve. Today my relief valve on my hot water tank is failing. This hot water tank services the home's hot water needs and heating for the house. I called Home Serve and I was on hold for 45 minutes before I was able to speak to an agent. Since this is leaking water pretty good when the valve releases I want it fixed quickly. The earliest appointment for an EMERGENCY call is two days away. I requested that they contract with a 24 hour emergency plumber and they said they cannot do that. So I have to pay for an emergency plumber while this is supposed to be covered by Home Serve. This experience has told me 1. They didn't care about me holding on the phone for 45 minutes. This leads me to the obvious conclusion that they don't care about the customer experience. 2. They do not staff their business appropriately and have no problem pushing extra bills to their customers because they refuse to staff appropriately. So, basically my PREMIUM heat plan is essentially useless unless I need to schedule something out in the future. This organization has no problem telling me that it is fine for my basement to flood for two days because they don't want to have extra emergency plumbers on staff. I feel that this insurance was very misleading and they definitely over promised and under deliver. D-

      I reported the incident on Monday October 3rd. You had a technician come out on Wednesday October 5th and the technician spent no longer than 10 minutes at the property and I was told that a part as needed to be ordered and it should be in within 24-48 hours. On Tuesday October 11th I called to inquire as to the progress on scheduling the final repair. I did NOT receive a call back. I had to call again on Wednesday October 12th to once again escalate the ticket. I received. a call back and I was told that I would get an update no later than noon. Once again you failed to meet your commitments and I needed to once again call to see what was going on. I was told that you still did not know where the part was located. Finally on the afternoon on Wednesday I received an email that the technician would be available to fix the issue on Friday October 14th between noon and 4 Pm. I also received a call from a local HomeServe representative at *** ********. The representative left a voicemail. When I went to return the call (I tried three times) I kept receiving a message that the phone is not in service. I should not have to manage HomeServe or keep calling and pushing to get a repair that is covered by my PREMIUM coverage. HomeServe has provided poor service, phone numbers that are out of service, did not follow through to know where the ordered part was located, nor kept me informed as to the status of the repair. I should not have to spend time in my day managing HomeServe. I was ignored when I escalated the ticket on Tuesday. Clearly HomeServe did not care enough about me to call me back when I tried to escalate the issue and even as far as Thursday at noon had no idea as to the status of the part and the repair. So after a week when the technician ordered the part you had NO idea as to the status of the ticket and this seems to be acceptable to your organization! This in no way was Premium coverage and it is unacceptable that I should have to manage this process. That is YOUR job. I am fully confident that if I did not continue to escalate this issue I would still be waiting to have this repaired. HomeServe has failed to provide any level of customer service and you deserve to be reported for your failure to provide services that I have paid for in advance.
