      I have been a customer of HomeServe for 5 years or more. In June my AC stopped working. I called and they sent out a contractor that had bad reviews. He told me I needed a new air condenser unit which home serve would not cover. Estimate was over $4300. After talking to a friend they suggested another company praising their work. I called them, he came out after hours and told I had a burnt wire to my blower motor which should be replaced. He came back two days later and it was fixed for $617. Blower motors are covered but since I didn't use their contractors they would not cover it. They emailed me and called me after my review of the first HVAC company. Wanted a copy of the invoice. Got back to me and said they would reimburse me $320, what they would have paid. I accepted their offer. This was on June 20th and I would get the check within 30 days. The check never came. I emailed twice and called twice and left voicemail s. No response and no call backs. I have lost trust that this company is honest, and will probably cancel. Lost a good customer. ??

      my electric went out on Saturday morning I called the Home sever, I purchase through by ****** ******** ******** I was told someone would be there shortly. Two hours later I call back and was told he will call you soon, we call every electric company that was on the list ************ ******** gave us, not one answers the phone, a little more than two hours later I called again, I was told he is on a job he will call you when he finishes, he never came, never called we didn’t hear anything from anyone, I had stop believing in them after that last call, our electric has been off now around seven or more hours, temperature in the upper 90's we are in the dark trying not to open the refrigerator, I call an electric company that was not on the list, All I got from Home sever is lip service and nothing more, now they tell me I can’t get a refund for the work, l because I didn’t follow the service agreement, they never came through for us

      This company has terrible customer service. I have been calling from July 7, 2022 to resolve my issue. I can’t get any answers from customer service representatives. I have asked to speak to a Supervisor and told a supervisor will call me back in 24-48 hours. I have never received a call back from a supervisor or anyone else from Homeserve.

      If I could give zero stars I would. I have been having issues since Memorial Day weekend. My sewage line was backed up and a contractor was sent to my house and they left causing damage to my main drainage system because they admitted they were not experienced enough for the job. HomeServe has yet to send anyone out to fix my problem or repair my main drain, we had to call **** ***** and pay out of pocket after 7 days without water. I was told in 6/23/22 I would be receiving a reimbursement check for $1050 and the check was never sent. I have emails and phone calls for the past 30 days saying that a contractor will call me in 24-48 hours to repair my main drainage system and no one has called. I am fully starting to believe this company is a scam. I would never recommend this company.

      Beware of the water line package you buy. The basic one doesn’t include Debis removal and doesn’t repair what they damaged in the process of fixing the water line. I called, after that I messaged through their website to confirm. My waterline starts under the city sidewalk. I was told that they would leave it in a “safe” state. When I asked they said this could simply mean leaving cones to warn pedestrians, leaving me with the bill to find a company to repair the cement sidewalk. I then asked about debris, if this meant that they could leave a mountain of debris on my lawn for me to remove. They said yes. So I would need to hire a company to repair my lawn and another to remove debris. When I told them this could potentially leave me with thousands to pay out of pocket, they told me to consider their bigger packages. What a ripoff.

      Recently, after having a number of issues in need of simple repair in my home. Also, since being a widow and no longer privileged with having the help from my spouse to fix things, in my home, I was fortunate to have purchased several Home Serve protection packages. This was a life saver for me.
      While taking to the BBB to write this review I noticed there were many bad reviews for HomeServe. Fortunately, I am not a victim of mistreat, like some others. My review is totally different. I am grateful for the patience, cooperative and dedicated staff currently serving me at HomeServe USA.
      It is not my intent to criticize the company, nor do I intend to favor the company. After reviewing the poor reviews, if there were some issues in the past, they did continue to present such issues when I was in contact with HomeServe. This could very well mean that their administration worked very efficiently to correct the representation of those employees who caused the negative issues. Going forward, hopefully their goodwill efforts will continue for the community.
      Again, I am grateful for the services rendered in my great city and particularly with HomeServe USA, hoping they will continue their great work for the ******** ********* area in which I call home and have been residing over 70 years.

      First, I was frustrated by the fact that the technician called me an hour before the window of my service to tell me he was 15 minutes away and I was no where near the house. I mentioned this to him and he asked me at what time I would be there and I told him at 12pm, which was the beginning of the service window (12pm-4pm). At 12pm, he was nowhere to be found. At 12:32pm, he called to tell me he was 15 minutes away. When he got there closer to 1pm, I showed him the outlets that had issues and he stated I could only change 4 and I had to choose which ones. I did that and he started working. It took no time for him to finish and he asked for me to meet him outside to sign the paperwork. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have gone behind him to check his work. Everywhere he replaced an outlet he left a pile of mess: wrappers, dust, old screws, old outlets, old outlet plates. I was really disappointed that he didn't have the decency to clean up after himself or tell me that he was leaving a mess behind.
