I had a personal trainer for a 2 month minimum for the edge fitness in Fairfield, Ct. I gave my 30 day notice as per clubs policy. My last payment was made on May 5th of 2022 in the amount of $363. However, I updated my primary account to just one debit card oppose to two in August. The day after me updating my account, I find attempted charges of $363. I immediately call the gym, minus the fact that I have been calling them practically every day because I was having other problems with them. The person I spoke to told me everything was fine and that my payments were up to date, so I let it go and believed him. After that call, I’ve been getting charged every single day. I’ve called them back and they have told me they will give a call back in 30 minutes, after me already being on hold and switched off by multiple people. I’ve never received a call back. I waited a day and I emailed the fitness trainer manager Zach. This is the same person that I’ve sent proof of payment to, and proof of me being continuously charged every single day. He has been no help to me. No one at that gym has been any help, and they’re trying to make me pay for a payment that I already paid for. It’s ridiculous. I will never go to the edge again, at least not with that particular club. They are horrible when it comes to customer service. I just need my issue resolved because im tired of being continuously charged everyday for a service I already paid and cancelled.

This Gym has been making me jump through hoops for about a month now. I have really bad mental health and other health issues and the gym just isn’t going to work for me. So I emailed to cancel my membership. I got denied and the stated I needed a doctors note. A DOCTORS NOTE????? Whatever I go and get a doctors note. They denied me again. Wtf?? They state that the note needs to say that I can’t work out for 6 months or longer. I call my doctors office and have them write that up. I send it to their email again. Once again denied. It’s a doctors note via email. It’s not signed. Edge states it needs to be signed. I email them back telling them I can not go to the gym due to medical conditions and they just keep sending the same automated email telling me they denied my cancellation. Now today (15Aug22) they start highlighting the requirements. And I’m telling them to call my doctors office because it stated they’d do that to verify. I am completely over this situation. Do not go to this gym.

The edge fitness is not being fair with female customers. They provide a separate facility for women only, which is great, however they’re charging women 39.99 a month for use of this room. The area and the equipment provided is not even a quarter of the main gym itself. The womens gym area is so small and they’re expected to pay more. Corporate, I kindly ask you to look into this. Especially ******** ******** facility. Some of the machines don’t work and at times it gets crowded in there. The main gym has much more equipment plus the cinema. Something has to be done. Edge fitness your charging the womens only side way too much with a lot less room and equipment to use. Please lower your cost so we can still come and take care of ourselves.
