  My experience with Venture has been wonderful. The reviews on here sound like individual situations. When they came to my house they explained Solar better than every other company I had spoken to. I understood they were a bigger company and that they did everything in house. I have had solar on my last two houses, this time was MUCH smoother. Having everyone in house not waiting on a contractor is a big deal people trust me. Also side note: IT TAKES TIME TO GO SOLAR. I know 5+ people who have gone Solar with multiple companies and it always takes 2-4 months. Venture did a great job at keeping me up to date and their team was pleasant to work with. I have referred them to two other peoples and they even kept their promise of a referral bonus. Great company for going solar.

  They need to stop harassing. For 3 weeks they have been wasting my time and theirs. They are so desperate and have zero courtesy and professionalism at all. I showed them the proposals from 2 other very reputable solar companies with A+ rating on BBB and very well known players in the business and venture's proposal was *****k in price difference. Their genius incompetent sales person convinced me to let them come into my house second time only to give me exact the same proposal which the genius gave in the first meeting after spending 1.5 hours twice at my home. They have been calling harassing every day for 2 weeks now even when I repeatedly told them I'm not interested in your proposal whatsoever. Yet they even tried to convince me to let them present proposal 3rd. These are guys are very unprofessional and extremely desperate to sell you c*** Bottom line is they are scammers. No wonder their rating on BBB is what it is. I consider myself very very very fortunate that I didn't go with them for full cash purchase of solar system

  I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Decent pay if you have solar experience and know how to work your **** off. Other than that they do not care about installers safety they make ** work in horrible weather conditions and if you complain you might get written up. Venture is definitely a toxic work environment everyone is always gossiping and the managers only care about the profits you bring them not you. And If a company doesn't care about their employees wellbeing that says alot. Everyone work there butts off but they will never acknowledge that. All they care is that you come in do the job if your someone they don't like and you try to call off they will have no porblem to write you up. They have no empthay for anyone and they are very much sneaky with their actions. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work here it will definitely drive you crazy for how much stress they put on one person

  Solar contract signed on 10/5/21 with ******* Energy Corp who hired Venture Solar to do the install. Permit application submitted by Venture Solar, failed twice, and they attempted to blame the delay on the Town of Brookhaven. Install finally started in May 2022. Third party inspector hired by Venture Solar, passed the inspection even though the inspection never entered the garage to inspect the batteries and electrical panel. Batteries failed and started arching several weeks after installation. It took the Venture Solar technician several days to arrive and only after sending them a video of the batteries arching. The "repairs" he made were still not done correctly and batteries were not functioning properly for months. Pipes installed across the garage ceiling that stored the electrical wires to connect to the batteries all fell off as they weren't secured properly to the ceiling. Electrical panel installed does not meet code and found that the wiring in both the battery panel and electrical panel were never tightened to work properly. Since May 2022, have emailed, called, left messages for Venture Solar with all of these issues and requested a inspection of the solar panels on the roof with no response back. Finally emailed complaint letter to the CEO of ******* who assigned a specialist to investigate. *******'[s Field Manager was assigned and examined the electrical panel and though he "thinks" it meets code, he refuses to send his report in writing (as he stated he would do), and stated he would send a ******* technician to examine the solar panel roof installation. To date have not received the report nor has a technician come to inspect, and he and the ******* specialist are no longer responding to emails or text messages. If I could rate both companies below a one star review, I would do so.

  ******* refuses to give me the written reports by the inspectors who examined the electrical panel as well as the inspection of the panels on the roof. They also will not respond to my request to install a new panel that meets code. My only recouse is to now take this to arbitration.

  On January 23, 2023, Venture Solar sent an electrician who removed the wiring in the electrical panel that did not meet code and reinstalled the wiring so that it does meet code. Also reimbursing the $500 fee I paid an electrician to inspect it.

  It is taking these guys 5 months now to make my system operational. They lack electrical experience and failed inspection 2 times. They are never on time and their customer experience is not very good. They even made basic billing errors.
