Credits had taken $700 plus dollars from me stating that they were going to work hand-in-hand with credit collection services which was falsified they stated that they were affiliated with them I asked them to pull the call and the young lady did not respond back when I asked fora refund and I called and I asked the collection service for a refund as well they stated oh well we’ve already sent out letters so what we do and they have to delete it I said no you all were supposed to delete it from my report this was literally from the actual credit collection services I called credit collection services they don’t know who these people are so it is falsified I would like to get my back that I paid because I have to pay the real creditors what it’s owedBusiness Response

Hi yes I reject this and I’m asking for my money to be refunded back. In Totality! There has been nothing done for us as we only wanted to pay the debt owed not dispute. we did not ask for anything to be disputed or anything we wanted it to be taken care of by paying what was owed I have the pictures of what was owed the young lady lied and stated that this was supposed to be a part of credit collection services this was their outsourced department. that was incorrect and not true credit collection services have never heard of them and they still Have multiple things that are still on my credit and reflected this was supposed to be a pay off. In summary I use the last money that I had being a once a month income family to be able to pay this off so I can purchase my home and I cannot purchase my home because they took the money that was supposed to pay off my credit I would like the company to give me my 700+ dollars back from the settlements of these companies one company I settled $500 with the other company as it was $249 I settled for 170 and then there was another Company that was supposed to be able to get paid off in their full amount in totality! I will send in this proof right here if possible if they can refund me my money and cancel all of the services that they lied about I would be happy to have this resolved my funds are important for my family as we are family of six and they depend on this credit for us to purchase our home instead of paying the rental price for the home. I would like for them to send me my funds in a check I do not want them to touch my bank account anymore as I have had to pay numerous stop payment fees because of them. Credit stage is a scam and they are hurting a lot of families

I had a creditor pop up on my credit report. I googled the creditor and called the number. After being transferred a representative answered from credit sage. I thought I was paying a debt and they were removing the ding on my credit report. The amount I owed was the same amount of money they were asking for payment. They never made it clear that they were not the creditor I owed the money to. 7 months go by and I get another ding on my credit report for the same bill I thought I paid back 7 months ago. I called to get a refund because I was misled and was told I could not be helped. I asked the supervisor to go back and listen to the conversation to see I was telling the truth. He said it would not matter because the service had already been rendered. I also explained I had already disputed the charge on my credit report before even calling and just wanted a refund so I could use the money to pay the creditor which I thought had already been done. Needless to say I was mislead during the payment process and have not received a refund. The entire process was very deceiving.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The contract states it would dispute the credit report. I was also told I was paying the debt collection agency. I thought sage credit was the debt collection agency. I was told the payment was for the money I owed to the debt collection agency and they would dispute the debt on my credit report as well once I made the payment. I was lied to if I would have known the debt wasn’t going to be paid I would have never made the payment and would have tried to contact the correct debt collection agency. I thought my debt was paid and now it shows up on my credit report again.

On or around March 14, 2025, my husband called what he believed was Midland Credit to inquire about paying off a debt that was in collections.
The company asked if he wanted to pay the debt, which would continue to show on his credit for up to seven years, or if he wanted to retain their services and fix his report.
My husband explained that he and I both wanted to pay off debt and fix our credit reports.
He was told that in order for them to gain access to our credit reports we needed to each open accounts through a company called Standard Scores for an introductory offer of $1 for the first week, and if we continued, $24.95 monthly thereafter, as this was the means they used to monitor credit reports. My husband and I opened the Standard Scores accounts to see if we would even qualify for help.
After reviewing our reports the company told us that we both had a very good amount of discrepancies that they most definitely could help us get removed. We were told it would be April 20th when we’d get an update to our credit reports.
We each then opened a Credit Sage account and paid $378 and $328. We have since paid $49.90 to Standard Scores and $148 to Credit Sage for the month of April 2025.
May 13, 2025 we were just a day away from being charged another $49.90 from Standard Scores and $198 from Credit Sage, without any changes to our reports, and without further promised communication, so we called Credit Sage and spoke to *******, a manager, to explain that although we were asked up front to be patient with results, we could cancel and get a refund if we weren’t satisfied. Upon asking to cancel all services and asking for a refund, Mr. ******* refused saying that they had performed a service for us and we would not receive a refund. He said we probably didn’t get updates because there was a problem with the Standard Scores account. Although in 2 full months they never contacted us to make us aware through our emails, phone numbers or address to let us know.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. as I previously stated this is a credit monitoring agency deliberately misrepresented themselves as Jefferson Capital, the collection agency, but they are not affiliated have attached the transaction I made to Jefferson Capital, which came directly from my bank. I did not require assistance from this company, which is why I canceled the transaction immediately. Since I did not use their services due to the cancellation occurring the next day, I believe it is only fair to request a refund. Please refer to the previous attachments that include the contract and correspondence regarding the cancellation. They have not refunded me, even though I canceled the contract within the first three days, as outlined in their agreement. I am requesting my money back. **In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.

On April 24th I called into a company I was under the impression that was my credit card company. The representative led me to believe I was making a payment on my credit card bill however it wasn’t a credit card company at all but some type of credit repair service. I told the representative as well as the manager that I was trying to make a payment on my account not open an account them. They both stated that they already sent our letters to creditors. At 2:05 I received an email stating that my account wS canceled but at 3:38 I got another email stating that my card had been charged for $378Business Response

Made promises of fixing wrong information on my credit report while doing absolutly nothing. Somehow they are linked in with a collection agency through google and are very predatory towards desperate people. This business is posing as another company. Initially I tried to contact a creditor on my credit report to settle a dispute. They said they were the company and would settle with me and in addition, they are a credit cleaning company and can discharge the other accounts on my credit report. I paid an intial fee upfront of $378.00 which I was told would settle the first dispute and agreed to continue there services to clean the rest of the accounts. They ensured me it would take 30-90 days for all of the accounts to be gone. After more than 90 days, I soon realized the company is unlawfully posing as a creditor which they are not! After the initial fee of $378.00, they proceeded to deduct $99 dollars each month ensuring they are going to have my collection accounts all removed. I paid 3 months of $99.00. The total being $675.00. Not a single thing was removed, not even the account which they represented to be. (LVNV Funding LLC). This has adversely affected me in recieving my student loans due to the accounts not being removed. I am condisering to take legal action against this company, not only are they misrepresenting another company and posing as them but they are also posing as a credit cleaning company. I would like to see whether there is a remedy to receive the $675.00 I paid this company! There business is very misleading and I also have a contract regarding this company, that I have attached. I tried to login to the "portal" they gave me and now it wont allow me to access it. The company is named: Credit Sage LLC, address: 2093 Philadelphia Pike Ste, #5702, Claymont, DE, 19703. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The response is ridiculous from the fraudulent company and does not address any of the issues I have raised. The company is 1) impersanating another creditor (LVNV Funding LLC) they stated that they were that company when I first signed up for there services and that the collection would be settled. In addition 2) they stated 30-90 days maximum of removing my collections from my account. They asked for a initial deposit of over three hundred dollars and continued to charge me $99 dollars per month. The company responded by stating the contract made no promises of success in the disputes, but that is contrary to what they stated over the phone and the online portal that I no longer have access to stated the same. The company is fraudulent and I will be taking further action if this is not resolved! They need to be shut down and are committing various offenses by misrepresenting themselves.

On 12/17/2024, I called what I believed was Bank of America to pay off a charge-off account. However, I was instead directed to Credit Sage, a credit repair service. They promised to help me repair my credit and improve my financial situation. During the end of the call, they informed me that they required an upfront fee of $378 in exchange for their services. I agreed to pay the fee, under the assumption that I would receive the credit repair assistance they had promised. However, after making the payment, I received no substantial help or guidance in repairing my credit, nor did I see any tangible results or improvement in my credit situation. At no point was I made aware of the upfront payment requirement before engaging with their service, and I feel that the company misled me into paying for services without providing any value in return. I would like to formally file a complaint about this misleading business practice and request that Credit Sage address this issue and refund my upfront fee of $378.Business Response
