      (REQUEST TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT): I signed up for SilverSingles.com on Saturday, February 3, 2024. After signing up, I discovered I was unable to sign in to my account. I was getting a message stating "Session has expired". This continued for days. I contacted SilverSingles and they told me they blocked my account with no specific reason. They said I can have the account unblocked/reactivated if I send in a colored photo of back and front of my driver's license and/or passport. I refused to give out this information and requested to have my account deleted. I will not use a site who conducts business in this way. When I requested to have my account deleted, they emailed me back that I cannot move forward from here without providing my personal info (driver's license/passport). I also asked if they would be kind enough to allow me into the site so I can go in and delete my account myself to insure this has been done. I do not trust this company and will never hand over personal information for absolutely no reason. They are not allowing me to even delete my account, which is my right. Please advise on this. I have all the necessary back and forth emails to prove what has transpired between me and SilverSingles.com

      No way to contact them to delete my profile from their site. Trying to do it online produces an "error" - chat is not monitored, creating a ticket gives error, and phone # is not in service!

      Within one month of use, this dating site has mostly fake profiles resulting in fraud & potential scams. Out of 20-30 profiles 15-20 have proved to be fake. I can provide details for each potential match sending "smiles" & the text conversations. Since I am active on several sites I can tell that these are clearly fake. Basically, I haven't met one viable match on this site even though they advertise exclusivity & advanced algorithms. Worse yet, there's absolutely no customer service contact information at all on their website. No phone number, no email, nothing whatsoever. Each inquiry into support only circles you around Q&A support pages with no direct contacts or details. Simply put, this entire website needs to be shut down. They offer no legitimate services.

      Here is the correspondence for your reference:Customer Care Team,Thank you for your reply. However, you have misunderstood or misinterpreted my main concern. Whether by phone or email makes no difference. My main concern is that in order to initiate a complaint or concern of any kind I had to involve the BBB. From your website or APP, there is no ability to contact anyone to find help with any concern at all. After an endless review of canned Q&As, The message is to "fill out a contact form" which never materialized with any search. The bottom line is: there is no customer care contact information at all and this is unacceptable. Since this response below, I have reported 10 or so fraudulent profiles to you (which must be done on the website, not the app: another flaw). EliteSingles is littered with this activity & is not what your legitimate users expect for the subscription price. If your algorithms aren't sophisticated enough to protect the integrity of your platform, then it needs to be taken down.  This is nothing more than another fake service platform that's just a "cash cow" for a few owners who don't actually care about providing any legitimate services at all. I have met approximately 3 legitimate ***s on this site from the 30 or so that have "liked" me. I will continue to push for a full refund as I have already canceled the auto renew function.       I signed up for dating service Silver Singles (part of Spark Networks) on November 6, 2023, purchased a premium 6 months subscription. During my month on the dating site I was contacted multiple times by scammers, there are more fake profiles there than real people. Customer service would send me security alerts but only after I already communicated with these people and blocked them. Unfortunately, their profiles come up again and again under different names, and they keep sending you all kinds of messages. I felt very unsafe.
      Silver Singles does not have member protections in place, profiles are not verified, abd catfishers are allowed to roam free.
      I contacted customer service requesting to delete my profile and to issue a refund, since the service promised has not been delivered. They refused, siting their 3-day look-see policy. However, in 3 days you can't really orient yourself on the site and understand the dangers it's posing.
      I paid $179.70 for being harassed by scammers and being ignored by customer service. Would like to get the money back.

They are not in communication with me. Their last excuse was that it is not technically possible for them to give me a refund since payment was made through PayPal. To which I replied that I am very familiar with the way PayPal works - returns and cancellations are processed by vendors through PayPal, and my credit card gets credited shortly after that. I did contact PayPal to file a dispute. Playing Catch-22 here - PayPal forwarded my concern to Business, and of course the Business is not responding.

      I joined Silver Singles in October of 2023. For the first 2 weeks, they sent viable matches. After that, the majority of the matches sent were people with no photos and limited or no information on their profiles. The terms of the agreement say that once you delete a profile match, it's gone forever, however, they recycle matches on a regular basis. I emailed them twice asking for a refund., once on 11/5/23 and again on 11/19/2023. I requested a refund in both emails citing the information above. The solution was to not automatically renew my subscription in April of 2024. This site is a rip off preying on people over the age of 50. I would like a refund of my $179.00.

      On 10.21.23, I paid for a very pricey six-month subscription and after not being able to login to my account for 12+ hours yesterday, I put in a customer service ticket through the app and received an email this morning informing me that my profile had "inconsistencies" and was blocked. The email instructed me to provide a copy of my license or passport. I sent a photo of my passport more than 8 hours ago, have heard nothing back and my account is still offline. Outrageous, as if there is a mechanism to take an account offline so quickly, there should also be a mechanism, once proof of authenticity is provided, to get it back online just as quickly. Also, doing this to my account flags me as "under investigation" to anyone I might have been in contact with, so how do I get my reputation back? The answer is that I don't and that's just another loss (in addition to $226) I'll have to take. At this point, I just want to get the account reactivated so I can cancel the subscription and remove my profile completely. They should be vetting users at registration instead of taking legitimate people's money and then messing with their profiles.

      Signed up for 3 months of dating service. Zoosk restricted my account, not allowing me to log on to my account. Contacted Zoosk many times via email.

We are currently waiting for the dispute to be solved by the customer's payment provider. Once this has been done, we'll unblock the user's account, so he will be able to use his Zoosk profile again. The customer was informed about this via email.

      The profiles are fraudulent because the website is knowingly showing unused and fake profiles. I sent them a notice that this was a scam because I was not able to communicate with anyone on the website even though I have payed 50 dollars. And instantly I received a message in Spanish and it did not continue.
