In regards to my covid cancelled basketball event in Oklahoma on July of 2020 I purchased tickets thru them and was given a credit of the amount of $295. I emailed them to ask about and expiration date but no reply so I called there 1-800-361-7978 to get dates and was told that I had no expiration on store credit not even did the email state a expire date. And I spoke today with a CS and was told I couldn't retrieve my store credit due to it expiring? I was obviously fooled. I want my store credit for the amount I spent for a cancelled game I paid for. I'm so disappointed and they should be ashamed for feeding me lies.Business Response

I was looking to buy tickets to an event for a local venue (The Muny - Sweeney Todd performance) and their website popped up as the ticket seller. I realized immediately after I placed the order that it was a scam site. I tried to cancel my transaction within a few hours of realizing they were fraudulent and they will not provide cancellations or refunds. This is a deceptive business practice. In addition, they signed me up for recurring charges on my PayPal account which is fraudulent. They also were price gauging since their prices were more than double the actual cost of the ticket. Since I am a senior citizen I think they also preyed on my inability to recognize this online fraud. I want a full refund of $316.95 for tickets they did not have in their possession to sell.Business Response

I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is provided. Directly below the “Place Order” button our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $316.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. However, all orders placed through our site are covered by our 100% Buyer Guarantee which ensures tickets will be valid and delivered prior to the scheduled event.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details and relevant terms were sufficiently displayed and agreed to by our customer when they placed their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. June 11, 2022 purchased tickets from what I thought Was ticketmaster ? After my purchase I looked for an email from them , never received … just multiple emails from different email addresses . I’m looking over these emails one of them stated that the seller has transferred my tickets to my ticketmaster acct .. they don’t have that ?! Another said I will not recieve my tickets till Aug 2 , the concert is Aug 5th. I couldn’t find a number to call so I filled out some form that goes nowhere … so I disputed with my credit card they agreed with me but then this company disputed back saying all sales final .. so my credit card company gave me a number to reach them , I asked multiple times to speak to a supervisor and they denied me I kept asking , I asked for the name of a supervisor they wouldn’t give me one ? I said over and over I want a refund , you portrayed yourself as ticketmaster and you’re not and at the time of buying tickets we’re not even sold out at ticketmaster . I’m very frustrated and have no idea if I can ever resell these again if they’re even real ? Or even give them away ? So I want this refunded because my credit card is in their favor saying they state when I purchase all sales are final but nowhere did it say at time of purchase I was NOT purchasing from Ticketmaster … please BBB if you can help in any way ? We would like to ensure our customer that every order placed on our site is backed by our Buyer Guarantee, which means that their tickets will be authentic, valid for entry, and delivered prior to the event. This guarantee is outlined within our terms which is available for review during the checkout process. On the final page of checkout, after our customer input their payment and billing information, they were required to select a check box signifying their agreement to our terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Then, directly below the “Place Order” button, our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $556.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. In addition to this current claim, our customer filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this order. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. This site has very deceptive practices. I did not know that I was not purchasing tickets directly from Ticketmaster or the venue. They have set up google links to trick the buyer. I received a email from Ticketmaster after the purchase with some confusing info about the tickets, that is when I became aware of the scam. I contacted them immediately after purchase with no success. Even ticketmaster will reverse a charge if contacted within 24 hours. Their email reply even mentions canceling but they have no way to do so.Business Response

In this case the customer's ticket transfer was delivered shortly after their order was confirmed on 7/5/2022. The delivery email was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase and contained a link the customer should follow to accept their ticket transfer. A clear and detailed explanation of this process was provided in the email sent to the customer. As the customer's event has not yet occurred if they are experiencing any issues locating or accessing their tickets we recommend they contact customer service for further assistance.

On June 24, 2022, I purchased Guardians-Yankees baseball tickets for the game on Friday, July 1. A few days later, I received an email that the tickets were transferred. After following the directions for downloading the tix to MLB Ballpark App, the tickets did not appear. I received an email on or about 6-29 that the tix were recalled due to potential fraudulent activity. I contacted tickets-center.com to attempt resolution but was unable to reach anyone directly. I later contacted my credit card company who then contact the seller directly. I was assured the issue would be resolved. I again contacted the seller on 6-30 but was again unsuccessful. On Friday, July 1 I had still not received the tix. I again contacted the seller and advised they had until 3:00pm EDT to resolve the issue. Again, I did not get any resolution. Around 4:02pm on 7-1-22, I ordered alternate tickets from a different seller. At 4:41pm, I received an email that 3 tix were transferred to me (I originally ordered 6 tix). Those tickets were later recalled. At 6:16pm, I received another email that other tix were transferred to me, but at that time it was too late - I had already entered the ball park for a 7:10pm start time. Advised the contact center that I did not authorize the charge nor did I want the tickets and was was basically offered “can’t help you call Amex” with regards to fraud. They said their “fraud specialist” shows that it wasn’t fraud. They couldn’t offer an explanation as to what that actually means. It is clear someone was either using my phone or hacked me. I have changed the passcode to my phone, password to email, and more to ensure I don’t keep having this happen but they offer no help in refunding $453.50. the business frequently states they have checked for fraud when asked about how they check for it, I was told they have a separate department that is not customer facing but has told the customer service agent that they did not detect fraud. The customer service agent makes it known that they are t sure what all is entailed in the fraud investigation as they do not work in that area without attempts to determine how they know it isn’t fraud. Without proof that it wasn’t fraud by validated industry standard methods, I reject their claims and advise them yet again that it IS in fact fraudulent activity. Considering your “all sales final” policy, I am not sure who in their right mind would accept your terms. I have looked up the event, that I cannot go to, and did not want to attend in the first place and these tickets are outrageously overpriced. I am a veteran and a homeland security employee; I have been trained to evaluate for shady circumstances. I would not purchase these tickets, especially at this price. As previously stated, my wedding is 4 months away and this completely egregious charge followed by a complete lack of care for their “customers”, which I am not, is an unnecessary and a serious source of hardship for my fiancé and I. Zero flexibility is not a good way to do business. I’m also not able to sell the tickets because of your nefarious online ticket only so I am out a large amount of money for something I did not want, I did not purchase, and cannot and will not attend. I bought two tickets for a fletcher concert in Minneapolis at First Ave for November 4. I was charged $202.71. When I never received a confirmation email or any order number, I checked to see if it was a legitimate site. In this case after our customer's order was confirmed on 6/24/2022 two emails were sent to the email addressed enter at the time of checkout. Both an order confirmation and a confirmation of the expected ticket delivery date were sent to the customer for their records. Please note that the email address provided by the customer on this claim does not match the email they provided for their order. It is likely that this typographical error entered by our customer is what lead to the issue reported in their claim. The email address on their order has since been updated and their order summary has been resent.
Due to the nature of the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center does own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery date or ticket listing price. Rather, the estimated ship date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for Mac Dre Day, there they were able to see the tickets available, the Delivery Method and Expected Delivery Date (EAD). Once our customer selects the tickets they prefer, they were presented with the Delivery Method and directed to input their email address. Please note that here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected on the right-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $120.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Once our customers input their payment and billing information, they were prompted to click “Continue” and under this button it states: “Your account will not be charged yet.” Then, our customer is required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms stating, “I agree to the Terms & Privacy Policy. I have reviewed the Order Summary above. I understand that this site displays resale tickets and that prices may be above face value. I understand that this site is not affiliated with any box office or venue. All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations. All prices are listed in US Dollars." Below the terms, our customer’s order total breakdown is reiterated. Directly below the “Place Order” our customer was presented with the message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $120.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.
Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.

I googled Hamilton tickets at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center and clicked on a link for what I thought was the venue website (it was addressed as what would be the venue website) and clicked to buy tickets and it took me to tickets-center. Since I was on, what I thought at the time, was the venues website, I was sure it was legit. I bought 3 tickets and was charged 1000 dollars. This was a little over a month ago. Today I decided to go the the venue website and check out what their covid protocols are at the moment, and I see “Only tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will be permitted” I thought this was very weird considering I went to the VENUE website to buy tickets and purchased them there through TICKETS-CENTER. Then I looked through reviews, all 1 star, saying that Tickets-Center takes them to what they think is the venue website, and then “sells” you tickets. All which turn out to either never arrive, or don’t work.Business Response

It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Our customer has stated that they believed they were purchasing through the website for the venue or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and website branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. The top of every event and ticket listing page clearly states, “Independent resale tickets, prices may be above face value."
