ASE protection is not refunding my money as advertised. Cancel in 30 days and receive a full refund guaranteed. I canceled in 3 days of purchasing the extended warranty and 6 months later I am fighting to get my money back. I mailed in two notarized letters of cancellation. I certified the last notarized letter since they “did not receive” the first notarized letter. They took 3 weeks to upload the notarized letter into their system, which I was then told it would be 60 business days from the date they uploaded the notarized letter to receive my refund. It is now 22 days past the date I should have received my refund.Initial Complaint

ASE failed to honor the extended warranty contract causing me to have to pay $4,749.19 for repairs that should be covered. Their excuse was that my vehicle wasn't properly serviced before I purchased the vehicle. However, the contract specifically states that it is active contingent upon verification of my vehicle odometer mileage which means per the contract they cannot penalize me for anything that happened prior to my ownership of the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle in November 2022 and purchased the contract in January 2023.Initial Complaint

On 2022-11-30 16:15:21 I filed a car warranty claim #4825 which was subsequently approved by ASE for less than the full amount but acceptable to me at $599.
I have not yet received this payment despite numerous calls to ASE and a few guarantees "it would go out in Friday's check run" at least three times.
One time about 4 weeks ago I was told it went out yet never received.
I have tried to ask for a Manager numerous times without luck - always unavailable.
Last call to them, I said I would file a BBB complaint if the manager did not return my call, he/she was unavailable again but in the office. No response...Initial Complaint

3/18/22 Purchased the BEST Warranty Total Blue Shield plan for $1,420.00, paid in full. The starter went out in my car 6/7/23. This is a COVERED part. I tried to get the ASE Certified Ford Mechanic to bill the warranty but he was going to have to keep the car until payment was recieved. I filed a claim and spoke at length with the claims department to determine coverage and reimbursement options. I gave them the estimate over the phone and verified it was a covered loss. As soon as i submit the work order and proof of payment, refund would be issued. At NO time was negotiated pricing or caps on parts and labor discussed or disclosed. I did my part, paying the bill in full $638.21 for diagnosis to determine why the car would not start, starter parts and labor. I followed up a couple of weeks later as i had not recieved refund and was advised that they cut checks the end of each month, therefore my REFUND would go out 7/1/23. I just realized i had not recieved my refund yet. I called ASE to find out why, assuming it had gotten lost in the mail, only to find out they have not issued it. It is now scheduled to go out Friday 8/23/23. When asked why it did not go out as originally advised, she said probably budget issues?? What the heck? Then it got worse, when i asked to verify that the refund was still the agreed price of $638.21, i was told that no they approved $129.00!!! That is their pricing on the starter and .7 hrs labor replacement. I was hot! I told the girl this was preapproved before i paid for it at the Ford Mechanic and asked to talk to someone about my issue. She told me the refund will not be changed and there is no one i can talk to, everyone is busy! I said transfer me to someone to cancel my contract then, they were unavailable as well. I called the 800 number direct and got a voicemail, then called my original salesman and had to leave a voicemail again. I am SOOOOO ANGRY right now and SO TIRED of business' and their deceptive business practices.Initial Complaint

The Transaction occurred on the 12th day of May 2022. I was looking for an auto warranty and googled to find one with a good rating and ASE was on the list. I then made contact to find out about the service and was convinced from the sales rep that it was a good decision to purchase the warranty with ASE cause they would cover my Mercedes GL 550 everything and if I acted on the purchase I would get a discount and I would pay $3,000.00 instead of $3,500.00 so I was convinced and made the purchase,but then when i took my vehicle for minor repair to be done to it at S&G Automotive Garage in San Antonio Tx. I had to pay $1,500.00 out of pocket and ASE advised S&G that ASE would pay $500.00 on their part,but ASE did not comply with their payment to S&G and just lied thta the check was on the way ,two weeks went by and no check S&G made contact with ASE and were told that the check got lost and they were mailing out a second check and again two more weeks went by and nothing. S&G made contact with me and said they have never ran into this situation with any other warranty department,so i went and paid it out of my own pocket. I then contacted ASE and Spoke to Paula Relic supervisor at ASE and told her that i was canceling on the grounds that ASE committed a Breach of Contract she then told me what needed to be submitted on my behalf, An Notarized Affidavit with a complete explanation of the Breach of Contract,picture of the odometer with time stamp, Paula Relic Confirmed that they had all the documentation that was needed to process the refund and Confirmed that as soon as it was all reviewed the funds would get sent back to me, but i have not received them yet .So I made contact with ASE and told them that i was trying to resolve with without taking legal action and that i was going to contact The attorney General office in Delaware,BBB and the FTC their response,was that the check was getting maid out on the 7th of July 2023 and gave me confirmation,and yet nothing.Initial Complaint

On Feb 2022,i signed up for the warranty plan on my 2017 Mercedes GLA250,my specialist that was assigned to me was name ***** ** ******.On May 2022,i called and emailed Keith again to let him know i bought a new 2020 Mercedes A220 and to pause my warranty but do not cancel it until the warranty is up. On august 3,2023,my warranty is up on my 2020 Mercedes and since i drive alot to patients home to home visiting them for Home Health i needed to protect my car. I spoke to many people on the phone that i want to continue my warranty,they said it was ok and to do a transfer vehicle from Mercedes GLA250 to Mercedes A220,they sent me a form to fill out but they didnt provide me a VSC#,i emailed a diff specialist that was assigned to me name David Turner but no response so i called and spoke to about 3 people when i couldnt log in to my acct,one of the customer service name *****. Then the 3rd customer service said she looked into my acct and it was inactive and would take about 4days to activate it. Almost a week passed and i tried to log in and still could not. I called again and customer service told them but she said the guy whos in charge is not in his office.i told the lady this is very disappointing that noone is able to help me activate my acct so i can continue my warranty.they were all unprofessional and did not know how to do anything. They lied to me.i just want my money back of $2800. This is very frustrating and im driving my new mercedes putting alot of mileage on it w/o extended warranty,this is not right for this company to take my money,this place should be shut down and have everyone fired..Initial Complaint

I CALLED ASE FOR PROTECTION FOR MY CAR. I PAID $1800 IN 3 PAYMENTS. MY CAR WAS 94,072 AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A REFUND MY CAR WAS 97,051. I HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM SINCE APRIL FOR MY REFUND AND NO ONE IS CALLING ME BACK. THEY TOLD ME THEY SENT IT IN THE MAIL AND I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED IT.Initial Complaint

Purchased car warranty and paid the 5yrs all out and even purchased the tire and wheel package. I had a blow out on the interstate and had to call for tow and replace the tire. I sent in invoices and was denied my claim and towing. I requested to cancel service and submitted notarized letter of cancelation and also sent the letter certified. Purchased this extended warranty from ASE protection, company on February 7, 2023 for $2100 .
On May 10, I filed a claim for repairs on my vehicle. They straight out, denied my claim.
After going back-and-forth with them for a week, I decided at that point to cancel my policy.
On May 18 I requested a cancellation on my policy on May 19. They sent me an email stating the policy events canceled. Waited approximately two weeks for me to get my refund back. I called them and they stated that in order for me to receive a refund I need to send them a written cancellation notice notified at that point I sent them a written cancellation notice that it was notified mailed out to them on June tent with a tracking number, on June 12 they received the certified letter for my cancellation .
And today's August 7 I've been calling them every week regarding my refund the first couple of times we haven't received it or it's in our mail department. We're sorting it out this last time I called them. Oh we have never received it straight out. This company is a fraud and by checking the Better Business Bureau I'm not the only one that has an issue with this company they have over 44 complaints with a F I don't know if you could help me to get my refund back of $2100 but if not, you guys definitely should do something about this company because they're running a fraud and taking peoples money. ..
