On July 2020 I purchased the Total Blue Shield warranty from ASE. Months later my car needed repaired for $4,450. After the claim was made and my car was fixed on a Friday, which their Dependent doesn’t work on Fridays to make payments. I ended up paying out of pocket and told I would be reimbursed. Several months later after reaching out to ASE they said they mailed my reimbursement check but I never received it. They couldn’t even provide a check number of tracking number. A year later and I’m still unpaid and constantly giving the run around. It’s always someone will call you back in 48hrs. Haven’t received one call. After several emails from me and the dealership no one responds. It’s crazy how the finance department doesn’t take calls from customers or dealerships and customer service won’t give you their contact number.Initial Complaint

I BROUGH AN AUTO SERVICE EXTENDED WARRANTY. WHEN I FILE A CLAIM, THEY REFUSE TO REIMBURSE MY CAR REPAIR BILLS. IT BEEN 5 MONTHS AND THEY KEPT TELLING ME THE SAVE EXCUSES . April 2023 I took my vehicle for repair to the Ford dealer. The repair shop said the parts/labor is approx $600 but my warranty only covers $100. I decided this isn't warranty coverage at all. May 2023, I sent in a certified letter to ASE to formally cancel my policy and get a refund. This was what ASE advised as to the process is. They emailed me their cancellation doc, I signed it and sent it in along with a notarized letter stating my intent to cancel. This was sent to the address I was instructed to send it to by AE. Fast forward to May 2023. I emailed ASE for an update, but no response. I called ASE and I was told, yes they received the cancellation documents, but it takes 2 months for them to process it. I said ok. I emailed again July 2023 for an update and again no response. I called on 25 July 2023 for an update on my refund and I was told I need to send in the cancellation document along with the notarized letter again and address to the same address I sent the previous certified letter. That's when I said this is the same address I sent the docs via certified mail and you already have it. This company is not ethical, so I would like the BBB to assist in getting my refund for the policy I requested to cancel May 2023.Initial Complaint

I paid $1900 for auto Warranty
That covers engine transmission turbos.
I take my car to the dealer.

About a year ago I paid about $2k to this company for a 2012 Toyota extended warranty.
Unfortunately, at the beginning of this year my vehicle's A/C stopped working, I wasn't to worry about it since I knew I had the extended warranty. I proceeded to file a claim, and after finding a shop that was approved by this company, I proceeded to follow all steps in a claim. They said that only $500 was approved for my repairs, of course, my repairs total about $1.5k, even though I thought it was shady that not all repairs were going to be covered, I still proceed with the claim because $500 is still helpful. They asked me to pay for all the repairs and once I have all receipts from the shop that did the repairs, then I can send it to them for approval of the payment of the $500, of course, that process was also long and until this day even thought they said it was approved, I still haven't received their $500 payment.

I purchased the warrant requested a refund by email and in writing and got no refund. They have now removed California from their website so I believe they cannot operate in California where i am.Initial Complaint

I purchased this warranty for $3000 in October 2022, and tried to use it in December or January and they denied the claim. I requested a refund and cancellation in January and I've attached the receipt and request of cancellation. I've YET to receive a refund. I tried to dispute with my bank and unfortunately since I used a debit card and it was past 30 days there was nothing my bank could do. I bought this service contract/warranty in February 2023, the highest level one they sell for it to basically be near a bumper to bumper coverage. That is the way it was described to me when I purchased it. I paid $1800 for this with a credit card. I did not make monthly payments on it. I paid it in full for it to last, the full term of six years are 100,000 additional miles which ever comes first. However, the first time attempting to use it they refuse to pay anything on my vehicle except $500. I proceeded to ask why and the only answer I got was, that the problems of the vehicle were not maintained. Well, the problems were things like motor mounts, wheel, bearings, wiper, motor, control arm, tie rod ends, outer tie rod ends. These are all items that do not require maintenance at all. Things like oil changes and such require maintenance. They were referring to my oil change receipt said on there that the shop was recommending spark plugs. Well, they always recommend something because they want to make money. However, when I took my car for these other items to Nissan. Nissan says no I don’t need spark plugs. My vehicle does not need spark plugs until it reaches 105,000 miles, my car only has 85,000 miles. They told me that the reason they were declining as a second reason was because I didn’t have the spark plugs put on. They were just looking for a reason not to have the work done on my vehicle because it was over $4500. If they’re not going to provide the services and pay for peoples work to be done on their cars, then they don’t need to be in business. Period they did not try to resolve this whatsoever. I disputed it and they still declined it. They didn’t even bother to call me and tell me I had to call back into them on July 3 at 5:00 pm! I want my refund of my price paid for the warranty $1800 or I want my vehicle fixed! they say they will give me a prorated refund. But I will say if they end up not doing it for whatever reason I will file a small claims lawsuit against them, VSC#7176103Initial Complaint

Due to unsatisfactory performance I requested a refund two months ago.
I sent all required documents via registered mail over 30 days ago.
I phone the company and gave them the information only to be put on hold for 13 min then sent to voicemail.
