    An extended warranty contract (VSC# 7161710) was established on Aug 1, 2023. The contract was cancelled effective January 16, 2023. All documents requested by ASE was mailed on the 18th of January 2023. As of April 1st, the company claimed that they never received them. On Aril 3, 2023 the documents were mailed again with registered mail and were delivered on April 5, 2023. They should have issued a refund in 4-6 business days. I have not heard from them and the rep still claims that they have not received it blaming it on their mail person.

    I bought this warranty 10/18/22 for my 2008 Cadillac STS. I was given the option to rather pay for the warranty upfront or do monthly payments. I chose monthly payments and had to put $125 down, my monthly payments would be roughly $80 a month. I was told at the time if I canceled within a month I would receive my $125 back. On 11/18/22 I decided to sell my Cadillac. I contacted them so that they would not take any payments out of my account and they told me that because I called within a month I would receive my $125 back. He said it would take four weeks & would be deposited into the bank accounts that I used to set up the warranty. Starting 12/18/22I begin checking the balance in my checking account to see if it was deposited. It had not been but because it was the Christmas season, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited until after the first of the year. 1/10/23 I begin contacting then about my refund. I was told that they had not refunded it yet but they were going to do so on 1/13/23. 1/20/23 still no deposit. I contacted ASE warranty and was told that for whatever reason the money “bounced back “he said they would try it again. I gave them an additional week was told again that the money “bounced back “. I’ve had multiple transactions in my checking account and have never had anyone say things for bounced back I called my bank and they said things don’t just get bounced back unless they have a wrong account number. I contacted is the warranty they assured me they had the correct account number and they would mail me a check. That was 1/27/23. It is now February 25, 2023 and I have not received a check When I call ASE warranty I cannot get through to anyone unless I say I’m a new customer and would like to buy warranty. Shockingly ** or **** will pick up and they will be more than happy to help me buy another warranty but when I bring up they still owe me money they transfer me to another department and I am left on hold until I am disconnected. I would love to get my $125 back. At this point I don’t think that’s going to happen. Do not buy warranty from this company. It is a complete scam and fraud.

    I purchased an extended warranty through ASE protection on March 22nd 2022 for $2,500 for a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover.

    On August 4th 2022 I called ASE to cancel the warranty as I decided to sell the car, I was told to send a picture of my odometer statement signed via email, which I did on August 4th 2022. I was told it would take 60 days to complete the refund.

    After 60 days, I reached out and was told my refund was processed and mailed out to me, I asked to confirm the address the check was mailed to and they were not able to confirm the information. The agent who I spoke to by the name of Tatyana told me they would have to cancel the check and reissue me a new one.

    45 days later, I called back and was told they were waiting on me to send in a copy of my odometer picture and it needed to be notarized, I argued as to why that was needed considering I was advised a check was issued but never received, so it was a simple case of making sure the original check wasn't cashed and reissuing a new check. After a lengthy back and fourth, I obliged and sent a notarized letter with a picture of my odometer via FEDEX recorded mail.

    60 days after the mail was sent, I was told it was sent to the incorrect address, which was a lie as I confirmed the address and confirmed the individual that signed for the package was an employee of the company. on

    January 12th of 2023, ASE sent me a text message stating I can email my signed notarized documents to them via email, which I did. On February 23rd 2023 I called them to get an update, I speak to the same lady named Tatyana who tells me they are waiting for me to mail in my notarized documents before they can issue a refund.

    Its been 7 months and I'm still waiting to receive my refund amount of $1,700 (Which was the ballpark amount Tatyana told me the check amount would be for) my account number with them is VSC#7154415

    I purchased a plan for my 2006 Kia Rio in Aug of 2022 it went in to effect 30 days after purchase. On September 28 the car was totaled. On Oct 5 I called to cancel the plan as obviously it would not be needed. I have been given the run around for 4 months about my refund. I had to send in 2 notarized letters stating the car was in fact totaled. Which why should it matter if I just wanted to cancel. I was told I could cancel at any time. In fact I have bought 2 plans one for my 2012 Kia Optima as well. I was just asking for refund for the totaled car. I have been told some of the craziest things like they couldn't process the mail for 2 week due to policy of Delaware Healt Dept. well DE Health dept 5 dept. told me that was not true. I even spoke to the governor's office and they took a complaint and I have filed a complaint with the State of DE Attorney General office. I was told by 3 agent that they had my paperwork and check would be sent. When it never came after several several calls I was told I had to send another notarized letter as they did not have the first one that I was told they had. I have done everything they require and yet they refuse to refund me. I am a 74 yr old widow and I do not deserve to be treated this way NO ONE does. This is out and out fraud.

    This is about a refusal to honor contract and communicate with myself and the automotive garage that did the estimate. When the breakdown occurred I contacted ASC insurance, from whom I have total Blue shield coverage covering mechanical and electrical components breakdown. I was told to take it to the garage and have them call ASE, first to get a claim number, then to give an estimate for repairs. I took it to an ASE certified garage in the area Macs Automotive on Carson Street in Lakewood California. They then while I was there attempted to contact ASE insurance for the claim number in authorization to do an estimate. They were forced to have to leave a message with an answering service during regular business hours. ASE never responded to either them or myself. We both attempted to contact ASE during business hours, but both had to leave messages which were never returned! Finally after several calls I got a hold of somebody connected with ASE who told me that my garage was lying and they never tried to contact them which I knew not to be the case! I gave them Macs automotives contact information so they could contact them about the claim which they never did! Nor did they contact me with any kind of reasons for their inactions. After that it all devolved into arguments at their end which upset me highly, even after continued attempts by the garage and by myself they refuse to communicate! At this point the estimate is at least $2,100 for the mechanical repairs that are covered by the policy! However ASE will not contact Max Automotive to give permission to do theCovered repairs! This is forced me to have to have them complete the repairs on my dime! When I originally called ASE I was assured that they did cover this type of repairs but will not further communicate!

    I purchased a warranty in May 2022 for my Mercedes-Benz it was 2300.00 in sept I has my coolant system took it to Mercedes and they called Ase and was told they wouldn’t cover it was not covered until 120 days after I purchased the warranty. I was told I could get a partial refund ,ase sent me cancellation agreement I signed got it notarized and priority mailed it on Sept 7 2023 called a week later asked was it received was told they had to wait 14 days to open mail due to COVID ok I waited until Oct 2022 was then told it would mailed in 90 days called back January 7 2023 told ck was mailed out Jan 6 2023 still have not received have been trying to call everyday since January 12 2023 now they have my #blocked I have contacted my bank

    This business is a total scam!! Do not buy a warranty here!!! I paid $2350 for a 100 mile warranty for my truck. The first claim I had (my starter), just a few hundred bucks, Ford could not access this company’s joke system to “upload diagnostics”. I had to pick my truck up and take it somewhere else, they told me if I paid out of pocket then I just submit the claim through email. Nope! They then said they weren’t receiving it. Lies lies lies. I call them up, attitude from the lady. I ask for a refund of my policy, which has not been accepted yet

    I purchased Total Blue Shield plan with them for $1400 that covered 5 Years/100,000 miles and I received order confirmation on 30JUN22. I later cancelled my plan and they promised to give me my full refund back according to their policy. I never heard from them so I gave multiple calls, and I was finally told my check has been sent to a wrong address and that they will send me a new check. It's been more than a month and I still have not received my $1400 from them and they won't pick up my calls anymore.
