    I purchased an extended warranty on 9/22 after ours had ended on our 2017 Harley Davidson Triglide. In April of 23 I took the bike to the shop for a engine noise. Their response to this repair was it is not covered due to the oil pump being on a bulletin. I understand that they wouldn’t have to pay if it was on a recall list but a bulletin is not a recall. So I paid out of pocket and told them I wanted to cancel my policy. They said okay and sent me the form which I signed and sent back. I called to make sure they received it which they acknowledged they did. I asked how long before I would get my money back? That is when they told me they needed an odometer photo and notorized document in writing that I wanted to cancel. So when my husband got home he said let wait and not cancel until we purchase another policy. So I DID NOT send in the notarized letter. And wouldn’t you know it. We got the bike and it had another issue. And again they refused to pay it and after talking to 3 different people to find out why they said my policy had been cancelled. I told them I did not send in any notorized letter to them. They said oh well it has been cancelled so I ask where is my money then and they again said well we need it notorized in writing. I said then it’s not cancelled I have no money and you have no letter and she hung up on me. What a fucked up company this is. They Harley shops are putting up flyers that they do not accept this warranty company. SO I GUESS IM OUT $1500 BECAUSE OF THIS  POOR COMPANY. I HOPE THEY ALL ROT IN

    They took my money while knowing all the while they DO NOT cover California see attachment. I just review their website and saw no California. Want a FULL refund of my money mailed to me.

    2022 I purchased an $1,800 6-year automobile Warranty for my 2019 Ford Taurus.
    April 2023, I requested to cancel the Warranty as I AM MOVING OUT OF THE US and have sold the car.
    I informed ASE Warranty April 11, 2023, and was sent by email:
    >correspondence cancelling the Warranty
    >a list of needed documents (notarized request to cancel and photo of odometer).
    All documents requested were sent - twice (April 11, 2023 and April 22, 2023) via US Mail and via email. As well I sent follow-up emails requesting status.

    Later in April and May, I called to 302-549-2462 and 800-551-0223 asking whether all documents received. I was informed by two staff persons that ASE does not open correspondence until 14 days after receipt due to COVID precautions.

    I called ASE in June - no answer.

    I was expecting $1K+ of the $1,800 paid (-$250 admin fee, -$100 paid me for damaged tire and -10% another fee).

    I would like my prorated refund.

    I purchased a vehicle service contract from ASE in order to protect my recent car purchase. The contract was signed and executed on 1/25/23. A few days later, I changed my mind and called to cancel the contract according to the terms of the contract. The contract states within 30 days of purchase, a full refund would be given to the purchaser. I also complied with the contract to send a notarized letter stating my intent to cancel. This was sent to them and they received the required documents on 2/28/23 according to my USPS tracking number. I have called asking for my refund over 9 times with no response. My calls have consistently been sent to their finance manager, William Porter, whom never returns my voicemail messages. I was told that they ASE can hold my refund up to 30 business days. It has been over 4 months and they refuse to release my refund. What is interesting is that on social media, this business is reported to have a A+ accredited BBB rating. This is obviously not true and falsely reporting. So many issues here to complain about. I want my money back as agreed by contract.

    12/28/22, my car went in for repairs for $2393 of which ASE agreed to pay $1225.56. My mechanic would call for the balance and ASE would keep giving him the run-around. ASE will claim to have mailed a check but the check never arrives. (mind u this has been going on from 12/28/22 till right now on 5/14/23) I would call and get the same run around from customer service, forget about talking to a manager or supervisor, I think I've spoken to the answering Machine more than any manager. They don't return your calls, ASE has no courtesy or civility towards is customers. The only politeness I experienced was when I paid $2300 for the warranty, oh, they were so nice then. The rep even told me " your in good hands" lolol. They had pulled this same stunt when my car first went in for repairs, ASE gave him the same cat and mouse story, only when my mechanic threatened ASE with a law suit and they got scared and paid with a credit card. Sometimes when u call, nobody answers. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH ASE. THEY WILL TAKE UR MONEY, THEY WONT PAY FOR REPAIRS AND KEEP GIVING U THE RUN AROUND. I definitely taking them to small claims court once I have the time but before then, I will stop at nothing until the whole world hears about ASE. I'm getting on every social media platform available to let ppl know how disingenuous and fraudulent ASE is. And just a piece of advice, before u buy car warranty from any company, ask ur mechanic to recommend one for u, preferably one they has a good rapport with.

    Set 12,2022 I was researching extended warranty for a vehicle I was thinking about buying, so I contacted Edward at ASE. He informed me of a promotion , I told him I would no longer be buying a car yet, he said he could hold the offer for 1 week while I found a vehicle as long as I paid a $210.00 refundable deposit, so I gave him my CC#.
    I couldn't obtain financing for the car so I called Edward and informed him I would no longer be purchasing an extended warranty, Edward said I would receive a full refund, that was 8 months ago. That did happen , but what did happen is they charged my CC for the total of the 5 year warranty at $2120.00 I have made over 20 phone calls and sent several letters in an attempt to get resolution, they just keep saying their system shows the refund is processing, but again that was over 6 months ago. I never agreed to any charges other than the $210.00 refundable deposit and would like my monies returned. I can provide additional information if needed

    Ase has broken contract for 1999 Chevy Tahoe, and 2011 Chevy HHR. The Tahoe has been serviced twice and the HHR serviced once since January 2023. To date a total of $1,125 has been paid since August 2022.

    In August of 2022 I was looking to purchase a car. I wanted to get an extended warranty on the car because of the age of the car. I contacted ASE and worked with a man by the name of ** ***** ***** ******** and received a quote for the coverage. A few days later I received another call from Ed offering me a better coverage rate but he stated the offer was for a limited time. Since I had not purchased or seen the car in person yet (it was in a different city in California and I was flying there within a few days) he suggested that I send him $100 to hold the special offer and then if I decided not to buy the car my $100 would be refunded. I did fly up to look at the car and decided not to purchase it. I emailed Ed in early September to let him know I didn't purchase the car and wouldn't need the coverage. When I didn't hear from him I called the ASE Extended Auto Warranty offices and spoke with someone and explained the issue. They said they were going to send me an email to respond to in order to get my $100 refunded. I checked my Junk and Spam folder for several days but could not find an email. I then emailed Ed again, told him the story, and asked if either he or the other gentleman could resend the email. I never heard back from Ed or anyone else in the ASE office. I made several other calls in the weeks thereafter but was always told Ed was busy or not in and to leave a message and he'd get back to me. I just today called their office number shown on their website - (800) 551-0223 - (and Ed Baker's direct line) and both numbers have a disconnected recording with no reference to a new number. They still have their website up so I "requested a quote" today to see if anyone will reach out to me so I can bring this issue to a close. I'd just like to get my $100 deposit back.

    Been 4 months since I started this headache with this company. Transmission stoped working had a transmission shop fix it they took 2 months to give the ok that payment will come I paid my part in cash to the shop. I keep getting excuses on why the shop isn't getting payment. Been 4 attempts of getting a check mailed out to the shop. They don't track their checks I can't get a hold of a supervisor they never give me no answers just a lot of sorrys. Back and with Tatiana. I feel like I'm getting scammed out this company and been lied too for months on end. The shop wants payment and they don't care. Needed more answers than excuses 4 months and 29 calls later no payment. Really want them to send payment or give me a full refund VSC# 7149542

    Dear Department of Auto Warranty Services,
    I am writing to file an official complaint against ASE Protection Company regarding the denial of my warranty claim for my car repairs.
    My name is Nader Zad, and I am a Ph.D. holder in Structural-Earthquake Engineering living in Chicago. On December 9, 2022, I purchased a warranty for my car from ASE Protection Company in the amount of $1,260 with a down payment of $105. The VSC number is 7171305, and the effective mileage started at 160,221 miles, with an effective date of December 10, 2022.
    During the warranty period, I had to make a claim for repairs on my car. I contacted ASE Protection Company through their portal, sent them messages, and emailed them all the supporting documents. The claim number was 4688, with a CLAIM ID of 7171305-5296. The labor cost was $1,400, and the cost of the parts was $1,146.17, making a total of $2,546.17.
    However, I was shocked and dismayed to find that ASE Protection Company had disabled my account, preventing me from sending any claims. I tried my best to get my claim reconsidered, but they denied my claim despite my valid contract with them.
    This is not acceptable. As a customer, I have fulfilled my obligation to pay for the warranty, and ASE Protection Company has a contractual obligation to cover the expenses of the repairs. I have been met with a complete lack of cooperation and accountability from the company, which has caused me undue stress and financial burden.
    I request that the Department of Auto Warranty Services take immediate action to investigate and rectify this situation. I ask that ASE Protection Company be held accountable for their actions and cover all the expenses related to my claim. Additionally, I urge the Department of Auto Warranty Services to take steps to ensure that ASE Protection Company does not repeat this behavior with other customers in the future.
    Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt and favorable resolution.
