      I contacted my surge credit card today and I tried to update my address and **** ID number **** laughed at me and refuse to update my address. I felt really disrespected by **** and the previous representative. The previous representative told me that I could update my card information on the Surge app I tried that several times on different days and I was on able to do that, so why do we have an app? If you don’t want me to be a customer just let me know. I’ll pay the balance off and close your card. She also stated that she will gladly close my account. I don’t think the representative should laugh in a customer face. That’s very disrespectful.

      I have a credit card with this company and I have had no problems until I applied for the FIT mastercard. I payed the processing fee of $89 and the card never worked. I've called customer service several times in regards to this matter, and each time I'm told another lie. I closed this account and have yet to receive the $89 processing fee back. I would like my money back or I'll just have to dispute this with my bank.

      After receiving a letter about the annual fee I requested to have the annual fee removed and the late fees removed. The representative said that they would be removed. A few months later I found out they had been reporting me negatively to the credit bureaus for 4 months and we’re about to send it to collections. I spoke with a representative who corrected the issue and closed out the card and they admitted that it was their mistake but said I would need to send a letter to get the marks removed. This is unacceptable. I was never late it was an employee error. They need to remove the 3-4 months of reporting me negative as the account should have been closed.

      I have three credit cards with Continental Finance, and they all were marked past due after making payment arrangements. A payment in October 2022 was missed due to me having a stroke and was in the hospital past the payment date. When my health improved, and I was finally able to process what happened I made a payment November 11, 2022, online for the October payment before 30 days past due and before the November 2022 payment due date. I then called Continental Finance explained to the agent what happened and even told them for the last six years I had not missed a payment on any cards. I was told to apply for an assistance program and don't make any payments until I knew the status. Over several weeks, I kept calling the company and was told my request was pending. Finally, I was given the ok and all my cards were enrolled into the program, and I was making the payments on the dates I was told. I was told to make my first payments on January 16th. Though I made payments in December 2022 and January 2023 my accounts were reported on my credit report past due. I even paid the program off early. I was never told that my accounts would be reported late even though I was making payments. I received an alert from Experian that accounts from Continental Finance were marked 30 days and 60 days late while I was making the payments. I contacted Continental Finance again and was told to write a letter and request the late charges be removed from my credit through customer relations. I was given a fax number to fax my letter which I did twice and never received a response. I kept calling back but was told I was not allowed to talk to someone in customer relations. In six years, I was not late and the one time I was late due to having a stroke my credit was ruined by Continental Finance. I wish Continental Finance staff would have told me the truth about reporting me late even though I was making payments and responded to my request to remove late payments.

      This company is terrible. Customer Service is horrible. Per statement from my Credit Card (VERVE ending in 0875) - the Payment due on March 18th was $303. I paid this amount prior to the due date, broken down in three separate payments ($100, $100, $103 - TOTAL $303) - these payments were made and cleared my bank account prior to the due date of 3/18. On March 18th, the company WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION took another $303.00 payment from my Bank of America Account - for a payment that had already been met for the month of March. I IMMEDIATELY contacted the credit card company to make them aware of their error and the unauthorized charge of $303 - and was told that it would be noted, corrected and escalated for the money to be returned to my bank account as the monthly minimum had been paid and met already (as documented). I also contacted my bank about the same thing. The unauthorized charge of $303 caused my Bank of America Account to be overdrawn and cost me fees with the bank as well. The payment was ulitmately returned by the bank and NOW the company has updated my credit report stating that I am 30 DAYS LATE for a payment that was MADE and CLEARED prior to the due date. This INACCURATE REPORTING caused my credit score to drop by 40 POINTS. Today, when I looked at my card information on the app - I see that they ALSO DECIDED to charge me a $29.00 Returned Check Fee for THEIR UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE of $303 on my Bank of America Account for this payment for the month of March that had been PAID IN FULL and MET PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE OF MARCH 18TH. This is NOT OK. I want my information reported ACCURATELY and FEES CREDITED BACK TO ME THAT THEY CAUSED TO HAPPEN DUE TO THE UNAUTHORIZED TAKING OF $303 from my Bank of America Account. PLEASE HELP!! The company is unwilling to assist me and honestly I see has HURT more than helped even after being assured it would be taken care of.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my  issue.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The returned payment was as a result of me contacting my bank to let them know that the charge was NOT Authorized.  When I signed up for auto-payments, I was assured by their customer service representative that I was current and that the next payment would be APRIL 18TH with the auto payment option set up then.  It is quite interesting how quickly they responded to this complaint, but were unwilling to assist me when I called them about this.  ALSO, the Company Did report me as current and then 2 days later changed it to 3 missed payments.  I just want records to reflect accurately THEIR ERROR on my Account and Credit Report.  Thank you so much for your help.

      Several months ago, I contacted them several times over a period of several weeks pertaining to a hardship. They refused to work out any temporary arrangement and continued to add fees. My original balance of $500 ended up being a charge off of $800.
      This is now ruining my credit.

      This account was paid off in full on February 18, 2023 for $95.52 This account was never late. This account had fraudulent charges done on it. Add surge, MasterCard ruled it as fraud. I paid off the total balance minus the fraudulent charges. Now Surge mästerkock is claiming I have late payments because I didn’t pay the fraudulent charges. And they are reporting me to the credit bureau saying that I’m two months behind what I’m not. They need to remove all late payments from the credit bureaus add correct the errors ASAP.

      First of all Surge credit card these people are a bunch of idiots.

      Second of all I made a payment for $95.59 and it got applied to my account on March 5, 2023.

      Third of all I have never been reported to the credit reporting agencies for being 30 days past due because I’ve never been 30 days past due you morons.

      fourth of all you guys never contacted me despite the fact that you say you did and one able to reach me because it’s a total lie I have no missed calls from you and no voicemails from you.

      Fifth of all I have spoken to the customer service department today and spoke to a supervisor name ***** and her operator ID number is ****** she has put in an ASAP urgent request to reopen my claim.

      Sixth of all my balance is $276.57 and the next person who responds to this complaint can they please know how to read English and read a computer screen and don’t respond to a Better Business Bureau complaint within accurate information you morons

      I am not aware of this account. I have reached out to 3 Credit Bureaus and CELTIC BANK/CONTFINCO to have this account removed from my file and they are always saying the same excuse, which is no longer acceptable. I have filed this as an outcome of Identity Theft. Regardless of all actions done on my end, there was no action from the 3 Credit Bureaus. Thus, I am reaching out to seek assistance to have CELTIC BANK/CONTFINCO confirm that I have no account with them and that the 3 Credit Bureaus can simply remove it from my credit report.
