On 8/03/23 I attempted to open a credit card account with Fit Mastercard a subsidiary of Continental Finance with faithful attempts then successfully completed this transaction using my checking account acct # ********** was told card won't be ready to use after 10 or more days after waiting for these days to pass I still found they did not open this amicably at the desired date. I proceeded to call Fit Mastercard agent that I wanted to cancel this account and get my processing fee of $89.00 returned checking account the agent on the 3rd of August it would take between 7-10 business days to see the refund back to my checking acct it was it's actually 12 days and they still haven't refunded the $89.00 processing fee as of this notice 8/26/2023. The only proof I have was the last four numbers of the Fit Mastercard it was 9124. I would like this resolved ASAP. I consider if Fit Mastercard will open a new CC account fully activated and ready to use provided the $89.00 processing they already have when trying to open the old Fit Mastercard using last four digits of last Fit Mastercard 9124. I would say back in 2021 I had received a verve card thinking it would work which it did not and I reached out to the company and requested it be cancelled and I was told yes yes yes we will cancel it. Recently i was receiving bills for 299 which I did not use the card and cut it up and im like why is this happening
I have had no communication with this company and earlier this year I get a letter saying this account was charged off and put in collections which of course reflects on my credit. I want this removed as I do not have the card nor had it for over 2 years and I want this removed from credit report or I will seek legal actionBusiness Response

This company claims that I owe them 1500 dollars and I never had that card and their telling me that I ran up a bill for 1500 dollars. I have never had a credit card with a credit limit for 1500. I do not know how they got my information. That is not my bill. The person I spoke to was rude and their illegally calling my family members and humiliating me when that’s not my bill. I have been very sick I almost lost my life now I’m disabled. And this is very upsetting and frustrating.Business Response

I had a fraud aleft in 2020 and another one out after the incident in 2021 . You can look at my fraud victim alert history. I am a college student. In which im not always at the listed address. If someone in that listed address have applied and made purchases with my name I will find out and handle it accordingly. But I myself haven’t made any purchases or applied for this card. I just don’t want something negative like this to be on credit especially when it’s not mines or my fault.

I have had my fitmaster cards through Continental finance for over 3 years now. In the beginning I had made my payments like I was supposed to and they denied me a credit line increase after 6 months even though they advertised that they double your limit. When covet happened. Yes I did get behind but in the last 6 to 8 months of this year I have been on time and in the last 3 months my balance has been zero throughout the 10-year of my card. I have been denied repeatedly for a credit line increase in March and April. I was denied even though the representative told me that I shouldn't have been denied, but they told me to wait until May of 23 to apply again. So I applied in April and May both months I was denied. The default reason was negative credit activity and then in June I applied again and July. I applied again now the last 3 months my balance has been zero and I have not had any late payments for over 6 months yet. They keep telling me I have negative credit activity and I have had too many deny transactions which as they explain to me meant that the merchant has denied my card and for whatever reason that is my fault and I'm being penalized. That's exactly what was explained to me. No other credit card does this? How are you going to tell me I cannot get a credit line increase if the merchant is not denies the transaction. That is not my fault. I have nothing to do with that. I think they're being unfair and discriminatory because they just don't want to give credit line increases. I'm tired of it. I have demonstrated a good payment history in the last 6 to 8 months I should get an increaseBusiness Response

Someone ran up $1347 on my Reflex Mastercard. The card has a $1350 limit. The charges were from different parts of the country. I was carrying a zero balance at the time. I reported the fraudulent charges to Reflex. They insist I have to make the minimum payment on this balance until they resolve the situation. I don't particularly feel inclined to pay for their incompetence. I have no way of knowing if I will get this money back, or if they will try to just credit my account with a debit amount. They have already been working on it for 3 weeks and have only cleared one transaction out of 27. I would like all the charges removed from my account.Business Response

Filed a dispute against (ebay) in march 2023
Spoke with diana/diane. Gave her the personal information and details. Gave me a reference number.
Called back in april 2023 and was informed by a supervisor that my dispute had not been assigned yet. Supervisor forwarded this information to a dispute specialist who then called me in may and tried to justify this mishap by claiming they needed details regardng the purchase. The details were given to diane in march/april 2023. The details are that I was charged for an item I never recieved. Upon leaving 2 responding messages with these details again. It is now june 2023, and I have not recieved my credit. Continetal finance has violated credit rights, allowed companies to charge, refused to credit my card, plays games, long hold wait times (30 min), representatives are obnoxiously rude, refuse to give me corporate headquarters and the director. Upper management ect. As a customer. I Have been mistreated throughout the duration of having this card. To whom it may concern I would like a manager/supervisor regarding my complaint. I dont appreciate not being given many options and I dont appreciate the fact that my concerns were not addressed. The company lied and stated I would receive a refund, however, I did not, this has not been resolved/addressed. I was willing to withdraw my complaint after speaking with a manager (who informed me that the matter would be escalated within 72 hours, its been 96 hours).My payments are still being withheld.I never recieved my refund (from my 4/2023 dispute)And I was denied a credut line increase (due to too many declines which were caused by this company withholding my payments and not applying my payments to my balance).This is why this matter needs to be reopened as UNSATISFIED. Company lied to the bbb and myself. I would like someone in charge to further handle my complaint. This is a direct violation, not to mention my concern were never addressed properly by the bbb and or this company.Bbb Corporate is requested at this time.

I lost my credit card, March 2023 and there were unauthorized charges on my card I reported the incident to continental finance, and I was told they would investigate and get back to me. I filed a police report about a week later, I received a letter stating that they completed their investigation and did not find any fraudulent charges on my account and told me I was responsible for all the charges.totaling $479.00 I called the company and asked what they based their decision on and never received an answer. I told the company I had a copy of the police report and they asked me to email them a copy. And that was over a month ago, and I have not received a response, and on top of the fraudulent charges they are also charging me late fees but I have a bank statement that shows I have not been late for one single payment and they keep telling me I have to pay $110.00 (idk what for) my monthly payment amount is $35.00 this is wrong, and I cannot even access my statements online..This is fraudulent behavior being displayed from the company on 5/20/23 I was charged $16.25 interest on purchase but it won't allow me to click on it and fully see the charge and on 5/23/23 I was charged $41 late fee and I do not have one single late payment. I am enclosing a copy of my payment history from my bank. This is fraudulent charges the company has placed on my account.Also they keep saying they have credited my account ready but if they didn't find any fraudulent charges then why would they credit my account I never received a credit for the unauthorized charges. 6 Months ago I canceled a secured credit card with them. I have not received my security deposit yet. After waiting a couple months I never got the refund check but received the statement showing I closed the account. Contacted them the beginning of April and was told they would re issue the check. May 1st still no check. Spent 35 minutes on the phone with them this morning to be told they would look into it. I asked to speak with the manager and was put on hold for 15 of the 35 minutes. She came back to the phone and said she would have to have a manager call me back. I can no longer log in to my account to provide account number. Have not got a call back yet.
