  PROBLEM: I made an appointment w/ B J. Franklin Plumbing, Meco Dr. Wilmington DE, to remove a clog from my sewer system. The result was they caused gallons of sewage to be spewed on my basement floor and left it there.
  These are the essentials:
  On 3/8/23 Nick from B J Plumbing, came. I learned 2 techs were needed. **** for cabling and after that, another to run a camera through the pipe.
  Nick said he could come back at 8 a.m. the next day so there would be 2 there on the same day. The “camera guy” would come & do his work after cabling was done. We discussed it & I agreed I would be there at 8 a.m. on 3/9. We clearly made an appointment for 8 a.m. on 3/9/23. We did this face to face.
  At 8:25 a.m. on 3/9, I called plumbing office & was told **** was at the office. I asked about their, “If we’re late, we pay” & received resistance. (More about that later.)
  When **** arrived, he waited in his truck. Another truck arrived. It was the “camera guy.” Some time later **** came to the door with equipment. (Exact times to be given later.)
  To release the clog, **** had told me he would take the toilet off, cable through that sewer pipe. Then “camera guy” would use camera. I asked for a recorded copy of that. (I have not received it.)
  I left **** to do the job. He called me on my cell phone when he was done & I said the “camera guy” (Brian B.) was to begin his work; **** was to do the recording.
  ***** *. met me outside the home and using clipped sentences, he was not as helpful as I needed. I said I wanted to go to the basement to see what drain he was talking about. It was then I discovered the basement had gallons of sewage on the floor.
  ***** *. had not told me. He told me I’d have to hire a restoration company to remove the sewage.
  What I want
  • The plumbing company to pay for the cleanup.
  • Fulfillment of, “If there’s any delay, it’s you we pay.”
  • The $50 coupon shown on the website approved, applied to my charge & sent to me.
