On 9/13/23 I received a promotional email from "ID.me Shop" offering a lifetime license for **************** Home and Business 2021 for $34.99. I had previously purchased and was using Office ************** 2019 and made this purchase as an upgrade, but there appears to be no change in my software after installing this new version, and the About dialog stil shows Im using a 2019 license. The purchase confirmation included an email address for questions: *************************** I sent an email on 9/14 asking for an explanation of what, exactly, I purchased. I received a reply that addressed version numbers (Office 2021 has Office 2019 version numbers?), but not the upgrades to the software from 2019 to 2021. I sent more emails requesting clarification on 9/15, 9/29 and 10/5 but these have never been answered.Currently Im thinking Ive been cheated, charged almost $40 for software I already had.Business Response

However, we did not receive any further communication from this customer after that date. We do have the full email thread attached as well. On Sept 13,2023, Major Rocket LLC (aka Launching Deals) sold me ************************* Windows 2022 via ******************** for $34.99. This was supposedly 80% off of the regular price of $249.99. I received an email from *************************** It stated that in order to download the Adobe Reader (free to all) in order to complete the setup. Once downloaded, no further instructions/assistance was available. It seems that I was miss lead by this fraudulent purchase. Im requesting a refund from this company and waiting to see if theres a positive outcome. iD.me is a legit website, and in reviewing their partners, it seems that theres no indication of either LAUNCHING DEALS nor MAJOR ROCKET LLC are affiliated.Business Response

The company claimed to be selling a lifetime license to **************** fo *****. They claimed to have sent the license code, but the attachment was not included. I contacted support and they said to wait a few hours. I contacted them again and they said to wait a few more hours. A quick search of the internet shows that I am not the only one that has had this issue. The advertisement was sent to me via email from the company ID.me. On September 8, 2023, Major Rocket LLC (through ************ ***** sold me a fraudulent **************** Lifetime License for $39.99 with Nift gift card #**************. This amount was supposedly 82% off of the regular price of $219.99. After the purchase was made via Venmo, my bank account got charged but I did not received anything regarding this purchase (confirmation email nor product key to download the software). I've tried emailing ************ where I got the coupond code from, they sent me an auto respond saying they will look into it and I never heard back from them. On May 12, 2023, Major Rocket LLC (aka Launching Deals) sold me a fraudulent **************** 2021 *************** Lifetime License via Groupon for $49.99. This amount was supposedly 80% off of the regular price of $249.99. I received product key QFNBV-C343X-RWWWK-7BR49-MHB2W. It was listed specifically for Macs but would not load on a Mac. Upon notifying the company, I was asked to "try" a second product key, which was 4CGWN-9TGV7-RCVRH-9QFK6-GMWCW. The second product key also produced an error message which stated documents could not be edited on a Mac. This appears to be a data harvesting operation under the guise of selling ********* licenses, which don't even work. At the time of my purchase, there were no reviews available. However, I can now see that others are having the same issue.Business Response
