Orange theory is fun for a while depending on the club and the teachers but its not really geared toward anyone who has any physical limitations. Its ridiculously expensive for the redundancy of their workouts. I have found them to be extremely greedy and unkind when I had to go out for a medical reason. After taking a few months off and still on a membership freeze the freeze ended without warning and that very day I was charged the monthly fee. They would not remove the charge even though it was a medical issue. I started another freeze but my doctors said its not a good workout for my condition. I told them 30 days before my freeze was to end and they said ok but we charge you for the last month. For what???? I cant use it so why??? Theyre honestly just greedy pigs. Find a better place where they have a heart.

I gave Orange Theory 1 Star because it did not give me the option to give ZERO stars. I was a long time member, since the studio opened, in ******/Edgebrook, **. The studio is 7 out of 10 times hot and has "HVAC" issues. After trying to address some very rude interactions with one of the studio owners named ******, she was completely rude to me. After trying to escalate my concerns and how dirty the restrooms always are with a different owner, after fees were raised, ***** decided to strip me of my membership and told me I could go workout at another gym. On top of that, the Studio Manager made false accusations of me stating that I called her a B****, after she just sat there with me and shared baby pictures of her son. She also accused me of having bad interactions with other gym members, also False. On the contrary, I've made friendships since joining. When I told ***** this was absolutely absurd and to tell me who I supposedly had this type of behavior with, he declined to share. I told him he was accusing me of something that was not true and I deserved an explanation, he refused to explain. The coaches there are amazing, it's a shame that the Studio Manager, ****** and the Studio Owner ************** are a terrible representation of the OTF Chain.

I have been a member with OTF for the past 2 years. My overall experience with the coaches have been well. They’re encouraging, engaging and I found most of the workouts beneficial. My issue is how the company is ran and the poor customer service I’ve received at 2 OTF locations. At these 2 locations, certain membership costs were not well explained to me and I ended up paying either more than I expected and for a perk that my premier membership should have covered. I am still waiting for a call back concerning a refund but I feel like my concerns have not been honored. The poor customer service has greatly cheapened the OTF experience; it is not worth the price members are being charged, especially for the continually inflation. There seems to be a heavy rotation of managers at these 2 OTF locations, which brings new “promises” that I hold very little confidence in. I really just want my money back that should’ve never been taken in the first place, as was promised. I look forward to my membership ending this month and moving on.

The music is too loud and damages hearing. I found the place okay and the people friendly. I went at my own pace and felt I benefited from the workout, but I cannot understand why the music is played at such a high volume. The science of hearing is well established and any professional would tell them that that the volume level is damaging hearing. I find it out-and-out painful. Why not cut the volume in half. I do not find the excessive noise motivating in any way, and will try the class one more time using ear plugs. If that does not help, I will have to quit, just to preserve my hearing.

Customer service is poor, I’ve been a loyal customer and even advocated for OT to others in the past. Today, I showed up to a class 5 minutes late and told I wouldn’t be allowed in. Orange Theory gyms aren’t on every corner, they take time to get to, anyone who understands what being human is gets this and that sometimes life happens that puts you 5 minutes behind…to turn a loyal client away from a paid class that takes no addition effort to allow in the door because of one time being late is an atrocity. Being charged for it is borderline unethical, have some level of compassion and build a community not a money grab Orange Theory…

I cancelled my membership within the 30 days notice and was told by the manager in ******, ** that she would charge me for the next month anyway. We counted through the days together to prove that I cancelled within the allotted time and she said it still didn't matter. I also sent a letter to headquarters asking for their assistance with this and never received a reply. This place is a joke. You can follow the rules and they still do whatever they want and the customer has no recourse. They must make a lot of extra money charging customers an extra month ($172) after they cancel.

Terrible experience. I was dealt with very unprofessionally and rudely by a staff member at the ************** studio. Another staff member apologized for the rudeness of her coworker. I emailed 2 managers and the **** Never heard back from corporate, the manager claimed she would get back to me which never happened. It was a matter of how I have been treated there, not about breaking any rules. Staff claims they care but they dont. Fake and unprofessional. Not that great of a place either for workouts. There are competitive business now that incorporate cardio and weights alternating different days. I switch to their competition due to their unprofessional behavior and inaction. You lose business one costumer at a time.

Since I was moving out of state I canceled my membership in writing with 30 days notice as required and have the confirmation from OTF showing my membership canceled but they have continued to bill for over a year to the tune of more than $2,500. Called and was told I have to speak to the manager who was it a meeting. I have yet to receive a call back. Left a second message and still no response. There is no way to get in touch a corporate office to resolve this. Worst customer service ever. ************************* scam.

Very very greedy people. Terrible front desk, very stubborn and arrogant. Not at all member friendly. I reached late for a class first time for just 5 mins because of an accident and they didnt let me in the class saying its in policy. At the same time they charged me for a no show class. So we dont attend the class also but pay for it.. I requested them to atleast let me in. But they didnt budge. We are not paying such a premium membership fee to tolerate such unprofessional behavior. Their every class ends atleast before 4-5 mins of scheduled time even though you claim it to be of *********************************************************** your policy then please dont play with our time and money. Your every class should not end before 60 mins then. Please learn some customer service and adjustments for situations which we cant control.

I would rate lower than this if I could. I am what was a member at the orangetheory in Dothan Alabama. I had no prior knowledge that I had to physically go in and sign a paper saying that I was canceling membership. This studio has proceeded to charge my bank account over $1,000 in a few months. I contacted this studio they said oh well we figured you were still coming even though you haven't used your membership in 4 months. I was then told that yes we will refund you all of that money since you didn't know. They have now proceeded to say they cannot do any such thing and I am still being charged in February due to the 30 days cancellation thing. I do not recommend this to be your fitness center at all. This place is a total scam
