      I filed a claim and paid deductible on July 3 to service my refrigerator! They sent claim to a provider that no longer works for them and l am still waiting on my refrigerator to be serviced. I have been told twice l would get a call back and l am still wait! Horrible customer **********************.

      I signed up for ***** home service, which is linked to this service. I have been paying ***** plus tax for over 2 years. When I called last week for a repair they required $100 deductible up front prior to scheduling, then informed me no service providers in my area and they would send out a request to see if they could find someone, they could not and then said I had to find a service provider that would work with them. I feel this is fraudulent. With paying that much per month, Im paying them so I dont have to figure out someone I can trust. I cancelled my request and service, but payed them close to $1500 for nothing.

      I wouldnt recommend, renew or refer Cinch Home warranty Services to anyone. They denied claim, without proper consideration refused reconsidering and wouldnt allow me to dispute to higher authority level of management (representative said he was a manager and was the highest level I could speak to and I would not be transferred any higher). Denial reasons of AC claim were very vague and I was informed, because case was closed, I would have to reopen and pay another $150 deductible for any additional dispute/appeal review. I Honestly thought because the deductible was so high they would provide better quality service to their customers; I was thoroughly disappointed with no recourse for help.

      My AC is going out and is 18 years old. So R22 coolant is discontinued and any coils and parts are no longer available. Unit should be replaced. They are denying the claim stating that the coils outside have been damaged per one ********** opinion who sent me an estimate for him to replace at $7400. The second ********** sent for a second opinion said it was west and test and age of unit.**** in authorizations denied the claim. The second ********** sent had him on speaker and **** just flipped out when he realized I was present. Three times yelled the call was being recorded and I had yo accept the disclosure. I said I cant agree if he could not explain the disclosure to me. All I asked for.I requested an escalation and he just kept repeating the call being recorded and say yes or no for disclosures.Looks like I am out up to $7500 . HOWs should be more regulated.I will never have a policy of that type again.

      I give it one star because it will not allow me to give zero. After being a paid member for several years, I needed their help when my **** unit stopped working. They toyed with me for over ****************** the end deny my claim. I caught them three different times outright lying to me. I signed onto the service because they stated they either Fix Your issue, or replace the piece. They came back And referenced some sub paragraph in their contract that allowed them not to pay based on my drain, not being installed correctly. But my drain was installed correctly according to city and state codes 20 years ago. Cinch Home Warranty abandoned me when I needed them most. And why did it take them over two weeks to tell me my claim was denied? At one point, they told me they were ordering a part that would take 7 to 10 days to come in. At the end of those 10 days the claim was denied. All of this time I had To find somewhere else to live To work with a timeframe that Cinch Gave me. Their call center is a joke. It was outsourced to another country a few years ago, and when you call them, they provide absolutely no help. There, great reading, preapproved, scripts, and thats all. *** now Canceled my subscription to this company and purchased a new HVAC unit. Something I couldve done weeks ago had I known they would not cover it. Now I have to wait two more weeks for it to be installed. Leaving me out of my house for almost 5 weeks! How did they get out of paying by saying something was not installed correctly when theyre comparing it to what codes require now? If thats their story, then nothing would ever get replaced! What a rip off!

      This review is of CINCH HOME SERVICES with corporate offices in **********, **. This company is the worst I've ever had to deal with. I believe they're in the business of scamming homeowners and not following thru with claims and making it extremely difficult by giving us, the homeowners, the run around the entire time. I filed my claim over 3 months ago and it is impossible to get someone on the phone. The emails generate a "Do Not Reply" response only. It has been utterly disgusting this business is accredited by the Better Business Bureau. The number of complaints against this company in the last 3 years is enough for them to be shut down and all the customer money returned back to the customers. I think it's imperative the ******************** look deeper into the practices of this company and do a full investigation as to what kind of business they're really running. They have no problems collecting our monthly premiums but when it's time for them to help us (which is the whole point of buying a home warranty) they are almost impossible to deal with because you can't reach anyone.

      DO NOT USE! There are no checks and balances to mitigate serious service issues. There is absolutely no management presence or concern. There is no accountability. A 3rd party outsourced customer ********************** company that operates globally is WORTHLESS and cannot handle service issues. No company can stay in business by ******* off their customers. I have gone half the summer with no air conditioner and it still is not fixed. To call their outsourced customer ********************** over seas requires a workaround and rigging of their voice prompts. Seriously. True story. They are a complete joke.

      Cinch has had my business for years and they have had an opportunity to repair my air conditioner/HVAC that was not working correctly. The system was not working so I called them two years ago, the unit worked and stop shutting off. I notified Cinch again and they sent out additional people to repair the system. After the fourth repair, the system began smoking and it was suggested to Cinch to replace the Air handler/Furnance unit inside the home. Cinch said they never spoke with the service provider and send out another service provider. The unit again started smoking and had to be taken apart, by the technician. Cinch informed me they had no.t spoken with the service provider and the provider had not sent in paperwork. They repeated that explanation three more times. I still do not have a resolution to the problem and this is going into three years. We have been under numerous heat advisories and freeze warnings and I now also have a busted pipe that must be replaced due to no heat in the home. I would be decent of them to provide a resolution to the problem.

      Air conditioner ***air requested 5/15/25 after hours on a Thursday. First they offered an appointment 8 days out knowing the temperature in our home was 85 degrees. After pushing and reaching out to their ***air service provided it was diagnosed on Friday 5/16 as a bad compressor. Cinch refused to authorize the compressor, ***air service came out on 5/22/25 reassessed and said it was something cheaper. The ***air was performed on 6/4/25. on 6/30/25 the air conditioner went out again. **************************************** contact with according to the customer ********************** *** at ********************** is the "highest rated service provider they have in our area". Temp in house is hanging between 80 and 85 degrees. Looking at our online account the previous ********************** request was logged as being made on 6/3/25 and was still listed as open when we called to ***ort the failure. So their system is not accurate, the ***airs are not quality, (lasted 26 days) and the service response time is dismal. 3 weeks for first band aid patch and unknown time for this second call.Not worth it, should have reduced the house price by the $540, put that in the bank to pay for the ***air with a company of our choosing. Sorry to be misleading by giving the one star, but there is no option for no stars.

      If it was possible to leave negative starts they would have them. The absolute worst customer ********************** as well as the ability to resolve any warranty issues. Save your time and money and look elsewhere. They give you the runaround telling you they will call you back and never receive a call back.
