worst home service ever. DO NOT enroll.charged separately for each item in a service ($150 for each). when something big (AC etc) broke down, the service technician will no show even after paying $150 deductible.

We have paid 4 years for a home warranty with Cinch. Mainly due to the fact that we have an older HVAC unit. Our HVAC unit was not cooling properly, so we contacted Cinch to have a service provider come that would come out to look at the unit. Due to the fact that it was an older package unit, Cinch had no service provider in their network for our area that would come look at it. So we were told to find a service provider on our own. We found a very reputable ************ to come out for a service call. The **** company discovered that there was a leak and the Freon level was low. Due to the age of the unit and R22 refrigerant being phased out the unit cannot be repaired properly. The only way to correct the problem is to replace the unit with a new one. After staying on the phone with Cinch for almost and an hour & 30 minutes we were told that they would not cover any costs towards a new unit because the **** company that came out was not in Cinchs network. So, because they dont have any service providers in our area that will come out to look at the unit they will not assist us towards getting a new unit. This is completely unacceptable and therefore we are filing a customer complaint review.

Cinch is stalling my service on my gas range. I reported a gas leak to ************ on June 9, and they said to have the orifices replaced on my range. Cinch sent out a technician from Moon Star Appliances 3 days later. The tech took apart the stove, and said it needs a little more than that. He said not to use stove until he comes back next time. A few days later, a tech from ER Appliances shows up and puts the screws in the top, but not through the burners, as supposed to. He said don't use stove until next visit. A few days later another tech shows up from ER Appliances and shows me the wrongdoing of the last tech; then tells me he will make it right at a later time, and not to use range until then. I get no response from ER, nor Cinch. Then Loudoun Appliances texted me, but I can't get through to them. I am 87 and soon to have heart surgery, and can't fix properly prepared meals in a microwave nor grill out. I pay Cinch Services a monthly fee; and paid $150 up front for all this aggravation. I am ready to sue Cinch and be reimbursed for this waste of time and go-nowhere phone calls. I contacted a previous technician, who worked on my range a few years ago, and he may come to look at it, but suggests that I may have to replace the gas range, after whatever the other techs may have destroyed. Where do I go from here?

I filed a claim on or about June 22 for my a/c. I received a text, that Sears Home Warranty will be there June 25. On that day I received a text from Sears, that they could not make the service call. I had to reschedule for the nearest date of July 14. I have no a/c and we're in a heat wave. Cinch Home Warranty did not provide me with another service provider.

I have been with this warranty program for many years. My ** refrigerator has broken every other year. Yes, I know **'s are awful! This time I have been without a refrigerator since March due to cancellations by the sub contractor. It was fixed 6/24/25 and 2 hours later it broke again. It was subbed out to someone different because I did not want the same person and the new sub contractor laughed at me and had no idea what I was talking about, yet I had a text with a scheduled appointment. So I called the warranty program and they told me that I may get a phone call in 24 hours or by Friday. This has been an on going problem with this ** refrigerator and the warranty company for years. Each time I schedule an appointment, I take a day off of work without pay for them to only cancel or reschedule. Yet, they have absolutely no problem charging me every month for their program. Let me also be clear that yesterday, the person who worked on my refrigerator explained that he was required to take pictures of all of my appliances throughout my house. ***** you are only working on my refrigerator so snap those picture all you want." Very uncomfortable and awkward. Especially since my washer and dryer guy is someone totally different and who was recently at my residence and did not ask for pictures! This company does not care about their customers. They are about their money and I have contacted the local news in my area as I am tired of getting the run around from a corporation with no compassion for hard working people.

We had our AC looked at in September due to insufficient cooling. The guy came out and spent 15 minutes looking into our Cooling system, he didnt check the temperature coming from the vents or from the filter. He told us to call ***** to get the coils cleaned. If we needed the coils cleaned you shouldve cleaned them right then and there. The policy is after 6 months or 180 days if you its still not working you can make another complaint. Well if yall know the season changed to fall/winter from October to February so cooling wasnt needed. So we had the heat on. You just get the run around saying pay a new deductible instead of actual help. As soon as I find a new home warranty place I will be changed warranty places. Totally unacceptable.

Completely disappointed since they allow the claim to be opened online even if the service is not covered and collect the non refundable deductible. It happens with me when technician showed up to tell me that the spring of my garage is not covered. Also in the service agreement is stated that attic fan is covered and they opened a claim when I called the phone to report that my is broken. The next day they called me to inform me that it is not covered despite that it is specified in the plan. I tried to schedule AC routine maintenance in June but the online service told me that it is outside of the season and can not be scheduled despite I don't see any information when it can be scheduled. I consider this service more of a fraud than a real service and cancel my subscription.

My fridge stopped working / freezing 4 weeks ago. I filed a claim with Cinch home warranty , they charged me $ 100 deductible. My food spoiled. Week later ********** came stated there is a leak and put the freon and left. Week later fridge stopped working again after Freon leaked.again all my food got spoiled. I reopened claim and again waited for a tech . Second ********** came week later, diagnosed that fridge needs to be replaced but warranty company told me that tech told them he had no tools. They arranged again for 3rd tech came out.this tech stated compressor went out and that he will be back when part is here. Yesterday , tech company called me and told me that in order for them to replace the part i need to remove fridge from the house to the yard as its dangerous to replace compressor in the house as it could explode. And refused to come. It seems Cinch is trying to avoid paying money to replace the fridge. I am paying my bill for warranty for years now and i am very frustrated that i can not get any help. If i dont get a help i have no choice but to file a suit. I will cancel my warranty once this issue is resolved and would not recommend anyone to use them. The Worst experience, worst company ever. *****

I am leaving one star because it is a required field for a review. When I was growing up and even when I started my family, ***** was once the best company to purchase appliances and repair those purchases. Products were good; employees were trustworthy; repair service was top notch. Today, Cinch Home Services DOES NOT even stand by their own warranty. When you hold them accountable, they buckle every single time. They replaced a part of my range; one function triggers something else - a hazard by any means. Tech told us he recommended the unit would be replaced and we have not heard from them. I had to initiate reopening the case for nearly three weeks on the next steps and until then, crickets. They kept putting me on calls for the appointment that had occurred...yes, really like being in a twilight zone. It has been pulling teeth to get this company to uphold their part of the service agreement contract. If you need a second opinion on one tech's job, then say that but DO NOT play games with mincing words and sending customers on a chase to execute the contract as written and paid for in the "agreement". I have to take off from work to be home and the tech with heavy accents DO NOT either understand what is being said; ignoring the customer because they have a script and are being told to follow that no matter what; just do not care; or all of the above. You CANNOT expect a robot to interface with human beings for good customer ********************** to fully understand the situation. Some of the techs referenced DO NOT seem to even have a ounce of understanding the customer. Someone needs to investigate this company for potential fraud and abuse of customers.
