If I could give Cinch zero stars, I would. I have never worked with a less competent company or people who cared less about who they hired or the quality of work they do. I made a service request on 7/11/24 for my washing machine; they sent a tech from AR Appliances two days later. The tech decided it was the electric panel, left, and came back a few days later with a second tech. They replaced the panel and left. It wasn't fixed. In fact, it was worse. They came back, messed with the panel, ran the washer, and broke the belt that turns the drum. They said they had to order another part and left. That was two weeks ago. I still haven't heard from AR about what's happening - it's been over 3 weeks. They don't answer the phone, they don't respond to voice mail, and they haven't even sent an email explaining what's going on. I've called Cinch for updates, and they keep telling me to be patient. In my last call, they told me the part might be in Saturday. That's FOUR weeks from when this nonsense started. I asked to cancel the service with AR and get someone new. Nope. They ordered the part so I'm stuck with them. I asked for my $200 service fee back, nope. Since AR has been here, they won't refund me. No refund for a failed service call, lack of communication, and breaking my washing machine beyond the original request. Unbelievable. Bottom line, if a friend recommends AR Appliances or Cinch, take it from me. They're not your friend. Run as far and as fast as you can from both of them.

I have had **************************** Home Repair for several years. They have repaired my washer and dryer. I replaced older appliances and did not file claims. My dishwasher had a burning smell and I filed a claim. They company who came out to check said it needed a new part, a few days later they said I needed replacement of the dishwasher and it was approved to replace within several days. The day of installation, two guys came out to deliver and install a new dishwasher. One checked under the sink and said the valve was leaking as some water sprayed out. They said I needed to call a plumber and replace with a new valve. I was told once the plumber comes out for me to put in another work order for installation. However, CINCH's website wants you to pay another $100 every time you file a request. So I called CINCH and the agent did some checking and said the guys could not come back out. After holding for twenty minutes, the agent stated I could have $100 to pay someone to install and they could either do direct deposit or send me a check. I opted for a check but it takes 7 to 10 days to receive. I called the company that did the initial diagnosis and they would install but would charge $150 and knew of no one else who would do it for $100. Now I either have to pay out of pocket after already paying a plumber to change the valve (not cheap and the plumber stated the valve did not leak and was not bad, he changed it out anyway). I believe the two installation guys fed me a line to get off work early. Therefore I am giving CINCH a poor rating for not completing this job and poor payments to contractors who made excuses to the customers so they don't have to do the work. They fed me garbage about a new work order to come back in 48 hours. Now I have to pay more out of pocket for work that should have been covered by the home warranty. I am looking for another company and so should anyone who has CINCH.

They PROMISE to repair or REPLACE any non-working item in their published contract. They refused to reimburse me for purchase of defective toilet, claiming FALSELY that the contractor said it had been repaired!

JOKE. They find it acceptable to do an hours work in 15 days. Obviously they cant figure out how to fix a refrigerator. Customer ********************** needs to get off the scripted line and actually help.

Last year the ** stopped working on Friday after 5:00 pm ,the 24 hour service line wasn't working and told us to contact them during normal business hours Monday through Friday. The service tech company the website assigned for emergency repairs would not be able to fix the ** until 3 or 4 days later. Had to go out of pocket for an emergency repair for air conditioning. They've given us a ton of excuses why they couldn't reimburse for the repair it's unacceptable that you would have to wait three, four days in 120 weather to get an air conditioner fixed.

This company has hired the worst service providers none to man locally Ive ever seen. We are now over a month without air upstairs. Cinch communicated that we have full furnace coverage for our unit yet the service provider said they will only fix the condenser and evap coil even though the entire unit will need replaced. Its a 30 year old unit. Cinch has extremely long call waiting times and works with service providers under multiple names or works with companies that have 0 star reviews online. This whole process feels like a scam and this company doesnt deserve to stay in business.

This place is a scam they dont tell you about the $120 fee every time you need a repair on top of the $54 they get every month and then after I cancel the account they still charged my bank $54 a month This place is a nightmare and they are out to get people on false pretenses.!.

It's over 106 degrees in ***** and we've been without ** since Tuesday. The customer ********************** level for this company *****. I was told by the ** company Cinch would not cover my ** compressor because it was under manufacturer warranty. I called the manufacturer and the warranty expired 2 years ago, now Cinch is dragging its feet on approving repair work. The repair company and I had to do the leg work contacting the manufacturer and Cinch to confirm the manufacturer warranty had expired. I've had Cinch for many years and do not plan on renewing my plan, this is ridiculous and by the looks of other complaints, this is standard practice for this company.

A ZERO is way too good as a rating for CINCH, unfortunately, NO STAR can be given so a one star is mandated. We called for a refrigerator not cooling and the earliest "appointment" was the following week. OK, the coolers come out and the Dry Ice is bought. We salvaged what we could. The tech came and as the part was not available, it had to be ordered. Another week before the part is in and an appointment can be made. Part put in and it's working, or so we thought. Now the OTHER fan was spinning up and stopping, spinning up and stopping. Another call and another week till an appointment is available. Tech comes and since the part has to be ordered-another week. True, it's a month now with a refrigerator not working. Part comes in and ANOTHER WEEK for a tech to install the part. GREAT!! It's working or so we thought. Now it won't stop and the refrigerator has become a FREEZER. Called and the *** CONTRACTOR needs another service ticket with CINCH to come out. They didn't even get the old service ticket closed yet but REFUSE a failed service recall!! On the phone for hours with some offshore call center for the 'service company' then hours with Cinch "Customer **********************" which I believe is in a call center down the hall from the service company somewhere in the ************Customer ********************** at ********************** is less than abysmal. The old saying "There's a sucker born every minute." is the sales motto for Cinch.SAVE YOUR MONEY and the eventual aggravation. It's not worth it.

I am requesting a refund for the $150 deductible because I have twice paid this amount only to have them have to come back because the job was not performed correctly and the leaks are damaging my property. It began with a service company not performing a job completely leaving out a part that subsequently caused a leak. Unfortunately, the leak I was calling about was not what he fixed (he fixed previous service company's job) so I still had a leak causing 1 cap every few days. So I called again and again explained it was still leaking. The same service man came out and said yeah it's leaking in the wall behind your toilet but I don't deal with mirrors and tiles. He told me to contact Cinch. I called Cunch the person told me that that serviceman was wrong we will send another guy same company weds 7/23 8-4. No one ever showed when I called they said the person who scheduled that made a mistake. I was also told the $150 deductible could not be refunded because that pays for the service call. I oay almost $100 a month plus the deductible but if the service provider did the job correctly I would not need to call and pay $150 again. It is now a joke plus the 1st service provider damaged my sink using a sawzaw and I wasn't even making a big deal he scuffed up my pink sink and now I have black gauges in a sink from 1958. The new service guy took pics. My request for $150 refund has been met with we dont refund if tech comes out. But that's the cost of doing business if the tech didn't do the job correctly the 1st time. I will be looking into other service plans because the service has been declining since Total Protect was bought out . I had 2 plans including 1 for an income property so I am familiar and not just complaining for the h*** of it.
