    yes I purchased their plan and it never worked. I contacted to company trying to seek out my refund I keep getting the run around they said they're going to email me I respond to the email I still haven't received my refund. they are basically ripping us off and taking our money

    This is an unauthorized charge as my debit card was stolen and account was hacked. I have emailed the business on several occasions with police reports and also informed them that I didnt authorize this charge it was not me who set up an account and proceeded with their services. This was all fraudulent and I have asked the business to refund me my money that was stolen without my consent for a service they provide. As I have told them over and over again my next step is filing fraudulent charges with my bank and getting ready to start a lawsuit on this company. I am asking them to refund me anything that is charged from my debit card as it was not me.

    Shortly after resolving the complaint the company refunded me the 45.99$ on 3/27 today I check my card statement on 3/28 and they charged my card again for 45.99$ intentionally after processing the refund illegally. I did not authorize this they committed fraud by taking my card information and going behind my back without my knowledge and recharging my card shortly after resolving this issue with BBB.

    On March 5th 2024 I googled how to find an inmates commissary account . **************** popped up on my search, I went to their website & was immediately prompted to sign up by making an account . I added all of my information & was prompted to add my card info which I did thinking this was for keeping my card on file for my new account (I was not informed of any charges or asked approval) to access inmates commissary. After entering my information I hit continue at the bottom to be taken to the next page . I immediately received a notification through my bank for a charge in the amount of $49.99 from this company . I went back to the page again to see how I missed approval for this charge or what this charge was even for & found nothing . I immediately emailed this company with no response , I sent two more emails & still nothing . I called customer ********************** multiple times with no answer . I finally spoke with an agent on 3/12 & explained how misleading their page was, I have no use for their service (apparently this $45.99 is for discounted inmate phone calls) I requested a full refund . She told me they would refund $30.00 but not the full amount . I told her I was contacting ************************** said now youre not getting any refund, we will wait for BBB or your bank to contact us ************ is SCAMMING people out of their money .

    Misleading information as.the company falsely provides jail calling service. You think it's the very similar company Globtel link which is in fact.a jail calling service and once u sign up thinking your just gonna add funds they automatically charge you ***** and you still have to register with a jail calling service that still charges for the call just as it normally would. Once.u realize this and contact them they refuse to refund your money and it clearly states on the home page if you have any trouble they will refund u the whole amount pain for service. They tell u they will review the claim.but not to contact your bank because they know nothing about the review. Whem u do speak to them they refuse to refund the whole amount and charge u a ***** fee just because they mislead you. Bad bad business and very misleading as to what your actually signing up for...as.they name.clearly states global tel..with out link. If u try and reach the email of the ceo as it states on the website u get a 404 error ans states you were blocked

    I'm satisfied with full refund if they actually hold true and refund me the other ***** that they refused to offer in the first place...but I would also like to ask for them to at least not advertise false information...for example on the sign up page it list the name of the ceo and an email directly to him which intentionally blocks any emails from being sent and in return you get an error response. It's misleading and inappropriate.

    Globaltel.com is a complete fraud and misleading site. It posses as a site to get to talk to a family member incarcerated, but in FACT it automatically takes $***** from your bank account, without permission and does not perform any services needed to be able to work for an individual to communicate with family member incarcerated. Globaltel.com is a fraud company, they don't give complete refunds for the service they claim they provide. Globaltel.com say they can give me a partial amount back, well if they take ***** and want to refund $30.00, that shows they SCAM $19.99 from each individual for them, THAT IS REALLY SAD. They are a SCAM, it took me days to finally get someone on the phone to tell me I can have a partial refund. The charge happened on January 16, ****. This site does not give an option of packages, it takes that money instantly and screen went blank with no way of changing it. This is really disturbing that company's like this are in business to SCAM money to profit themselves and not provide a service to help, unfortunately in a time in need to be able to communicate with a family member that is incarcerated.

    I am rejecting this response because: The site did not display price or check list as it says. I was not even done with reading site and it charged my bank INSTANTLY, very upset and disappointing to have someone do that kind of thing. I am mad at myself for not looking at company review before going on site. I'm on a fixed budget and to have someone steal money from me was very upsetting. This site should change their name so it doesn't match the official site that helps people with incarcerated family members. That is what I will be happy to see.     I signed up for membership services to video chat with my daughter. My daughter was incarcerated over the weekend, and I wanted her to know I knew and would notify her job of her unforeseen absence. On 10/8/23, I was instructed by ******, ** jail, to set up a time through the service to request a video visit. I was told to enter a payment method. There was no disclosure of immediate charges. I was immediately charged $49.99 and had not even selected what service I wanted to purchase. I never got to contact my daughter. When I attempted to send her a postcard for .53 cents, I was directed to a page saying the page was down and to check back in one day. My Daughter is only being held for two days and is only 18. I wanted to let her know I was aware of her situation and offer my help. I never was able to do that and was unlawfully charged. They refused to refund the entire amount. Instead, they are keeping $14.99 for processing, which never transpired. They are scamming inmate family and friends, and this needs to stop. They need to refund the total amount, not a portion, as they did nothing to justify those charges.

    Yes, I paid ***** for a service that I did by accident call back the same day this was all July 3 and told him I got it by accident and wanted a refund and they said well this is gonna cost you **** to get to cancel calling the same day all I want is a finally canceled today. As of July 18 canceled it they wouldnt before but charged me $14.99 they gave me $31 back after fighting with them for days. I still want my $14.99 that they owe me that I didnt use their service at all from day one and they were very difficult to work with

    I ********************* purchased minutes on telephone number ************** for ************************************* on July 10th, 2022. In the amount of ***** with the card ending in ****. He was at the facility Charleston County ** ** ************************* where he is now. He wasnt able to call me so requested a refund as of August 15, 2022 at 4:42:31 pm. Way before the account expired I called and sent an email. However, I never received a response back. I would like to put minutes on my phone number to receive calls from him now. With the refund or credit that is owed to me.

    I was on their website trying to fill out their a forum to apply money to my son's account while incarcerated... The person who was on their personnel on their site instantly drafted $45.99 out of my account without me permitting them to do so... There's no way I would have agreed to deduct anything from my account without knowing what exactly what it was for... This website is fraudulent and misleading to the public and consumers who have loved one's incarcerated... What a shame for this company to take advantage of the vulnerable and weak... Now I have called their customer support number and left numerous messages as well as left emails... I want all my money back and they need to be investigated for performing illegal transactions with people who have loved ones in jail... Shame on you and you for allowing it... I want every ***** back immediately back into my account... THAT'S THAT...

    I searched for Globaltel and and the suggested company on top was what I thought was the company to talk to my son who was in jail. I immediately realized it was the wrong company when my card was charged ***** when I tried to register an account. The site never asked me to approve my card for that amount. There was no mention of the charge. My phone notified me of the charge instantly. I have been trying to call the company, search whois for the site owner... to no avail, I have tried to get my money back. I only had 5 bucks left in my account and could not talk to my son for another month. I am disabled currently and this is a scam site that preys on a widely used service that people need to talk to their loved ones. I have sent several emails and still no answer back. The company phone only tells you that they will get back to you and leave a message after a month of calling. I am appalled at the audacity of these people who are acting like they offer the service because of the similarity and have a service no one is ever going to use to get free money for a service people do not even need. I wonder how much they get away with really.
