    I created an account on their website thinking that it was globeltel on March 10, 2023. I instantly realized it wasn't globeltel when it showed a page stating they had a package for $49.99. I exited the website and went to the correct globeltel. They instantly charged my card $49.99 just for creating an account. I never selected to make a purchase. I contacted them by phone and email immediately and they said they could only refund $31. I never made the purchase. They charged my card without my permission. I only created the account. Now they want to keep $14.99.

    On February 26 2023 I was provided the company Global Tel Link to set up a calling account for my brother while he's incarcerated in ************* ********** of Corrections. When looking up the website Globaltel was the first listed website when I clicked on it,it informed me I could set up a calling account that provides unlimited calling from a correctional facility of my choice for 3 months for the low price of $45.99. When I made the purchase I was provided a temporary phone number that my loved one could call and it could give me cheaper calling for collect calls. That's not what I intended on paying for. I was misled to believe that I could put my phone number in the system and my brother could make calls to that number. I still haven't been able to speak with my brother. These people took the last of my hard-earned money and provided me a phone number that will never be answered. When I left a message I got no response I've even reached out on email still no response. This place has misleading services and needs to be looked into immediately because if they got my money that easy imagine how many other people it has happened to

    On 5 December 2022, I was told to sign up for ************. I was told IC Solution had update, so when clicking on what I believe is ************ in the description. Afte putting in my information, I notice a charge to my card immediately. I tried to call and contact by email when I noticed that they are not ************. My account was charged $45.99. This site is misleading. I immediately sent a email informing then to cancel, close the account and ask for a full refund because I never authorized the charge $45.99. I received a email back stating that they wanted me to stay with them and I continue to state the website is misleading because it have you believing you are signing up with ************ as though they are 1 company. Inhave never used the service and asked to cancel a couple minutes after hit submit and it charge my account. I don't want services and never did with this company and they are doing false advertising. When contacting ************, they stated they would never charge the account when services have not been used. They stated they are not afflated with GlobalTel and they are false advertising.

As long as they do as that have stated in their response that they have cancelled the account  and refunded or cancelled charges of the $45.99.     On 11/17/22, I was looking to set up an account with global tel LINK to speak to a loved one in prison, when I put it in the search bar this one popped up and I assumed it was the direct prison call system I put in my information and hit confirm and never told me it was charging me then I got a receipt saying that they charged me $45.99, I immediatly contacted customer support asking for a refund they refused saying that terms and conditions blah blah blah. This is a scam and I see that I am not the only one that had this issue, something needs to be done about this, I will not accept a $31 refund. I want my full refund of $45.99 returned to my card immediately

    I was looking for connect network gtl in order to add funds to a family members trust fund. I was accidentally told to sign up with ************ to be able to do so. On the landing page it request that you put the name of the jail and your personal information. On the bottom of that page is says next, appearing to look like you are just setting up an account with them. On the following page it request the same information but in addition to your credit card information. I thought it was weird but because no where on the page did it state anything about it charging any type of money I proceeded to enter my card information but put the wrong exp date just in case. I have screen shots and screen records to show the website did not specify it would charge your card automatically. I wouldve never signed up to begin with. When I received a fraud alert from my bank thats when I realized they had charged my account. I contacted them right away and demanded a full refund since I never gave them permission to charge my account. They claim their fees are on the page which is completely false. Since then they have stopped responding to my emails when I sent them photos proving they are either wrong/lying.

    August 1, 2022 GlobalTel I thought I was only setting up an account for inmate calls. However, as soon as I submitted the info I received an email with a receipt for $45.99. I had not agreed to pay for anything at that point. Within a minute of receiving the email I was on the phone with customer ********************** requesting a refund and was told that a refund could be issued less $14.99 for creating a phone number to use and I couldn't talk to management because they did not take calls. So I emailed management and was told the same thing, So I am not satisfied with this at all. I would like a total refund. I also read some of the reviews left on the BBB website and I am not the only one this happened to. I think the company's website if not the company uses very deceptive business practices.     I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is PARTIALLY satisfactory to me. I would like to make the suggestion that the business website should include an option to approve purchase so that this doesn't continue to impact future customers. I read some other reviews and this has been an ongoing issue with the website and some of these families couldn't really afford the $45 charge.

    On 07/16/2022, my account was charged $45 without confirmation of fees for services that promised inmate calls be made to my phone number. When trying to reach them by phone after finding out that I couldn't receive calls, I was routed to a voicemail each time. Several complaints from the reviews, most weren't refunded their money either. These complaints date back to 2015 or further.

    On May 26th@10:40am, I accidently purchased a plan from GlobalTel for $45.99, which I never wanted. Once I realized my mistake, I immediately canceled online and called with nobody answers at 11:26am May 26th, and got email that said number was canceled. I emailed the company explaining what had and asked for a refund. I received an email back May 26th saying that the special jail number that was given to me was cancelled and within 48hrs they would email me their decision on my refund and if they decided to refund me that I would see the credit in my bank within 5 business days. i waited 5 business days. i contacted them again on 06/04/2022 asking again about the refund. I got an email back saying contact customer support and do not contact my bank.. . I logged into my account and again asked for another refund by cancelling my account again. it automatically said special # canceled wait 48 hours decision and i would get my refund in 5 business days. I decided to dispute transaction through my bank. My account has disappeared, the email with receipt vanished but I have the ba k transaction and the email still shows canceled number. I have called 11 different numbers, same recording, no person answers and it hang-up on me. I emailed and called another 12 times on June 6th 2022, same as others. On June 18th, 2022 I've left message, and got an email for $31 refund, $14.99 fee charged. I never used this and serious 40 minutes im charged $14.99. Worse scams I've come across. I want my full $45.99 plus took this long, I am not happy at all and will warn others because 2 other people had same issue. In one of these emails it's a response to someone I don't even know but addressed to me. And they can't find my acct after they just did.

    On June 3rd. 2022 I was looking for a way to communicate with an inmate. So I'm looking for global TEL link and the first thing that pops up is Global TEL and the application, I feel it's misleading to myself and a lot of elder people that are already under stress, and just wanting to speak to their loved ones. The amount was ***** and for the first couple of days I still could not talk to my loved one although on the account it was taking used minutes. When I found global TEL link I signed up and had no problem connecting with my loved one. All I want is a refund.
