I cant say enough about this company. The installers noticed some plumbing leaks when they were working under my house and informed me of that. I really appreciated that and had a plumber come out right away. They could have just installed the new vapor barrier and left. They were patient while I got the plumbing fixed and came back at a later date to finish the job. I was provided with pictures when they were done. I highly recommend Florida Anchor and Barrier

5 starsWe used Florida Anchor and Barrier in Largo Florida recently and while there was a small interpretation issue with what we expected and what was provided, it was explained and quickly sorted out to our satisfaction. The knowledgeable, friendly staff and customer service were a pleasure to work with. This company did not provide services and materials as stated on the contract. I called multiple times and they try to tell its installed correctly, but I had and insurance inspector tell it's not. They sent someone out to correct it, but he didn't and now I have my floors coming undone due to moisture. They didn't replace the insulation or provide a moisture barrier. Because they are not required to be inspected by the county they can get away with it.Florida Anchor & Barrier Company

Everything stated on the contract has been completed as per the quote dated on August 8th 2023:
Complete Vapor Barrier Installation:
- Removal of Existing Damaged Vapor Barrier
- Removal of Falling, Damaged & Moist Insulation as Required
- Replace with R-19 Insulation, Square Footage: 400 sq ft
- Installation of Threaded Vapor Barrier, Tab-Nailed to Floor Joists
- Spray Foam Around Pipes & Fittings to Insulate
- Re-Strap Duct Fittings & Wrap Trunk Line
- Install Styrofoam Lift Blocks
- Re-Tighten Anchor Ties if Possible
- Replace Broken or Missing Leveling Shims
- Remove and Reapply screeningVapor barrier and insulation under the home were installed properly. The photos prove that this was done, and we have subsequently been to ************************ home to address her concerns. In the photos that the she had questioned, there are some reflections and areas where the barrier is bent along the I-beam to ensure that is sealed correctly - The company manager had previously explained this to her over the phone while both of them looked at the photos. Not sure if her insurance inspector crawled underneath the home to visually inspect the job, or if they are familiar with this service that our company has provided for well over a decade, but if they have different findings they are welcome to contact us to discuss.
We are willing to go back to the customer's home yet again - We can send someone out next week (May 2nd) to visually inspect both the underside and the interior of the home, and talk to her about the issue she is having inside the home, which seems to be an issue with the finished floor.

Very happy with their work. They were professional and did all work according to the quote which was fair and competitive. I would recommend them. They leveled trailer, replaced barrier and insulation, and braced software spots on the floor. Would use them again.Florida Anchor & Barrier Company

I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, quality of work and friendliness of the staff. They arrived on time, explained the work to be done and got to it right away. They cleaned after completing the work and asked if I have any questions or concerns. After I received an email with the pictures of the finish job underneath the home. Great job. I have a very low house and the workers had to replace all the vapor barrier. The workers we very had workers with what they had to work with. They were also very respectful and got the work down in a timely manner.Florida Anchor & Barrier Company

This team is wonderful, They know the business well. I have used Florida Anchor 2 times in the past 5 years. After the Tie Downs were installed I was told by my Insurance Inspector that the System install was superior quality. The quote provided was exactly what was invocied at completion.
