Florida anchor and barrier told me my under home insulation was wet and needed replacing after Ian. When they came to remove insulation only about 1/8 th was actually damaged. Last fall a company had replaced about a third of it at a cost of 4000 dollars. So they ripped out good insulation and wants me to pay for there labor of ripping it out when it did not need it

We had a moisture barrier installed 3years ago by Florida Anchor and Barrier -cape coral office -and were completely satisfied with the installation. They recently returned to inspect and make adjustments as needed per our request after having hvac work done. We are again very satisfied with the prompt and courteous response from Greg and Sean and the installation crew led by Brian that performed the repair which came under the lifetime warranty. I highly recommend them.

I hired this company to replace some insulation and vapor barrier on my mobile home. In at least 3 conversations, I asked that they be certain to put the skirting back on and use the screws that hold it in place during storms. This is really not a difficult task, to put it back the way it was before they accessed it. Verbally they said of course! Actually, they only put screws in when I was out there to watch. The skirting they replaced before I was out there to see blew out during Tropical Storm Nicole. Very disappointed.I also received no call back when I called to complain.

On July 6, 2022 Greg came out and gave us a price to replace our insulation & vapor barrier for $6450 for 1288 sq ft. After calling several companies & hearing about a cash discount I called Greg back to let him know we were still comparing & asked about a cash discount. Greg called his office & got back to me with a price of $6100. I scheduled for FL Anchor & Barrier for July 26, 2022 to replace the insulation & barrier arriving between 9:30 - 10 am. They did not show up until almost 11 am. There were half a dozen workers here for almost an hour, most of them standing around on their phones doing nothing, when whoever was in charge rang my bell & told me it would be an extra $2100 to do a complete tear out and replacement of the vapor barrier and insulation. He said the contract was for only 400 sq ft. I showed him the contract with the price Greg had given us (if I could attach a picture of it I would) and that there must be some mistake, as the contract said 1288 sq ft and a price of $6100. He called the office & after hanging up said there must have been a misunderstanding, the new price would be $8200 for the job. I told him we would not be doing the work today & I would call Greg to work this out. Greg said the contract was for a rip out of 350 sq ft (discrepancy of what his office said of 400 sq ft) and that a job like ours would typically be $10,200. I said I would call his office and get back to him. He said, well they're not going to tell you any different so you might as well keep talking to me. After some back and forth, Greg said he would call the office to see what they can do. He called back and said they would "be generous" and do it for $8,000. I said I would let him know, as I was too angry to argue anymore. The office called a few minutes later & wanted to know what to do with their crew, I told them I did not want any work done & I thought they were very dishonest company & wrong for not honoring their contract. THIS IS A VERY SHADY COMPANY!
