      Never gave permission to remove funds from my bank account and never received any phone call to start this service so I need to cancel this immediately and never remove funds ever again out of my bank account

      They are scammers. Called them by accident and they pretended to be Synchrony Bank (who’s customer service number is just one number off from theirs). I was attempting to activate a credit card and ID Guard asked for my personal information and my bank routing number and account number. No ethics. Not good people. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

      ID Guard LLC has hacked my checking account. They printed a check with my name, address, and phone number as well as my bank routing number and account number.

      I inadvertently called the ID Guard company when I thought I was calling another business. I gave them my banking information, which the business I was trying to call already had, so I didn't think anything of it.. I have called three times to cancel and I get the run around each time- have I received the introduction package, I can cancel after I get the introduction packet, etc. and they have taken $3.49 out of my bank account. I want this cancelled, I do not want this service. Please help me cancel and have this stopped. Thank you.

      This response is an error. My brother had nothing to do with this. I want this service ended for me, I want to cancel this. This business is out of Sheridan, WY 82802 Please have them stop this swrvice and cancel the account. Thank you.

      This business and two others, Savers Club LLC, and Doc Chat LLC, which I believe are all run by the same group of bad actors. Upon review of my business bank statements after being asked by my bookeeper, I came across three (3) recurring monthly charges in the form of preauthorized "checks": Doc Chat LLC, 5/8 Charge $39.95, 6/6 Charge $39.95, Savers Club LLC 5/7 Charge $41.27 and 6/5 Charge $41.27, ID Guard LLC, 4/5 Charge $3.49, 4/30 Charge $44.99, and 3/30 Charge $44.99. All with very similar account numbers and customer service numbers. These charges totaled $255.91. I first called the Doc Chat LLC 888 number and the person who answered ended up referring to all 3 companies when I asked who they were and why are they debiting my checking account? The person started to explain about all 3 companies and was trying to convince me that I signed up for these services. I just told the person how to make these stop, and the person "cancelled" all 3 and gave me a confirmation number. When I asked for a credit for all these charges, the person said they can't do that because I was given the opportunity to cancel during my "trial period." The odd thing was that they had my business checking information including business address, but the mobile number was my personal one. I told the person I'm very sure that I do not give up my business checking information for anyone not in business with us. After cancelling my account to stop future debits, I requested a credit for all the charges. The person couldn't do that because apparently, I "signed up" for it. Again, going in circles. I am most careful of scams and this one certainly is one I'd warn you about. To this day I don't know how I ended up with these companies.

      I am filing this complaint on behalf of my mother. I believe she was taken advantage of by this business and two others, Savers Club LLC, and Doc Chat LLC, which I believe are all run by the same group of bad actors. I have had to take control of my mother's finances as she is elderly and no longer able to do it on her own. Upon review of her bank statements, I came across three (3) recurring monthly charges in the form of pre authorized "checks": Doc Chat LLC, Charge $29.95. Savers Club LLC, Charge $31.27. ID Guard LLC, Charge $34.99. All with very similar account numbers and customer service numbers. These charges occurred between September 25, 2023 and March 4, 2024, totalling $420.03. When I called these numbers to cancel the accounts, all three had the same hold music, and two of them were answered by what sounded like the same person, who put me on hold for 7-8 minutes before the call was disconnected. The person who answered the third call attempted to offer a free gift, which I refused, when I requested to cancel the account. The person then informed me that they were already aware of my calls to the other two businesses, and proceeded to cancel all three accounts (so they claim) with a cancellation number. I will be filing the same report for the other two "businesses", if possible, not to recover the money, but to get the information out there, to hopefully prevent other vulnerable people from being victimized. Thank you.
