I unenrolled on August 29, 2022. I still get calls every day from UMA. Each time I speak to them they ask why I decided to unenroll, when I tell them they say they will put it in their notes and I should stop receiving calls but that hasnt happened. Ive blocked the number but it doesnt work since its somebody different calling you every time. Very annoying.

Spoke with a rep from financial awareness and he says that because now I graduated that the money that I was going to receive and 3 different reps said I would by 8/4 said it will all go to Ima this should have been told to me and not after the I've waited this whole semester and he said I never requested for a stipend in which I did and someone deleted my request I'm sure because I asked numerous of times for another laptop the one they gave me completely went out, my student advisor sent me over to financial aid in regards and they said they never received my request. Had me to amend my taxes in which I owe irs $4,000. And uma is refusing Lu to compensate me. And being told by 3 reps that I would received aid but never did. How is this fair? He said Miss **** you won't be receiving anything from us, I'm really hurt how they've done me. I really would like actions to be taken against them. I have also reached out to ceo of UMA but no response.

    Dear Ms. ****,

Ultimate Medical Academy ("UMA") received your further concerns from the Better Business Bureau ("BBB") on 8/23/22 about an additional loan fund request and a stipend you anticipated receiving on 8/4/22. We take all student issues very seriously and appreciate the opportunity to respond.

We apologize if any information was not clear about the additional loan fund request you were working to submit after you had finished your UMA program on 6/16/22.

If there were any additional loan funds that could be approved, these amounts could only be applied to any remaining charges on your student account. There was no longer potential for you to receive a stipend check after you completed your UMA program.

Please feel free to reach out to UMA Student Finance team at XXX-XXX-XXXX if you wish to further discuss.

If you have any other questions, email **************@ultimatemedical.edu.

I attended and graduated Ultimate Medical Academy, I obtained my Medical Assistant Certificate. I only went to UMA because I was told that they will help you find a job in that field. I told them I wanted to work with seniors at a nursing home or hospital. They found me a job at LensCrafters as a sales associate and told me that due to not having experience I would need to stay there a year to get the experience. This all happened in 2015 and it's now 2022 and I still work in optical. I was get outrageous amounts of calls over the years regarding my balance with them and don't feel it's right they made these promises and is not holding up their end of the bargain but I'm expected to do so. Something needs to be done!
