    Flo Energy is a scam outfit.Avoid like the plague. If they come to your property 'begging', tell them to EXIT IMMEDIATELY!I called and cancelled the contract w/in a 3 day right to cancel. Apparently, the higher *** didn't get the message, because TODAY (12/28/22) I received an email, which they claim work was performed.They claim that I owe them $2783.76!

    We sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings or inconveniences you may have experienced. When entering into an agreement with Flo Energy, there is a legally binding contract that provides a three-business-day grace ****** for cancellations. Unfortunately, the cancellation you made was well after this grace ******. After the initial three days, any actions taken on the account, such as engineering and permitting, result in incurred costs on our end. We don't charge fees as a penalty, but to cover the expenses already made towards the project. We aim to be transparent with our customers, and it is never our intention to surprise or inconvenience anyone. We would be happy to discuss this matter further to ensure clarity and resolve any outstanding concerns.

    I want u to stop soliciting. Half of your reviews are from an automated bot,half of the other reviews(the bad ones) are real customers that u deceived. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU!!!

    2.All of our reviews come from genuine, verified customers who have successfully been installed and have received PTO through us.

    My panels were installed in August. I had to send in forms ( that they didnt do and were hanging outside in the inspection packet ) and also set up final inspection. Its now November and I have made my first payment with solar system still not connected. I have had no response from the company. This is now costing me money.

    They came to my house, all I wanted was a price quote. That's it. Something I can use to think about, compare with other companies, etc., you know, make an informed decision. Nice guys, but used a very deceptive system of getting you to say 'yes' when the answer isn't yes just yet. The gentleman (whom I don't fault, but his manager I do, who he double checked with) stated they were just going to do a soft pull just to make sure, IF we did go through with it, we could get financing. I wasn't really wasn't to sure about this, but I went along with it as he said his manager confirmed its a soft pull. It wasn't. It was a hard inquiry. A hard inquiry that I did not approve of. So now I have a hard inquiry on my credit that I did not intend to have there. Now, on to their selling tactic... they are buy it now or forever hold your peace. Sure, I can cancel the service before they install the panels, but I'm not at a point to say yes without further research on the company/products/services/etc. vs. other companies out there. While other companies have given me the full quote run down so I can think about it, their tactic is very simply you say yes now, or no, and if they come back, who knows what the pricing will be. They even through in a "we will pay for your first year for free" as a "save the sale" tactic, which that's a nice bonus, but again... this is not a spur of the moment decision that can be made for something as big as solar. So now, I have a loan I was approved for, a hard inquiry I didn't want, and still back to square one as if they didn't even show up to begin with, just now with something directly effecting my credit.

    My apologies, I feel like I need to make a second comment to clarify the events that took place. It wasn't JUST a hard inquiry, it was a full on opening of a credit account.Sunday October 23rd, 2022, 4:10PM - Email from Credit Karma "A new inquiry was just added to your ********** credit report."Sunday October 23rd, 2022, 4:11PM - Email from **************** "You have a new alert. A New Credit Inquiry Has been reported."Sunday October 23rd, 2022, 4:12PM - Email from Georgia's Own - ***** Sub Org, received copy of documents to review/sign for solar loan.Sunday October 23rd, 2022, 5:17PM - Email from ************ "There has been a change to your ********** credit report. Heads up: a lender requested a copy of your credit file."Tuesday, October 25th, 2022, 10:26PM - Email from Experian IdentityWorks asking me to review a new credit alert, "New Inquiry detected on your credit file", Change: New Inquiry, Reported by: **********.I then had to call this credit union and have them shut the account down, explaining this loan was NOT authorized by me. I do also have the name of ******* who came out that day, I still have his card.Thank you.

Please ensure you have the correct company in mind.If you had actually read what was said, it would be very clear I am not one of your customers. The bottom line is this, you as a company either use shady bait and switch tactics, or at the very least employee folks that make sales that way. Both not a good look. So 110% this is the correct company who came into my house, did a hard inquiry on my credit, when multiple people, including a manager/supervisor whom was called to confirm this, swore to me it was just a soft pull. It wasnt.I will gladly send you proof of the hard inquiry, as a person who has worked hard to build their credit, and having multiple services monitoring it, I have the receipts of the hard inquiry. Plus the fact that it shows up on my credit report.Please, coach and use this as a training opportunity, as this was either done by ignorance, or what I feel, they knew what they were doing.

    Individual sales person was very deceiving when they presented telling me he was here to change out my meter for the new one that should have been changed like 2 years ago. I told him electric company handled that & no notice was received. He acted surprise that I didn't know why he was there. I told him 3 times the electric co handled that and then he said, "Well, it's only solar and can save you money." That's when I told him, "That's not how you presented it & can go onto your next house 'cuz I'm not interested now." He clearly was misrepresenting what he was trying to sell me, as he continued to pitch his sale as a walked away from him. He wasn't rude, just a typically salesperson. The issue I really had was the misleading representation, lack of introducing the real company he was representing & not taking no for a response on the 3rd time. We are actually looking for solar panels but won't be using this company due to the shady 1st impression.
