    DVCheck rules! They provided all the documents proper for my Inherent Diminished Value Claim. Sadly Insurance company adjuster, supervisor and Vice President (acting as Manager), were laughing ignoring the evidence and not taking my desire to work out vs taking their driver to court seriously.
    Once the their insured driver was served with Notice to Appear in Court, I guess the insurance company above responsible officials 'sobered up' and their company attorney made me an offer more than twice their so called final offer. And of course their attorney accepted my counter offer as they chose not to litagate case. DVCheck had them yield in more ways than one and for less money than my hiring an attorney! Of course I went Pro Se to small claims court.

    I'm glad I was recommended this service. They got me 7 times more than the initial offer from the insurance company, which I stupidly just accepted for another couple of previous fender benders. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, and support normally followed up quickly with any questions that I did have. I did end up invoking the Right to Appraisal clause and Jim took it from there and reached a good deal with the insurance company. My only feedback is that they should advertise better, I only found out about this through an injury attorney.

    My advice, if you receive an offer from the insurance company take it. I ended up paying 500 in fees only to get what the insurance company had offered initially.. Don’t be lured by the high estimates provided, you will most likely not get that and will have to wait longer to get your money.

    In North Carolina, you have 15 days to reject the umpire's $4,000 award on your diminished value claim if you find the ruling unsatisfactory. We can then continue assisting as you resume negotiations with the insurance carrier.

    They did not do a good job of proving my diminished claim. They did not use cars with similar miles etc so I did not get my claim. Then there guaranteed is only good if you file a claim in small claims court and are ruled against and they know that the average person will not pay to go to small claims court and have a major insurance company like State Farms lawyers go up against you and you would have to defend yourself against them. So the guarantee is actual BS! I would not recommend and would never use them again!

    Thank you for sharing your feedback. In terms of the vehicles cited in the appraisal, the J.D. Power book values were ran per VIN for each vehicle taking into consideration mileage, options, and regional location. Because our appraisals are backed with market data, some insurance companies challenge the data, rather than paying their claims fairly. It’s unfortunate that you elected to give up on your claim, instead of holding them accountable in court and allowing us an opportunity to testify as your expert witness. There’s nothing BS about our refund policy and you were made aware of the terms prior to purchasing an appraisal. It explicitly states that we will refund the appraisal fee if the court’s award is less than the appraisal fee itself. If you elect to take that step, we would be happy to assist in any way that we can.

    I used this company in high hopes of assistance negotiating my DV claim. Every time I sent them a response from the insurance company, they emailed me a generic copy/paste reply. The insurance company never budged on the initial offer. Once the insurance company stated the offer was final, DVCHECK said even if I went to court they would not honor the money back guarantee because I received a settlement offer, though this offer was in place prior to them being hired. This just screams scam and now I am out of $350 and back where I started.

When dealing with an difficult insurance company, small claims court is the most effective way to recover the full amount of your diminished value.     We were hit last summer on I95 North. Fortunately we were not physically injured at all. At the time we were driving our motorhome, towing our Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep sustained quite a lot of damage in the accident; however, it was totally repaired and we are very satisfied with the work. I didn't know anything about diminished value until a friend mentioned it. We live in Florida. I found DVCHECK on the internet. I am absolutely positive that we would not have been able to collect any diminished value without the professionally prepared appraisal performed by DVCHECK.
