July 29, 2021 BJs wholesale club has a scam through a corporate called FHIA LLC named Florida Home Improvement that has customers signing off on home completions during home inspection. When in reality the windows are not complete the customer is unaware that the company has a past practice of defrauding customers by not providing home screens for the windows. There are numerous complaints on the BBB website of this practice to defraud and scam customers with the same thing. So Buyer Beware Buyer remorse do not sign off on the work as if it is done do not get pressured into signing paperwork or documents as if installation is complete when it is not. That happened to me a field manager pressured me into signing papers that the work was complete and the window frames where still opened and the inspection was still to be done. The screens till this day never arrived. Once you sign this company will go full power to get their $15,000 payment. So you will be paying for something the seller promised upon day of installation but you will never get it which is theft of services. I place this complaint to BJs wholesale club because they allow this to happen to their valued customers and should be made aware that they are frauding and scamming their customer along with ******************** LLC.Business Response

FHIA installed our windows and French doors and they came with a "lifetime" warranty. One of the doors has a failed seal. The company came out and took a look at the door and agreed to replace it. They let us know that it would take a couple of months to manufacture and to call back to see if the door had come in then. This was back in October 2020. Well, it's been almost 2 years... 2 years, and this door has not been replaced. Several times we were told that the door was in, but then each time they came out, the excuse was the same, "They ordered the wrong door, theyll have to order it again". The first time was in January 2021, then, in early April of 2021 we were told that the new door was in. On April 19th we had an appointment to have the new door installed. However, we were contacted that day to let us know that the new door was not actually in and to expect it in another couple of weeks and to call back. We called back in a couple of weeks but did not get a hold of anyone and no one would return our messages. Finally, we got a hold of them, and they sent someone out, and, you guessed it, they ordered the wrong door. We've been calling consistently since then and leaving messages, with not a single call back in return. It's now August 2022, the excuse of manufacturing delays due to COVID is in-excusable. The same excuse "We ordered the wrong ************** times... has worn thin. This situation has left a bitter taste in our mouth. We shouldn't have to jump through these many hoops to have a simple warranty claim honored. I would have preferred to not have to go through this route to have our door replaced, but it seems like there is no other way to get their attention. I'm hoping we can finally get this issue resolved.Business Response

I was previously employed with FHA in 2019 and was temporarily laid off due to COVID my then manager ************************* terminated during that time stating the company was moving in a different direction. I ignored this wrongful termination and moved on. Prior to my termination I had a 401k with the company that when recently on July 14th attempted to process a withdrawal they stated the 401k was moved from **** ******* to empower. However, when I reached out to both companies neither have knowledge of the 401k. I attempted to reach out to FHA to locate my 401k but the HR refuses to respond to any email requests or respond to my calls. So I have $614 in a 401k that was taken from my paychecks that no one can locate.Business Response

Good morning *****,
As we discussed on the phone, we are in the process of changing 401K providers which caused blackout dates. Once the transition is completed you will be able to allocate the funds how you seem fit. I will send you the communication once I receive it. I have confirmed your email and have provided the link to the new 401K provider so you are able to create an account.

We hired FHIA to install hurricane impact windows and a Therma-Tru door. The install date was April 12 2022, the inspection was May 5th, 2022, and the windows failed inspection. We were then told that the engineer had to revise the permit that has already been issued. The reason why the windows failed was because they didn't install maul bars that are intended for impact windows. That detail was in the original permit that was revised the first time and the contractors overlooked that when they did the install. The inspector pointed that out to me in the permit therefore FHIA intentionally had our inspection fail. We paid them $8,840.00 in full. FHIA is making empty promises on when the job is to be done. We had a reinspection and finish date of June 23 and ************************************************* even call to say why it was going to get done on those days. When we inquired, our calls went unanswered and ignored. Our original "field supervisor" was not on the job but 2 months and then we were told she no longer worked for the company. When have obtained a new "field supervisor" but only to be treated the same way and being told the same excuses over and over again? That the engineer has to revise the permit or some letter. At this point we are fed up and tired of hearing the same excuse. How long does it take an engineer to revise something? We are going on over 3 and a half months since original install date. This is EXTREMLEY UPSETTING and not to mention UNACCEPTABLE. I demand that FHIA be held accountable and have their A+ rating stripped. Clearly, we are not the only ones to have issues with FHIA. The complaints and reviews I have read, speak for themselves. My husband and I would like the job finished because that it was, we paid for. FHIA is incompetent and has no transparency, no one should hire this company ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Business Response
