Prime Recovery calls incessantly. They call my cell, my job and emails. This company even sent an email to my email address but addressed it to my employer asking if I am employed there, how long I've been employed and my pay rate. This is harassment and it needs to end. I am disputing whatever loan they claim I owe and I want the constant attempts to contact me to stop immediately.Customer Answer

This company claims they are calling regarding a debt from 2018/2019. When I stated I did not know of any debt they got loud and wanted to overtalk me. They said they had my birthdate and social security information and I said my information has been stolen so many times that does not prove anything. They have no proof and is sending out letters asking people where I live or stay. So, I call and they just keep me on hold.Customer Answer

This is a debt collection company that has harassed me regarding a debt from over 6 years ago. The debt was originally sold to another company but they never sent verification of debt per the Fair Debt Collections Practice Act. This company, Prime, has contacted me and also refused to send verification of debt. Additionally, the companies are contacting my family members and I have asked them to stop. I believe this debt was included on a bankruptcy yet the company will not leave me alone. I want the account closed and the debt written off.Business Response

I received an email from this debt collector claiming I owe The check cashing store $1200 dollars and now they are handling my case. I went to The check cashing store which I have been a client for over 10 years. They were shocked and confused as I was with this email. The manager called the corporate office which also confirmed I DO NOT owe or have NEVER been in collections!!!! This is a Fraudulent debtBusiness Response

On April 2, 2024, my father notified me about a voicemail left by a representative named ****** from Prime Recovery LLC on his phone. The message was intended for ***********************************, mentioning paperwork for potential judgment and garnishment. Concerned, my wite called ****** on April 3, 2024, questioning how they obtained the number. ****** replied that they conduct research. When asked about the matter, ****** mentioned a collection from ****** My wife clarified that the debt had surpassed Florida's statute of limitations and was not collectible. ****** insisted on the debt's validity, stating compliance with the ****** Prime Recovery LLC has violated multiple laws when it comes to debt collection! ****** violated my privacy, she is attempting to collect on a time barred account! The last payment was made was in 2018! I live in the state of ******* and that is the state that the alleged debt was made, which is 5 years! My privacy has been violated! This debt is time barred! I have a recording of the voicemail of Prime Recovery or BBB will send me with an option so I can upload it for verification purposes!Customer Answer

I was contacted by email about a debt settle ment and it would be reported and taken off my credit report, after settling the debt and was sent a letter , its now showing that I still owe on my credit report a balance of $244.00. This company called me about some old Co-Pays from my Dr. who Retired, when I said that I would be happy to set up an arrangement, but first I need documentation of the debit and their possession of the account on company letter head sent via **** mail, the representative **** said, Well we just gonna mark this as refusal to pay, they then blocked my number from call in, but have continued to call me every day 3 times each day to wit I cannot get a rep on the phone because it hangs up every time I press the prompt to be connected. They call RIGHT BACK 2 more times. *** spoken with the retired doctors accountant and have made them aware of this. They knew nothing of the before hand.Business Response

Received 4 emails about a debt I owe, that I do not owe. I need someone to reach out directly to me to resolve this issue. I dont recall having no such debt. The email itself was in my spam folder, and the email I received has an address listed for *******. I need this account dismissed as I have no receipt of having a debt to a creditor. they wanted me to click a link and verify information such as HR and payroll services. I received a call on 8/22/2023 from ************. Then 3 calls & a voice mail 8/23/2023 at which time I blocked the 727 #. I received a voice mail from the same # today 9/6/2023 even though I'd blocked the#. I don't know this company, never heard of them and don't owe anyone an outstanding debt. I believe this company is trying to defraud me. I want them to stop calling and leaving voicemail!
Addition to initial report: now I'm receiving a text that PRC is a debt collector for the check cashing store which I never use. I have a bank account and never use checks or alternative banking services. I'll be checking my credit report to make sure no derogatory statements have been made.
