DO NOT USE! They dont know what they are doing and everyone that worked on our job blamed everyone else for numerous mistakes. The Job was supposed to be finished in 3 days. Started in May and they still havent finished my companys breaker panel rewire. They left the job without labeling the breaker panels for a 120k sq ft. *********. Now They dont answer my phone calls. Save yourself the headache and call anyone but Lickety Split!!!

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction regarding services provided by your company, Likety-Split, on June 26, 2025. My concern specifically relates to charges levied without a prior quote, despite my explicit request, and the subsequent exorbitant amount billed.I contacted your company to request a service to resolve an electrical issue. During that initial contact with customer service, I paid for the same day service call in the amount of $189.00 by phone.Upon arriving at my home, I advised the service responder that I needed a quote for any work or repairs that would be done before initiated.I explained that some electrical was working, but my stove, water (well), and A/C were not. He entered my house to make an initial observation, took his computer pad, and was only in the house for approximately 10 - 15 minutes. Just enough time to check voltage at outlets, if that. My mobile home is only 864 square ******* that time, the city electric service company, Okefenokee Electrical Company, arrived. They spoke to the service man and let him know that the outage at my residence needed to be repaired by them, that there was no need for him to be there. The service man then told me that I would owe $401.00. This amount is significantly higher than what I would expect for the minimal service performed. Needless to say, I was very upset and could not afford that. He stated that he would then call his supervisor to see if the charges could be modified. He came back to me with an adjusted amount of $295.00, which was still not justified by the amount of time he was there, and the fact that no repairs commenced. The invoice states that I agree and acknowledge that I have reviewed the invoice, understand, and accept it, etc and agreed that all work was completed. AT NO TIME was I given the computer pad to sign anything! This is NOT my signature! That is fraudulent.

They came out Friday night, thankful, because my AC wasn't cooling. They diadnois that I had cooling leak. They charged me over $1000 to run a leakage test and added freon. After all that I had to pay upfront for parts and labor to have it fixed, parts still under warranty and I would be reimburshed.... They were suppose to come Sunday afternoon and I decided to get a second ********** to come out to check my AC system again. They didnt find any leaks in my system, I called and cancelled my appointment and they said they would refund me my money. It's been 2 weeks and everytime I called I'm getting the run around. I'm a disable veteran and dont being taking advantage of... I got my credit card company involved and hopefully I dont have to file a claim with the courts.

Absolutely predatory and unethical I contacted Lickety Split for a basic HVAC tune-up and thermostat installation. I was upfront about needing my own thermostat installed, and they didnt tell me until after they charged me that I had to use their thermostatfor over $300. I reluctantly agreed, only to be told shortly after that my ducts were in such bad shape I couldnt go another week without replacing themat a cost of over $20,000 for a home under ***** sq ft.After I said no, they "did me a favor" and dropped it to $16k. I still refused. Then they pressured me again, telling me $13k was the best they could do. At this point, they had me sign documents on a tablet while reading them to me, not allowing me to actually review the terms myself. They then pushed me to get financing for $15***** though the invoice showed $13kand took the full $****** a single mother with a toddler who has an autoimmune disorder, they used fear tactics to corner me into thinking I had no choice. When I found out they took more than the invoice amount, the Vice President, ***** Cairo, texted me with zero apology. He refused to help fix the issue with the lender and instead offered to cut me a checkthen ignored my follow-up messages until the owners were "conveniently" out of the office and unable to sign the ******** top it all off, I was belittled and harassed by *****, who called me a ***** for demanding accountability for the money they manipulated me into handing over. This company is dishonest, high-pressure, and exploitativeespecially toward vulnerable customers. I would never recommend them to anyone

Working with Lickety Split was a roller coaster. While ***** and the other repair people were knowledgeable the experience started to sour when the "Swat Team" showed up for high pressure sales tactics. Sayed was beyond unprofessional making comments to incite worry as he was doing the inspection. I called this company to check the damper which I thought was faulty. I had to ask over 5 times for them to check it and sure enough it was bad but only after trying to sell me on replacing all of the ductwork in the house. Then getting service people out to actually do the service was a nightmare. They failed to complete everything I paid for on the first visit. The next day the service manager called and tried to gaslight us into believing the service was done correctly. After we proved it wasn't he begrudgingly sent the team out again to finish the job. Of course this was after they had us sign the certificate of completion for the loan, which we did thinking the service was done and after finding out it wasn't they refused to redact my signature. We also paid for a duct cleaning which I had to call again about for them to actually come out and do (and they rescheduled that to another date on us as well). However, I will say ******, ******* and the team that did the work did a great job but the customer service was horrible. They are great at taking your money but you have to hound them to follow through on the work. I will not be using them for service in the future

We are filing this complaint to warn others and seek accountability after a troubling experience with Lickety Split. What started as a routine AC maintenance appointment quickly escalated into high-pressure sales tactics and a push for an unnecessary $20,000 duct replacement.During the visit, the technician noted minor mildew and static pressure differencescommon and easily addressed HVAC issues. However, he insisted our entire ductwork needed to be replaced, citing alleged dangerous bacterial growth, without offering any scientific testing or third-party validation. No written quote or scope of work was provided, only vague verbal warnings and exaggerated health risks. Under pressure, and fearing for our familys well-being, we agreed to proceed under what their contract labeled as an emergency service.Once work began, it became clear the severity was grossly overstated. The removed ducts showed no hazardous contaminationonly typical surface mildew. A neighbor with professional construction experience confirmed this, stating the ducts did not warrant replacement. We paused the work and tried to contact Lickety Split for clarification. After delays, a supervisor deflected responsibility, and we received no meaningful answers from management. We then obtained multiple second opinions from licensed HVAC professionals. All disputed Lickety Splits findings and said the pricing was significantly inflatedby 40% or more. They also confirmed that no legitimate health threat was present.Despite repeated efforts, Lickety Split has not offered a clear explanation, itemized billing, or resolution. We believe their conduct is deceptive, fear-driven, and not in line with ethical business practices. Consumers deserve honesty, transparency, and fair treatmentnone of which we received. We urge BBB to investigate and hold this business accountable. We also hope this serves as a warning to others

We contacted them to do HV** work on our rental property in ************. The service call was only $49 so they they did some diagnostic tests. The tech called back and told us that a test they did was inconclusive and they needed to do more extensive testing. I did give the error code on the thermostat but they never mentioned that. The more extensive testing would cost more but it needed to be done. We asked how much approximately, then the tech got mad and said, what you don't believe me. That is an indication something is not adding up with him. We asked to speak to the supervisor and he said basically the same thing and we asked again for the price and after a third time he said it could be hundreds up to $2,500. I couldn't believe they couldn't figure this out since they went through this hundreds of times. We told them that we are getting a second opinion and he got madder. He even told the tenant that we don't want to fix the ** unit. We called a different **** company and they immediately found the problem and resolved it for under $200, including the service call. I would not recommend Lickety Split for any service work.

Buyer Beware Our experience with Lickety Split was extremely disappointing and felt predatory. We scheduled a $49 A/C tune-up, which quickly turned into a $2,000 bill for coolant, a UV light, and other upsells. After a static pressure test, a supervisor arrived and told us our ductwork had failed and urgently needed replacement. The initial quote was $6,000$7,000 but suddenly jumped to $21,000later discounted to $19,000. We were pressured to sign on the spot and pushed into in-house financing, which we later learned was a secured loan tied to our home.Once the paperwork was signed, we contacted other companies for second opinions. All quoted between $6,000$9,000 for the same work. We requested an itemized breakdownnone was provided. Their pricing lacked transparency and felt inflated. When we voiced concerns, we were promised a call from their VP, *****. When he finally called, he was unprofessional, dismissive, and even mentioned legal action, though we had made no such threat. His behavior was shocking for someone in leadership. We were also asked to sign off on the job before it was completed and were uncomfortable when a technician was told to photograph our signature before we clicked "submit" on the paperwork.Between the pressure tactics, lack of transparency, and rude management, this experience has been eye-opening. We take responsibility for not getting a second opinion sooner, but we urge others to do their research and get multiple quotes before committing to anything with this company.
