I sent my 2015 Fiat module in to National parts Distributors to be repaired for $200, plug and play as they said and get a call a week later after making several calls to them only to here it will cost me $500 more. Then I get it back about 2 weeks later and it’s worse than it was before. Now the car will barely run! They refuse to even contact me now. If you want to throw money away , go ahead and and use them!Business Response

On last Dec. 02 2022 I contacted Module Experts to fix my ECM who states they could fix or remanufacture it this is confirmed with an email #1 . He quoted by email $15 for return shipping, $149 for repair. I sent in unit and paid 249 plus shipping. on 02-10-2023. . After some days contacting company he said they couldn't fix the ecm He said as an option to give him another $1,599.00 (minus the repair cost), so we would need an additional $1,360 on top of the previous amount paid, to sell me another refurbished module which I declined. I stated I could buy another at autozone for $149.00 and he said I could not . enclosed is the different options from autozone from 112.98 to 174.99 plus core charge.
below is some of the correspondence from email from there company.
I have paid to send it back
So you are not sending old unit back?
Sent from Mail for Windows
Send return receipt.
You cannot buy this at Autozone for $149 lol. These cost up to $2,000. You have no idea what you talking about.
****
I am in receipt of your emails, Send unit back since I can buy another one at auto zone for $149.
From: **** *
Our technicians have informed me that diagnostics are completed on the Bluebird module, but this unit is beyond repair due to the issue being traced to internal circuit board damage. The board is also not able to be replaced on this module, as it is the entire foundation of the unit, so you would need to replace the unit to correct the issue. There is nothing that can be done to save this unit. It must be replaced.
If you would like, we can provide a remanufactured replacement, ileage warranty, at $1,599.00 (minus the repair cost), so we would need an additional $1,360. This would take a couple of business days due to these units having to be made to order - as they are no longer available as you know.
We can use the same card you used for the repair if you prefer. Would you like us to get that going for you?

[This is hard to respond to. The response from there company
is not true. I never seen the invoice or document that they submitted. When a
company refurbish/ rebuild /repair a Circuit board they replace electrical components
such as capacitors that go bad after years and repair. The tech technician
trouble shoots problem by testing board there is no documentation as they even looked
at it . There company says turn around time is usually 3 days but after 2 weeks
there reprehensive said the unit was fried see his emails and that I would owe
another 1500.00 to get unit back. There emails and different documents are very
ambitious and basic contract law states
if a writing is not clear it goes against the writer There company has the emails they have
sent me but even those that they said
they sent never received but I did receive some meant for another person. I
need to see all there emails that I sent and the ones they sent to solve this
problems. To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]

On Feb 3rd 2023 I requested a quote for repair of a Dodge body control module. I was quoted a price and was given an estimate for a 3 business day turn time. I paid with a CC over the phone and was given shipping instructions. Over a week later my "internet sales associate" **** * would not return my emails or phone calls. I contacted customer service who told me they shipped my module back unrepaired and I would be refunded. The email I received from **** * stated I would be contacted when it shipped so I have to assume it hasn't. I have not seen a refund yet either. The original correspondence said they have rebuilt units in stock. I tried contacting **** * and never get a call back. 2-20-23 I called from my cell and was sent to VM so I called from my land line and he picked up. He was rude and informed me that if they had a replacement I would have been offered one. He reminded me I had one that worked. I told him it was causing security issues because it needs to be programmed. He informed me you can't program one out of the vehicle. I told him I wasn't aware and he said I obviously can't help you and hung up on me.Business Response

On last Dec. 13th, 2022 I contacted Module Experts **** ******** to fix my Mercedes B. ECM who asure he could fix after I told him I had it looked out by 2 others companies. He quoted by phone $274.60, $25 for return shipping, $86 for benchwork and the rest reimbursed if he couldn't fix. He never sent me a physical quote or invoice, just a form to provide my car information. After some days attemting to contact him, he said couldn't fix the ecm and will return item and reimburse my money, always repeating that $86.00 stays with him for bench work. He said as an option to give him another $686.25 on top of the previous amount paid, to sell me another refurbished module which I declined. After many attemts of calls with no answer for many days, I received only $81.63 in my bank, instead of $163.60 and it was difficult to contact him again until I emailed him that will report him and his business to the BBB and to the Florida AG. He emailed back saying that $150.00 was to stay with him and to look in my invoice, but he never sent one, or a quote and I have forensic evidence of this in my laptop. I know I'm fighting for a small remaining reimbursement of $81.97 but someone has to put a STOP to these kind of business that are making easy money out of honest customers that put their trust in them, resulting on being robbed or scammed. I ask you to please look at all the reports this guy has against his business and put a stop to this guy for good. If I don't get reimbursed, I will still continue to post my bad experience with this business, I will post it in every media engine worldwide, I have a lot of time to do it and dedicate to this, unless your office can do something to stop **** ******** from scamming and robbing more money from customers. We are sorry
to hear of the issues this customer claims. We advise this customer to check
facts as opposed to spending his time “in every media engine worldwide.” Our
records indicate the following;
-An email
with receipt and information form was auto-sent to (******************)
on 12/12/2022 at 3:18 PM.
-We dispute
the amount this customer claims he is owed. An associate communicated the
diagnostic evaluation service amount (recorded call available).
-Additionally,
the complainant wrote about “forensic evidence” but provided nothing.
-He
claims he was told one amount, but recorded calls provide prove this is not true.
This customer
has been appropriately charged for services provided. The correct refund has processed
for the service that was not possible. Customer agreed in writing (form signed
and dated) to these charges/services prior to sending their part in for service.
No further refund is due.

I originally contacted ****.e from module experts and sent a BCM in on September 17th 2022. I tried this company again because I did use them before however the issue I had with my vehicle I was not entirely certain was the PCM they claimed to have fixed. Trying this again I sent them a BCM and stated the issues I was having with the vehicle. I was insured by a Ford certified mechanic in an online forum that after everything I troubleshooted the BCM was the most likely culprit however, it could have been the PCM. After speaking to somebody on the phone at module experts they stated to send in my BCM. I did so in on September 23rd I received an email from **** stating that the BCM was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. Having my hands somewhat tied because they had my BCM at this point I told them to go ahead with the costly replacement. I was told it would be 3 to 5 business days. This was the last conversation **** responded to after probably close to 7or8 emails and several phone calls to customer service who stated he would call me back within 24 hours each time. On October 8th my part finally arrived. I installed it to find the same exact issue I had before I sent it in. I have since made another seven or eight calls I believe two customer service who again stated **** would call me back within 24 hours. Over a week ago now I was told his supervisor would call me within 24 hours. I called 2 days ago I believe it was and yesterday and still no call backs still no resolution. I was forced to purchase a new product from another company and am over a month without a vehicle. I have offered to return the BCM they sent me but would need my original. The original mind you that should work because the new one they claim they sent me works exactly the same. I would like a complete refund including diagnosis of the original BCM for the Lost work and time spent without a vehicle. Complete lack of customer service. I have voice files of conversations.Business Response
