In July of 2023 we purchased a new camper from TravelCamp on **********. we had a temporary tag to use till August. However they said they needed an updated driver license with our correct address on them so we had all that done and sent them the copies of new license. It is now November we have yet received a tag or vehicle registration for us to use our camper. We have tried numerous times to get help from them with no success. We contacted their corporate office and was told someone would be calling us to get corrected. Thats been over 3 weeks and still no call or help from them.

In April, 2023, Travelcamp ** on Beach Blvd, promised to sell our ** for $53,750. All over the contract they write "Guaranteed Price" that we would take home. Then they list it for thousands over its value. So it sits, and sits. They provide no communication. They get irritated when we call to see how things are going and to ask them to lower the price as it is not even a reasonable price. This goes on for about 5 months, us calling, them promising and the ** sitting. It has been sitting so long that they ask us to bring down our price...even though the contract says GUARANTEED. But by this time, we just want to be done with this company, so we agree to lower it a few thousand dollars.A month or two goes by, no communication. Then one day, I get a call from a different location. He tells me that he can sell the ** today if we take another $4,000 off of our GUARANTEED price. After some back and forth, I realize this ordeal will be over soon if I just agree. Two hours later, I get a call from an excited salesperson. The same one we offered $1,000 to if he sells it, who tells me that he sold our ** three days ago. I let him know that I had a call from their other location two hours ago telling me they were selling it today. "Are you telling me it was already sold three days ago." So, it sounds to me that the ** was already sold when they got us to lower our price...which sounds like that got an extra $4,000 profit! They did a great job of wearing us down and absolutely despising the situation we got in with them. So much so that we probably would have sold it for a dollar and been happy we no longer have to deal with them. They also still owe us the ** TAG that they promised they would sent to us but has not.I am unable to upload the documents here but they are on ****** Reviews.

I bought a brand new 2023 Palomino Puma camper from Travel Camp in *******, ** on July 1, 2023. Since our purchase of the camper, half of the outlets randomly stop working. Its happened in multiple different camp grounds. This causes us to not be able to use the *** Fireplace or Microwave. We have taken it to be serviced twice and both times have been told the camper works perfectly fine and there is nothing wrong with it. The outlets go in and out when the camper is pulled down the road. Travel Camp has now been bought out by Camping World and will not help us resolve these issues on our brand new camper that we paid $33,000 for. Now we are stuck with a camper that has outlets that work only half the time because the issue cannot be found when we take it in to be serviced.

Purchased camper July 30, 2023 Insulation on the under belly is sagging and wasn't seen at walk thru. We took the camper back due to a recall and told the service department about the sagging and they want to charge $2k plus to repair it, which should be out of their pocket due to neglected valve and water being left open and reservoir.

In December 2022, I made a purchase at *********** Travelcamp. As a newcomer to travel trailers, I emphasized my vehicle's 6000 lbs towing capacity. They recommended a 5700 lbs trailer, assuring its compatibility. Upon delivery, the trailer's sticker displayed 6200 lbs. Further contact revealed their initial information was incorrect. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they dismissed my concern, attributing the sticker to error. Independent verification confirmed the actual weight at 6200 lbs.Their response was a mere 50% sway bar discount, completely inadequate given the gravity of the situation. This disregard for my family's safety is deeply alarming and highlights their lack of accountability.Mentioning legal action prompted them to reluctantly offer a sway bar and brake system for my vehicle. Regrettably, this resulted in further damage. The vehicle was returned in a state of disarray, with exposed wires, ignition problems, and hitch damage. Evidence, including mechanic statements and photos, documents the harm caused by their negligence.Fast forward seven months, and my trailer has returned to their shop for necessary repairs. Despite promises and warranties, my trailer has languished at their facility for six weeks, with no progress updates and a complete disregard for established deadlines. I have exhausted all avenues to resolve this matter, including reaching out to their corporate office, yet no response or assistance has been forthcoming. As a consumer, I feel utterly taken advantage of and left to fend for myself in the wake of their shocking misconduct.I urge the Better Business Bureau to conduct a thorough investigation into Travelcamp's practices. It's imperative that they are held accountable for their deception, negligence, and lack of responsibility. Your intervention is crucial in rectifying this distressing situation and preventing others from experiencing similar misconduct.

Travel Camp repeatedly asked us to consign with them. Getting through the paperwork was extremely difficult. After they sold our RV, we did not hear from them, and we did not receive any documents verifying that it was sold. We need a release of the lean, and proof that the loan was paid off. AFter several phone calls and being sent around and around, we were told to call the corporate office. We called on several occasions to their corporate office, and left messages. It has been a month, and we still have not had a returned phone call.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I am not referring to the credit checks for the banks. It was not necessary nor did I authorize to run my credit through two different dealerships. I purchased from the ****** **** dealership, not the ******** location (as shown in the photo attached). Therefore, the ******** dealership was NOT authorized to run my credit. I want that hard inquiry removed from my credit report.

*** ****** came in to our store on December 19th, 2022 to finance a **** ******** ******* **. She decided to not go through with the purchase despite her credit being pulled and approved already.

10 days later, on the 29th, she returned and our sales team was able to find a **** ******* ** MPG that better suited her needs. In order to secure financing for the different RV, we needed to perform another hard credit check

to see what she qualified for. She was approved again and we were able to secure financing for her, so she could drive off of the lot that day with her new camper.

After reviewing attached files, there is evidence to show each pull was legitimate, legal, and authorized.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

As previously stated, my credit was pulled through two different dealerships. Not the same one I went to. The reason why the Palomino was not purchased, was because it had water damage and I was not going to purchase a damaged unit. If my credit was pulled on December 19th, 2022 when I went to the dealership, then why was it pulled at a different dealership on December 18th before ever giving consent? This shows on the screenshot provided above from my credit report.

My ********** report shows a pull on December 18th, December 19th, and December 29th and 30th. My ******* credit report was pulled on December 19th and December 29th that aligns with what is stated above.

We originally purchased our unit in Summer of 21’. That purchase was less than desirable as the unit was delivered without being cleaned despite the provision of having to pay a “covid clean” fee at that time. There were cosmetic issues and functional issues of the chair at time of delivery.

This was all communicated to the branch manager we purchased from. He admitted that there was some failure in their team’s services. I have that email on record. I continued to speak with upper management who finally agreed to fix those issues and consign our unit for no charge due to the issues experienced upon purchase and delivery.

We were then transitioned to work with the consignment manager who seemed to continually forget that our consignment was to be free of charge due to our purchasing experience.

After this manager initially had our unit over priced despite our disagreement on that price point, he finally agreed to lower it to what we both had as an agreed price. Without our consent or notice that price has now been increased.

When trying to communicate with this manager, he has been difficult to reach. This has been the norm for our dealings with him. I have contacted the manager that originally transitioned us to work with him. I hope that we can find accountability and better business practices.

On December 8, 2020, I purchased a 2021 Riverside Retro-135 camper trailer from Travelcamp ****** **** North, **** ******** ****., ************* ** *****. The purchase price was $16,949 for the trailer and an additional $2899.00 for a warranty Service Agreement Policy for 84 months. In December 2022, I sold the
trailer and sent a request letter (attached) to Travelcamp ****** **** North Finance Dept for a refund request form to be sent to my email address to initiate my refund process. I never received the refund request document from the dealership, and called the Administrator at National Auto Care of the South for a Cancellation Request Form. They promptly emailed me that document. I filled out the form and sent the Service Agreement Cancellation Request with a copy of the original Application Page and Bank Lien "Paid in Full" Letter by **** ******** Mail (attached) which their tracking showed the dealership received my refund request on December 30, 2022. During January and early February, I made numerous follow-up calls to the Travelcamp dealership Finance Director and Branch Manager but they were always "unavailable" or my voicemails unreturned. Finally, on February 15th, I did reach the Branch Manager who asked me to email copies of my original documents to him so he could investigate my cancellation request status. As my attempts to speak further with the Branch Manager or his Finance Director were unsuccessful, I mailed a letter of complaint to the Travelcamp Chief Operations Officer (attached) with another set of documents on Feb. 21st. Again no response from the Chief Operations Officer or his staff at Travelcamp ****** **** North. When I called the ************* ** ******** **** **** ** *** ***** on Feb. 24th, the representative said that they have not received my completed Service Agreement Cancellation documents from Travelcamp in order to process my refund request.
