  They sold me a travel trailer and did not tell me it was the law to have a trailer brake controller in my truck. I traveled across the country and could have been killed or worse, killed someone else. I traded it in at General RV for a new camper and that is how I found out. Now I am getting the run around when requesting a refund on my extended warranty. Go somewhere else.

  March 20th traded in my travel trailer for a new 5th wheel. It has been 3 weeks and they have not paid my trade in off. Dealer ship manager is very rude and hateful once you buy a new one. At this point I am still legally the owner of my trade in and have been told to go get it. Once they pay it off take it back to them. This may happen.

  I really wish I would have checked this site before buying from TravelCamp. We coupled the pain in buying an $85,000 Work-and-Play toy-hauler travel trailer by Forest River. If I could give a 0 stars, I would. We are still here in Northern Alabama, stuck and stranded now 4 days without water, shelter, electrical access, etc. etc. No sleep, no rest, both of us DISABLED and retired. Purchased all the bells and whistles for warrantees and protection, towing, etc.etc. Have had to unload the unit each time brought in for service...well, first you have to empty it, bring it to them, leave it so they can evaluate, then pick it up, put your temp stored 20 bins of equipment, kitchen stuff, dry goods, etc. back into it to keep out of the weather (we don't have a storage place, we had to buy a gazebo shelter for the yard. Then when they are ready with approvals from Forest River (as they do will all companies), you have to bring it back, leave it, loss of use, they only can fix 10 things at a time (shouldn't be 10 things on a BRAND NEW unit) albeit we have 20+. Oh, also, the roof is guaranteed for 20yrs but only if you BRING THE UNIT IN TO THE STORE to have it inspected every 3 months. (something goes wrong...empty it again) and you MUST pay them to do the work they find needs to be done for "MAINTENANCE". If you do it yourself you run the risk of voiding the warranty or them denying a claim later. So we had water leaks all over. They fixed 1 under the bath sink (so they said), as soon as we hooked up the water (unbeknownst to us), it was leaking internally in the walls, under the floor and saturated the insulation, wiring, etc to the extent we are blowing breakers, refer failed, food spoiled, BR A/C tripping "emergency breaker" (hooked up to 50amp so no thought of too much draw). Completely UNSAFE to be pulled by ANY vehicle in these mountain/hill roads. We are renting a cabin now and a ***** van because the pickup is exposed to the elements. WOW! Hope battle over soon

  Run the other way, purchased my travel trailer in March 2022. I should have known during the sale since it was like pulling teeth to get any information that I needed to go to a different dealership. I drove the rig 6 hours from my town in ******* to have the trailer repaired because there were several issues found. They sent the unit back by a transporter company. When he pulled up, the canvas cover was hanging down where they had to access the bottom of the trailer to make one of the repairs which was a bowl sized dip in the floor. The service tech never bothered to repair and attach, The floor is now detached because it was not properly reinstalled. There was several other repairs they had to do and they left damages in and on the rig. Its been crickets constantly for contact. My last contact was with the service manager at the end of December 2022 who said "he would get back to me." He never contacted me. Several of the 5 Star reviews are their own employees placing fake reviews to try and boost their ratings, just pitiful.

  Super UNPROFESSIONAL response.I edited the response to how it should have read from travel camp. I have many years in the customer service area and would never respond with that comment. Not surprising based on your business practices. That is a very defensive response. I won't hold my breath on tc reaching out to me. "Hi, *******.   On Friday , March 17, 2023 We Went to Travel Camp in *********, ** to look at camper they had advertised. **** showed us the camper . It seemed to be what we were looking for, but we werent sure if our golf cart would fit. **** said get the measurements call, or text them back to him and he would check them out. We called and gave him the measurements and he said he would go and check and text me back.. After not hearing anything back from ********** called on Saturday and ask for ***** (sales manager) he was with a customer so I left word for him to call me back. It is now after 5pm on Sunday March 18, 2023 and still no returned phone calls. Guess they dont want to sell us a camper. I would still like to purchase this camper, but they would really have to give me a sweet deal now.

  The $2,500 pre fee is ridiculous for what the salesmans **** stated paint peeling, tires ,batteries etc.whatever then ***** from travelcamp headquarters tells us later there is nothing wrong with the unit then what the rip off of $2,500 for no excuses sorry company.
