March 11, 2022, I contracted Good Greeks Moving and Storage to move my household from ********, ** to ******** **. The agreement was to allow a flexible move (to allow Good Greeks to arrange delivery within 4 weeks.) When one month had gone by after repeated attempts to find out where my household was, they finally delivered to a storage unit 7 wks later. However, they did not deliver all that they took from my ho*** including a wheelchair (I am disabled), precious quilts from my grandmother, **************, electronics, a huge mirror for my dresser that they forgot to take the first day & had to come back and get on another day, & other items. They obviously had the wheelchair, because they delivered the foot ************ rests, but not the chair! Boxes were reboxed in the 7 weeks they had my ******* ******* had been gone through. Bins were missing lids. Items were broken. They also did not give me my signed contract, either before or after delivery. The delivery men took the signed receipt (three part receipt), got into the truck & drove away with my flat screen tv still in the truck. I managed to call them to come back, but they took off again after handing over the flat screen & still did not leave the signed receipts. There are items delivered that did not belong to *** *** have tried to let Good Greek know. I know they stopped for a delivery in ******* before my stuff was delivered, & then rushed to *** after. Those items that are not mine may belong to those deliveries & vice versa. Or stolen! Emails to Good Greek Total Relocation Expert Follow Up go unanswered. Now their main email address is returned undeliverable. I cannot get a call back, I cannot get a response from the follow up representative, & now cannot even email the owner. I am 86, disabled, and recently widowed. This is bordering on criminal activity. Where are my things? Who went through my boxes? Why won't you send me copies of my contract so that I could file a loss claim? Elder abuse!

We hired Good Greek Moving company based on their positive reviews and advertising. When they came to move us to our new home, we specifically told them to be extra careful and to wrap our newer white couches to not cause damage. They wound up damaging both couches causing stains and ripping the fabric on one. We paid around $5000.00 for our couches and filed a claim to have them either repaired or exchange and included photos. They replied stating they would only pay us $250.00 and their customer service has been lacking. Their employees told us one thing and their claims department says something totally different. I responded saying I wanted to speak to someone higher up and that we were not excepting the $250.00 and we now cant get them to respond to us.

Good Greek Moving and Storage strives to provide quality service to all our customers before and after the move. We processed the claim based on the liability coverage they chose which is the standard liability coverage at no additional cost of $0.60 cents per pound per article. A full replacement coverage (Superhero Protection Plan), for an additional fee, was offered and the customer declined. Our liability was under $250.00, however, we made a good faith offer of $250.00 to settle. In an effort to settle this matter quickly and amicably, we're will adjust and make this final offer of $400.00. If this is acceptable, put a line through the $250.00 and change to $400.00 initial, please sign, notarize, and return the settlement agreement directly to ************************************* for processing.

On 6/29/22 Good Greek Moving moved me from **********. to my new residence at 600 ***************** in downtown ***************. I personally packed all of my belongings for the move except for my ** which I had Good Greek pack in a special box. When I unpacked the box and hooked up the ** it was damaged. I have photos. I filed a claim with Good Greek on July 4 and attached photos and the original receipt for the **. I received an email reply that I would hear back from them in 15 business days. I did not hear anything so I followed up on Tuesday 8/2. ******************* from Good Greek replied that I would receive a determination by COB on 8/3. I didn't hear anything on 8/3 and have heard nothing from Good Greek since. On 8/3 I received an invoice passed along by the *** in my building for damage that Good Greek movers caused to the elevator during my move. I was aware of this damage as were the movers and I reported it on the follow-up call with Good Greek the day after my move. The invoice is for $658 payable to Oracle Elevator. The *** says it is my responsibility as the homeowner to pay it. I followed up with ***** on 8/3 and shared the invoice with her and she did not reply. I then followed up again by email on 8/8 asking for an update re: the ** claim and the elevator situation. I called Good Greek on 8/8 and was told no one from the claims **** was in the office. I called again today, 8/9 and was told ***** was out of the office, and that she does not have a voice mail and that no one else from the claims **** was in the office. I would like to be reimbursed for my ** as well as for the elevator repair invoice. The original cost of my ** which was damaged was $479.99 and the invoice for the elevator is $658 for a total of over $1100. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Our office has worked with *********************** to address her concerns. We have reimbursed her $658 for the elevator repair on 8/24/22 and $125 for the agreed upon television repair/replacement on 8/31/22. We worked directly with the client and received signed released on 8/28/22. This complaint should be removed from the file.
