  WARNING!!! Never use Good Greek Moving and Storage Good Greek Moving & Storage - ***************, ** ************ does not practice good business. They will do anything to make money off the customer. Never let them pack for you, they will charge you for boxes that you don't need. Their dish carton is $24 and is about four feet in height and a few feet in depth. They packed three items in the box and the rest was paper. A waste of paper, packing capabilities and more importantly my money. They placed items that are kept together in different boxes. Who removes the cord from a television and puts in a box marked 2nd bedroom? It took days to find it. They made the moved more stressful and caused more work for us. If that's not enough, they broke things in front of us and in rooms while packing then fraudulently tried to escape responsibility. by putting glue on an item and claiming it was already broken or purchased like that; Really?! We trusted their expertise and believed all would be well with a short move. So we waived extra insurance. Wrong move. We will fill out a claim form but they won't ever pay the true value or for the money they took in packing paper instead of our property or for the stress that they caused us. This is a warning, don't use Good Greek Moving Company. Gather family and friends to help you move. They may complain but they won't rob you and call it doing business.

  What a scam of an outfit. They quoted me a price which I agreed to. When they got to my new house they gave me an over inflated 2 line invoice and said it had to be paid before they unload my belongings. I had no choice but to pay it. Ive emailed them 6 times trying to get an explanation of charges or to resolve this issue but they ghosted me. I really thought they were a good company and am very sorry they proved me wrong. I would highly recommend you stay away from them.

  Well.. I never write bad reviews... But this is needed. What a disaster my move was. Moved a 1 bedroom 1 bath and the team of two took 6 hours and didn't move everything! My final price was double the quoted estimate. The guys were nice but moved like turtles. I ended up having to move the rest of my stuff after they left. I even called Good Greek while the move was going on to inform them of this and was told that they would contact operations and get back to me. No one called me back! The following day, I received a follow-up on how my move went. I told the lady on the phone not good and that the move should have NEVER taken that long. I even noticed some of my stuff was broken while unloading the truck. Look, it was a 1 bedroom and 1 bath, the drive was LESS than a quarter mile away. (500FT) I feel like was taken advantage of and when I reached out for help, Good Greek could have cared less as they got their money. What a terrible experience! Two men and a truck would have been a better choice! Now that I'm seeing all of these other reviews, WOW!!

  At 71 I have I never left a bad review before. After reading other GG's other reviews, I feel compelled to do so.The estimator told ** that we wouldn't need a large truck and their medium sized trucks would do. The truck was too small! The move was not estimated correctly! Based on the sales pitch and the promise that our goods would not be moved off of our truck until it arrived in ****, we decided against extra insurance. We watched our household goods drive off STRAPED TO THE REAR OF THE ****** We were told they would be safe. No opportunity to purchase additional insurance now that the plans changed. The goods were delivered in TWO trucks to ****! Not what they promised. The goods had to be transferred from one to two trucks in a warehouse. The second delivery was at nighttime. The drivers moved quickly to unload. When we unloaded, we were shocked. "Fragile" meant nothing. Several broken items. Brand new work desk was destroyed. Heirloom pieces of furniture missing. Tools missing and more. No explanation given. The value was near $5,000.00. We sent a claim hoping that since they changed the agreement they would settle fairly. With no explanation they offered ** $250.00. ***** later the offered climbed to $500.00. The release that they demanded that we sign gave up all rights to complain. This is a violation of the Consumer Review Fairness Act. GG then sent ** second release with different language, but still restricting. We didn't refuse the offer, but we said that we wanted to run this by the ****************. We were told by the **************** that GG said that we refused the offer. A misrepresentation.I am filing a deceptive sales practice complaint against GG with the state of *******. I am exploring other options including various consumer protection organizations.Am I upset about our treatment? Sure, but it doesn't keep me up at night. I'm retired and I have time to world to spread the word.After all, I paid $500.00 for the privilege to do so.

  We used Good Greek Moving and Storage to help us move 10 miles to our new home. We did most of the packing of our stuff and were really looking for them to help with the big stuff. (Dining Room Table, Dressers and China cabinet). They brought three people. We were told it would be $175 an hour for 3 people plus any supplies they might have to use. (Tape and TV boxes.) What should have taken 5-6 hours took 8 hours) Including the hour of travel time and 20% surcharge. When they finished, they texted me the bill. When I clicked on the link, I was shocked to see a bill for $5100. I was charged $750 for supplies, 2 hours of overtime and $1000 for having to store my stuff in "Vaults" since we were not closing until the following Wednesday. I was told it would be $100 a day to store my stuff not $100 per vault and they said it would take 10 vaults. I never saw these so-called vaults. Then when we moved in, it was an additional $1100 to unload my stuff. So, in total we spent $6200 to move 10 miles. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Or at least be up front and honest about all of the hidden charges that might pop up. The moving company that helped me move two storage units the following Friday (10x30 and 10x5) cost me $1100 for 6 hours. I should have used them instead. I just feel like I got duped.

  They are disgusting .They stole ****** dollars in my belongings. They are a joke..The stress this had caused my parents is disgusting. My mother had to have a pacemaker. They kept her expensive vintage handbags.Painting worth thousands of dollars. M And lots of other stuff.They offered them 700,00.What a joke. I saw previous bad reviews of theft and things broken.They must be stopped.

  They bait and switch, quote a low estimate, then hold your stuff hostage on the truck until you pay inflated charges. Ended up costing double what they quoted. They as many packing materials as possible even when the move has already been boxed up. Then charge inflated packing material charges, then charge 20% fuel surcharge on top of the packing material charges that weren't authorized. Such a scam.My move was 3 miles. They charged a $240 fuel surcharge, plus and extra hour for local travel at $159 and hour. So they charged $400 to drive the truck 3 miles on top of inflated labor and packing materials. A simple move from a 700 square foot 1 bedroom condo to a house 3 miles away should not take 6.5 hours and cost over $1400. Beware!!!

  Me and my wife used Good Greek Moving & Storage a week ago and their service was pristine. Crew was very professional and took care of our belongings from the pick-up to the final destination. The attention to detail that Good Greek had since we made contact with them, was very professional and well conducted. I've done some moves in the past by myself and with other companies and nothing compares to what I experienced with Good Greek. The best thing is when you think you are almost done with the day, the Good Greek mascot showed up with a Welcome Home Box!! Within the box there were many different gift cards that I'm sure I will use anytime soon as well as a guide of local businesses and community information. Definitely very helpful as we are new to *******. The Good Greek Team was wonderful throughout the whole experience and be sure we will refer your service. Thanks again! P.S. The Good Greek ********* was delicious, I'm already halfway of the bottle, lol.

  We used Good Greek Moving on March 25th, 2023 to move 15 miles locally. They took over 10 hours to move out and move in. I was shocked. As the team of three arrived at our place, they immediately called their manager to communicate one if not two additional members were necessary to do the job. The manager refused to send anybody else. It is very clear the same pattern is used again and again by the business owner. They charge by the hour ($175 an hour!) and they understaff as much as possible to lengthen the move and ***imise the profit. In your mind, you expect 4 to 6 hours or *** $1,000 for a local move. Instead, they not only charged for 10 hours but added all kind of unjustified fees to bring the total cost to a whopping $3,600. A classic bait and switch model and the internet is full of negative reviews where the exact same pattern repeats itself. When the moving truck finally arrived to *************, the manager forces you to sign a credit card receipt (even though the offloading of the truck has not even happened) to ensure that the owner gets paid. My husband had a family emergency and I felt so helpless on my own with my young son, with men threatening to keep my belongings if I did not sign the receipt. I thought of calling the police at that point, but I just did not know what to do. it's the definition of extortion. I've used moving companies before and they were much faster. Additionally, they totally ripped me off. They quoted me a price that was 3 times lower than what the final bill came to be. The sales rep who I spoke with initially did not tell me any of these hidden fees and upcharges. Basically the bill came to be a lot higher than my move from *** to ***** (and that was cross-country!!!). I am asking for partial refund and this is my last attempt at justice before going to court over the matter.
