I am a return customer with Good Greek Moving & Storage. Back in 2015, I hired them and everything went flawlessly! Of course, I had them as my first pick for my most recent move. The team arrived exactly on time- amazing! They were friendly, courteous, and incredibly skilled at wrapping and organizing my belongings. I chose to use their storage after my closing was delayed. This has been a lifesaver since I was able to schedule my "move-out from storage" one any date convenient for me. It turns out that I called Greek's offices only two days prior to my request to have my things delivered, and they said, "No problem"!! Communication is KEY- so hire this company and be as detailed as possible, because their professionals will do everything possible to meet and exceed your expectations.

      — WARNING — DO NOT USE GOOD GREEK — Moves from 06/22-11/22. Read thoroughly! Move #1 - VIP treatment: 4-man crew on time, polite & moved pretty well. Move #2 - FAILURE! Unprofessional, unorganized & complained. Charged 5-hrs to complete move 12.5 miles & we packed/unloaded 80% & completed in 3hrs. Move #3 - LIED/THE WORST EVER! We helped unload truck & noticed packaging material pile next to their truck w/our items buried underneath (RED FLAG). BEWARE — EXTORTION! You are charged from the time they leave their property through return to their property, supplies, man-hours, & fuel. You must immediately pay full price once your goods are fully aboard the truck (RED FLAG)! The moving crew text a mysterious "supervisor" who responds w/amount owed (RED FLAG)! CALL THE POLICE! They will not/cannot provide itemized receipt! BEWARE — MISSING complete tool chest & power equipment! DAMAGED furniture! BROKEN items from mishandling! CONTACT — Good Greek employees will not provide their names (RED FLAG), would not return our phone calls (RED FLAG). After 2-weeks of looking for our missing goods, we were told (via email) to file a claim. CLAIM FILED — We itemized all missing, damaged & broken items - a few thousand dollars total! GOOD FAITH OFFER — A few hundred dollars based upon 0.60 cents per pound. Good Greek will tell you it's lawful, but not moral law! In order to receive the "good faith offer" we must sign a document acknowledging: — Neither I nor any member of my household will post a negative review of the Mover on any social media forum, bulletin board, or otherwise. (RED FLAG) — Any negative reviews or remarks that I/household members have already posted about the Mover on any social media forum, bulletin board, or otherwise, will be amended or deleted. (RED FLAG) Good Greek "pays-off' negative reviews through extortion! We're a military family w/vast moving experience. Good Greek LACKS INTEGRITY, was an all-time EXHAUSTIVE & FRUSTRATING FAILURE!

Forget the nice family act that Good Greek is trying to portray! I paid $695 to have two refrigerators moved (1 up the stairs & 1 down the stairs). During the move I heard the two movers state that this should have been a four man job and not two. The movers got stuck on the stairs moving the refrigerator down the stairs and caused $700 in damages to my laminate floor steps! When I contacted Good Greek about the damages they stated that in the 18-page contract there was a clause that Good Greek is not liable for and damages to floors, walls, etc. I hired Good Greek because they advertise as a PROFESSIONAL MOVING Company. Well that is a bunch of you know what! I even accepted the $395 gas charge even thou the refrigerator going upstairs was already delivered by ********************* and the refrigerator going downstairs was going to one of the movers friends. Never use Good Greek Moving they are ripoff! P.S. - I wrote a letter to the *** ***** and never got a reply. This is how important your satisfaction is!

      Good morning ,

We do sincerely apologize for any dissatisfaction and any inconvenience this matter has caused. Client did file a claim for damages to the floor. According to the terms of his signed contract, standard coverage does not include any or all damage to driveways, sidewalks, lawns, floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, carpet rails, roofs, gutters, etc. ************** was provided a flat rate of $695 to provide a service (which included a breakout for our fuel cost). At this moment we will not be able to provide client any compensation since he is claiming the total cost of his move and our terms were disclosed to client prior to the move. If you require any additional information or have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

DO NOT USE THEM! I would give zero if that was an option. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE Hired Good Greek for my move on 11//30:/22 because we are Bucs tix holders Shame on me for trusting them based on an ******* was from *********** to ************ (15 min drive!) was quoted $169 an hour for 4 hours INCLUSIVE of travel. Had moved 3X in the past 10 years and 4 hours was plenty. While they did show up on time they moved at a snails pace. No boxes to be moved by them and no TVs because the night before I was told it was $475 if I didnt have a box just for my TV. So we did that ourselves. They took over 7 hours. When they arrived at new residence they presented with a bill for over 3K$. I had left a $250 deposit. Was quoted $169 for 4 hours inclusive of travel plus 20% fuel surcharge. So I was expecting roughly $676 plus $135 fuel charge which would be $811 since I gave $250 deposit I budgeted about $600 for a total of $850. Was I wrong!! They charged me $1350 when we got to the house. So this move cost me $1550!!! Wouldnt unload until I paid. Charged 7 hours plus an hour of travel and over $200 to use their moving blankets. How is that not included??! Im so mad at myself for not researching them better. Dont make the same mistake. When I called the office they were rude and condescending. Wouldnt let me speak to the person who quoted me. Moving is stressful enough being lied to and spending double what was budgeted for made the experience a nightmare.

The worst moving company that I have ever used. We had multiple items damaged but the most upsetting thing was all the jewelry that was missing when we unpacked. $60K in missing jewelry. When we brought this to their attention and requested to speak with the owner they told us that the protocol was to submit a claim. After submitting a claim on the damaged items we then submitted a claim on the missing jewelry only to be told that we could not submit a second claim. They said we were only allowed to submit one claim. So absurd. The owner never called and Good Greek denied that their employee took the jewelry. Be very careful if you are thinking of using this company!

Buyers beware!!! Good Greek is manipulating online reviews through their insurance claim offers and will not pay for the cost of repairs for items broken by their employees' or subcontractors' negligence. Good Greek Moving was engaged to assist with moving our belongings in town in Tampa on August 15, 2022. The movers started the day by destroying a 70 inch television. They then decided to move a freezer with the dolly on the front causing significant damage to the door of the freezer. Near the end of the day, the mover decided to transport a glass table leg on a dolly without any support resulting in the leg falling and shattering. The company then called at the end of the move day to charge an additional amount for their movers taking longer than expected despite causing nearly $7000 in damage. Now with the claim submitted to their insurance for damage, they are offering $300 and require that I sign a document to not share the horrible experience on social media. Don’t trust this company with your move and don’t trust the reviews on here. They are buying their “good” reviews and squashing negative reviews. Horrible company, horrible experience, and laughable offer to make right on the damaged caused by their incompetence. Update as of 10/27/2022: Good Greek has increased the offer to $1000 if I sign the form that restricts online reviews/content. Otherwise they penalize me $835 and will only pay $165 for not signing away my rights to review them. Update as of 11/15/2022: Based on a call with Good Greek, they are still unwilling to remove the illegal terms of their "offer".

Good Greek Moving is using insurance reimbursement offers as a way to require users to remove or edit negative reviews. I have an outstanding insurance claim with them for $7000 worth of damage. They are offering $1000 if I sign the release of liability which restricts online reviews or $165 if I don't sign the form.

Moved my entire 2 bed 1 bath house in just over 4 hours! I had pre-boxed as mush as I could but what I didn't get to, they did for me. Besides the typical items one would have in a home of this size, I did have a detached garage as well where they moved my tools/tool boxes etc! Also in the garage was my bowflex - I made sure to tell the sales person over the phone about this and it wasn't a problem for them! Now that I've used Good Greek I'll never move by myself again. Marble table tops and furniture all got wrapped by the crew that came and no damages - which is surprising given the nature of the work (moving heavy objects from home to home while traveling on a truck) but I'm not complaining!I'm not sure what the tipping protocol should be for this type of service but a did tip each of the guys on the crew after the move went well and called the office the next morning to thank the company for a stellar job.
