During our stay at the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa , we had cobwebs, spiders, silverfish, and numerous bugs inside the room, even when the door was closed. We talked to management, and they sent a cleaning crew, but we returned to the room, it looked like they swept and made the beds. The cobwebs were still there, and the bugs were still on the floor. We have numerous allergic reactions due to the dust and bugs inside. I have two autistic boys and a very allergic daughter and myself. It was my twins' birthday, and all the dinner staff did was bring the cake and put it on our table. That is unacceptable. There are many cheaper places and restaurants out there that would have made their experience 100 times better. There was no microwave in the room so every leftover we had we had to trash because we couldn't best it up. Who doesn't have a microwave? I am not pleased with the room and the dining service. The parks experience were just madness. I refuse to even get into that. I am not at all invested in coming back.

The new Genie + system is a scam created to make you pay in order to play. Tickets for us were already $700, and in order to ride more than 3 rides a day, you have to purchase the ability to actually get what you paid for. If Disney just did away with genie plus and lightning lane, standby lines would substantially decrease. Disney has completely ruined the magic with genie+ (which we purchased for $100 and were only able to use it for 2 rides all day). My 5 years old was begging to just go back to the hotel after our first line wait of over 3.5 hours (when sign said 90 mins) for slinky-dog-dash after only letting a steady stream of Genie + customers in. We didn’t move in line for 10-20 mins at a time. When 5 year olds don’t have fun at Disney that should say something. We are never returning while Genie + is active.

We were at Epcot at the connection cafe and no one was able to help us with a clean up ( different workers) ! Then a nice lady named Cherry! Came over and help us out and cleaned up the mess. My hope is that someone at Disney recognizes Cherry and thanks her for the 5 star review!!!

Walt Disney himself the founder of the company. He always said he want to make it affordable so all families can go for Disney . Now it is completely different it’s all about the money it is absolutely terrible what they become. Hopefully karma will intervene The parks used to be open until 12:30 1:00am now they close earlier the only way to get the additional time at night you have to pay for a deluxe resort. What’s the point of paying for deluxe resort my whole family and I stay in the park from open to close we’re not in the room most of the time I’m not saying I cannot afford a deluxe resort. The point I am trying to make is as long as you’re staying on property what the hell is the difference and it should be available to all guest. We were supposed to return June 18 of 2023 rather go to Universal Studios. Apparently my money is no good here I’m a huge Disney fan but now not so much.

Disney is no longer a place of joy. It has joined the rest of the corporate greed. The new lightning lane is just another way to grab money. I didn't mind the old fast pass system, it was easy and made the park more enjoyable. Everything about the new system is just about taking your money. Now you pay $100 to get in, $25 to park your car, and all that gets you is at least an hour wait for any decent ride. If you don't want to wait, then shell out more money for every ride. Most of the staff just stand around talking to other staff. They are not friendly and don't care about visitors. If you talk to most of them, they act like you are bothering them. Walt would be very disappointed. Not only that, but much of their tech is in need of upgrading. Walt was always about the newest technology, but the new Disney doesn't seem to care. I see old analog devices everywhere I look. Old analog intercom systems that you can't even understand what they are announcing. The shows I saw in Epcot are not even digital, old low definition grainy film. It is quite sad. In the past, the park was well maintained and clean. Not anymore. I saw old gum and stains everywhere on the pavement. Paint that was chipped off on many rides. The whole experience was very underwhelming. I'm not sure I will ever visit the unmagical kingdom again. There were still some cast members who I had very positive interactions with, but they were few.

Whatever you do, DO NOT purchase the travel insurance they offer. I don't know whose bright idea it was to use AON Affinity but it's GARBAGE and Disney is GARBAGE for using them. Doesn't matter your emergency for canceling it, they deny you, so not only are you out the money you paid for coverage, you're out the money you shelled out for a VERY expensive trip to Disney. Enjoy my $3000 that I got NOTHING for, Disney. I assure you this has discouraged me from planning a trip to Disney in the future, as much as that disappoints my child, but seeing as that was all the money I saved up and won't be able to save it again, it doesn't really matter. At least Universal Studios has a better insurance, they refunded me no problem, so I'll be sure to make any future trips with them, and not you.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. We went over Christmas. Very busy week to go, I understand that. However, our experience was TERRIBLE. First, 99% of the cast members we interacted with were so rude and uncaring. I get it, you're working over Christmas but this was next level. Snatching stuff from our hands in stores, ignoring us completely, and just all around terrible attitudes. We met 4 very nice cast members (Jess at the haunted mansion, Alejandro, Abbey, and Alexa at the magic kingdom main street) who were amazing. Second, Genie plus is the worst. At the MK we scheduled for The Haunted Mansion but it temporarily closed and canceled my G+ reservation. I rescheduled for a later time and the same thing happened. I then scheduled the Barnstormer and the same thing happened. It wasted my time and money since you can only schedule 1 ride at a time. My whole day was gone. I filed a complaint on the app about this on the same day and the response I got was oh well, "I hope you have a better day". Third, ride closures. There were so many ride closures! Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest did not open at all. Magic Kingdom, The Haunted Mansion, Barnstormer, Big Thunder Railroad (closed as we got to the front of the hour long line). Hollywood Studios, Rock n Roller Coaster was closed on and off. Forth, THE CROWD. Lucky for us, it was freezing the first two days we were there and that kept people away from the parks. But when we went to Hollywood Studios we could not even walk around because there were so many people. There is no way they are limiting entry with that crowd. Last, the lines and wait times. How ridiculous. 4+ hour waits for certain rides. Genie Plus was no help. And if I wanted to ride them I had to pay EXTRA for a lightening lane. In conclusion, Disney is all about the money right now and not about the magic it used to be. We spent so much money to go and had the worst time. We will not be returning. I'd rather go to Universal Studios.

We just got back from Disney world (magic kingdom) this week. We stayed at a resort & it was our first time as a new family visiting Disney. I must say after experiencing the few things that I did I was so disappointed. First of all our room at All star movie had to be switched because the connecting room smelled like cigarettes. My husband and I after a full day had horrible migraines from the smoke. I smelled it ALL NIGHT. Finally in the am I had to call the front desk and complain. Re packing and moving rooms with a toddler was a pain. Secondly, once we went into magic kingdom the employee on the dumbo ride when I mouthed to her that my dumbo wouldn't go up or down she rolled her eyes then got on her speaker and said "you have to hold the lever up for at least 10 seconds" okay ma'am I haven't been to this park in over 20 years how am I supposed to know this? She was so rude. There was 1 employee who worked the mermaid ride who was truly magical. I even looked at my husband and said wow you would Think everyone they hire here would be like her. I wish I remembered her name. Anyways we've been talking about returning in April & doing a different park so I called Disney dining yesterday to get some info about a few restaurants and dining plans. She was super dismissive, couldn't provide me much info about anything and even said "I couldn't even tell you I'm sorry". Listen if you're going to be as expensive as you are and continue to raise your prices at least have TOP NOTCH & ELITE employees. This isn't the magic I remember having as a child & I'll find a different destination to make my sons child hood magical. My husband and I don't have a problem with your prices or costs of things, what we do have a problem with is Spending thousands of dollars on a trip & not being treated kindly or having the magical experience you guys swear by.

Our recent trip to Walt Disney World Epcot has been a disappointment. We visited Epcot on December 28, 2022 afternoon. With knowing huge population is coming, we purchased Genie + which was $29 per guest to shorten our wait time. We booked Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in the afternoon with LL. We went to the ride about 20 minutes before our scheduled time. Unfortunately the ride was down due to mechanical failure. All of the passengers have to wait. It is understandable, and it happened once a while. It did not bother us. When ride was up and back to operational, all of us were excited to enter the line. However, the ride manager decided to let the Standby (SB) passengers to take the ride first, and blocked the LL line for a prolonged period of time. His excuse was that the SB passengers have been waiting for long. Are you kidding me? What a terrible excuse! When the line was down, both LL and SB passengers needed to wait, but not just SB people. After a long period of waiting, I saw several customers started arguing with him. His attitude became very rude. He seemed to like demonstrate his power to control who can get in, and everyone has to follow his direction/power. The situation got intense over the time, but he continued to keep ignoring customers' voice. In my opinion, he just needed to rotate between two lines. Everyone would be treated fairly, and no one would say a world. If a priority is given, it should be LL line instead of SB line. What the manager did was against common sense and/or industrial common practice. He ignored customers' voice, and argued them with attitude. The manager looks like a new manger without much training or experience to handle people. His people's skill was terrible. I do not know why Walt Disney World hired him to manage the ride. He was definitely bringing negative image to the business. I seriously suggest WDW move him to a different position which does not need to face customers.
