      The service was fast and efficient especially since its an older house installation. I asked to keep my old system because it wasnt too old and a friend who works with Habitat for Humanity fixes systems for people who cant afford new ones. They left me the condenser and air handler but not the disconnect box which was a separate unit on that evaporator. I called *********************** *********** and asked for them to drop it off; nobody ever did. I also said the outside fan on new Lennox system vibrates a lot and they need to come check it or balance it; he said that they will call but never did that either. Overall I was happy but they should call or contact us if they are super busythats just common courtesy.

      Saturday morning, Del-Air -performed advertised A/C Tune - Up as sent to my attention via email. AC (8 year old unit; installed and serviced by Del-Air) upon home build. AC operates very COLD (due to my stage and physical condition), Del-Air tech informed that new EVAP coil is needed as they hear "hissing" sound. The unit has been running 68 before visit and was 70 when tech was present. Predicts that unit will stop by weekend (HOW IS THIS?). Guess what occurs 90 mins after leaving my unit is no longer working (78 degrees NEST reads) and I was left with options to buy $28,424 - $23,640 for a 3.5 tons unit. Is this a really an ethical way to handling business? Selling / pushing a Maserati unit? I was not given the brand written or even if they have other brands. Might need an SUV but directed only toward a Maserati SUV after "predicting" after you touch my asset that it will no longer work. It did not feel reputable and predatory.Undergoing treatment (requires cool and comfortable). I performed this "preventive" service as keeping everything up and running as I am in this stage of my life, Appauled that now I am in a "hot" house and quoted $28,124 to be comfortable.Outrageous when unit was working (very cold) prior to the visit and information that it would not be running by weekend and to replace they recommend a $28,124 - $23,640 for a 3.5 tons unit.

      What can you get AC annual maintenance advertised for $29 by Del-Air? To my surprise a lot. *****************, a technician spent 2 hrs doing a thorough check of all components. He cleaned up water line and took care of bacteria inside the unit. We were very satisfied and lucky to call Del-Air for service at this low price.

      ZERO STARS!!WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND DEL-AIR PLUMBING TO ANYONE We needed a waterline capped off at our dock that had a compression coupling on it that came off late yesterday evening. When the coupling came off the city turned off the water so it could be repaired today. The pipe was under a foot of water at the ****************. After the 2 repairmen got here and found out what needed to be done a supervisor was contacted to get a quote. It was $500 because we wanted a spigot installed as part of the repair. To lower the cost we decided to have the water line capped and wait on having a spigot installed. That was going to cost $295. The repairmen dug a deep 2' trench at the shoreline trying to find the supply line, lake water caused a problem with this approach so they dug a 2' square hole on higher ground away from the shoreline, but were still unsuccessful in locating the water supply line. After 2 hours that included calls to the home office to determine cost, digging the small trenchs, turning on and off the main water, we were told if they continued to dig it was going to cost extra. By this time my husband was able to get the compression fitting reinstalled. Since the compression fitting held with the water on we decided we would find the water supply line ourselves and then have the line repaired next week.The home office was again contacted about the cost and they charged us $500 not $295 because there were 2 repairmen involved for 2 hours. So we paid for my husband to reinstall a compression fitting, 2 repairmen digging 2 small trenches and turning on the water. The city would have turned on the water for free. While we don't find fault with the repairmen that tried to fix our problem it'a an understatement to say we are extremely dissatisfied with Del-Air gouging for services because there were "2 repairmen" and they were here from 1:50p to 3:45p. Shame on us for not fighting the charge, but shame on Del-Air for price gouging.

      Had a whole new air conditioning system put in after getting the handler in decided I needed special electrical work at an extra $1500. Put in a thermostat wrong causing air conditioner to run day and night pushing hot and cold air. Came back 3 times to fix it. No one knew how to set the thermostat. Electrician did the wiring wrong. Everytime he came he shut the electric off causing the thermostat to go back to factory setting. Failed the county inspection twice and after two months still waiting for the electric wiring to be done right which will again shut off the settings on the thermostat and ofcourse will then have to have another inspection. Have contacted head of the company but I guess he doesnt really care either. This is all being done for my mother who is 102.. I would never recommend this company. This was done in a home in *********.

      Delair Plumbing install a new HVAC unit for ** in 2021. Delair came to service my HVAC unit for a maintenance service 3 days (2/23) ago. Started with a junior technician, the junior tech completely ruined my unit. A supervisor came later and told us a new part needed to be ordered and will come today (2/27) to have it fixed. We waited whole day, no one knows where the supervisor is. Right now it is 6:20pm 2/27.1) The supervisor admitted the junior member ruined the unit.2) The supervisor promised to us he will come to fix the problem.3) No one in the company is able to locate the supervisor at this hour.Such a derelict action shall be known by all customers. We will never recommend anyone for their service any longer.
