      College Hunks Movers' truck was excessively speeding, doing 30 MPH in a posted 10 MPH zone, on a gravel road with limited visibility through our private development. When delivering they unnecessarily blocked the road while unloading.I did not move with them, but based on their carelessness and inconsiderate behavior I would not use them.

      The packers were unprofessional because they were part timers, homeless, or college hunks. And they weren't the cheapest!!!

      Beware of the bait and switch! Our quote was written for two trucks and 4 men but only one truck arrived and they said we got a better deal because it was only one truck but an extra person. The person in charge did a quick walk through the house and said it would all fit in one truck. I talked to the main person, ****, at the ***** office and he said no matter what he'd make it right. Well, needless to say, not everything fit in the truck and we had to leave items with neighbors and had pick them up later ourselves! After many calls and e-mails where I was assured the local manager would get back to me I have still heard nothing. It has been two months!!! Very unprofessional!

      Completely unprofessional. One of the movers showed up reeking of marijuana. And clearly was smoking it throughout the move because the smell never went away. Broke several of our high dollar items and promised to get a claim filed for their repair or replacement. Never happened. They completely avoid my emails and phone calls and have just completely blown us off. They damaged other stuff but not severely. But they were very careless. I'm surprised he didn't break more things of ours. They were in such a hurry to get everything done that they completely left an entire 10-ft U-Haul truck worth of stuff behind. I say that because we had the rent a 10-ft U-Haul truck the following weekend to get everything they neglected to put on the truck and move. When I call corporate all they did was give me the typical runaround. They'll have local manager call me and get everything squared away. Corporate said that to me twice and nothing happened. No phone call, no nothing. No follow-up from corporate or anything. This company is by far the worst moving company I have ever hired in my entire life. College kids for 200 bucks can do a better job than these jokers.

      Do Not ***************** Very unprofessional. Didnt bring enough boxes. Decided they were done packing because they didnt have anymore boxes to use. Second crew, second day, didnt bring any boxes as they were suppose to be loading the truck so decided to put the rest of the items in plastic bags and hope nothing breaks between storage and transport to next designation. When the contents arrived at new home, a lot of things were broke. Imagine that ??. 3 flat screen television sets were missing. When company was called about the broken/missing items they said they would reimburse 6 cents per pound on everything listed and that they would come and pick the damaged things up and fix them. (So, what, theyre going to glue plates back together?!!!) Wow! And for the missing televisions, they were in the truck that neglected to travel 3 hours to the new destination. Simply put, the sets were forgotten. So they had the televisions but said they would not travel the 3 hours to deliver them and that we had to come back to the city that we recently left and pick them up ourselves. I have never been so disappointed in a delivery company in all my life and Ive used quite a few. Your contents are not completely boxed, nothing is labeled or numbered. And there is nothing showing how much or what contents are being moved from your home. Simply put, you have no way of proving what you have and what is missing. Save yourself a lot of cash and dont use this company. As someone else had mentioned in another review, use the more expensive company because you will wind up paying the extra money anyway for items that are lost or damaged if you use these guys. And as for star ratings, I had to put 1 star or I couldnt leave tis review, they deserve No stars.

      College Hunks moved my household goods to my new home in **************, ** in late May 2024. One special item was my large collections of music CDs. The box along with my other household goods were packed by my wife and I and clearly marked CDs. We realize later while unpacking in our new home that the CD box was missing, that it had not been off loaded from the van. I posted a negative review and got a response from College Hunks management that they would investigate. I have heard nothing in regards to this investigation. If you use this company you should inventory your boxes and clearly identify the contents. Verify loading and off loading. My collection of CDs had special meaning to my wife and I as the collection of music was obtained from vacations taken throughout the world.

      If youre considering using College Hunks in the Waldorf area DONT!!!! The money you save on the move will be used to replace the items that they break. I had over 10K in damages and ***** only reimbursed me $750. Almost every large item in my home was broken, I had a desk that was 4K, SHATTERED. Im so upset! Please beware DO NOT USE COLLEGE HUNKS WALDORF!!!!!

      Was a terrible experience will never use them again.they said that they had to come back and someone was there all day long.charged me 255$ and said I altered the door after I got the Coach in. lazyboy got the couch in the room.Couldnt get ahold of customer service for an hr.

      We used college hunks today and ******* and ****** were fantastic. They both worked so hard in 99 degree weather and helped us immensely moving all our belongings from our old house to our new house. They took the big television and handled it with care. We filled the entire 18 wheel truck and they arranged the truck so they could fit more. ******* and ****** set up our new house with care. ******* and ****** made our empty new house a home filled with all our furniture and the entire contents of our old house. ******* and ****** worked tirelessly to do a fantastic job. I highly recommend College Hunks Hauling Junk and Movers.
