  I hired them to move me, when they left I couldn't locate a certain box, it wasn't there. We saw the box in the cab of the truck, they drove off with it. I also paid them $50 to remove 2 boxes, they stuck the boxes in another room and left. I realized all of this within 5 minutes of them leaving, called the personal phone of the mover and the moving company, they wouldn't answer my calls. I left a message asking them to come back. No response. Six days later and I still haven't heard from them. Btw...the contents of the box was worth apx $600.

  This is a claim that has been processed. The box in question was packed by you and contained liquor. For anyone reading this, movers cannot take flammable liquids. The *** does not allow this. As you know the box was dropped and all the liquid inside broke. It never should have been given to us to move.

  College Hunks, ************************** and ****** did a superb job of hauling all of our things to a new location! They were professional, true gentlemen, hard working and they worked fast in getting us moved out and moved in to our new location. We couldn't ask for a better experience and as a matter of fact it was an all around excellent experience and we highly recommend them!   My move was on 10/31/2023, in *******, **. . Only 2 men were sent instead of 3, to move a 3 bedroom, 3 story house. the men complained the entire time due to climbing the stairs, etc. We found them very lazy and incompetent. My belongings were to be moved to a storage area. They left so much stuff behind it took 4 days for 2 older men to deliver the rest of my things. Also, they called to say they were at the storage facility, I told them my son and friends were there and would let them into the storage unit. 3 hours later they left me a message that they were still waiting to get into the storage facility!!! I spoke to the very rude general manager and let him know I would not be paying $140 per hour for the 3 hrs. his guys sat in their truck!! Well he increased the price by $500 from the price I was quoted prior to the move. I seriously did not have the amount of money he was charging now. They ended up driving away with my entire household furniture, etc. As of today, 1 week later, the price has continued to rise. I was quoted $3.600 to receive my furniture back! I am an older woman on social security and believed the amount quoted at $780.00 would cover the entire move. After speaking to others i have learned this is common for College Hunks movers, they give one price and charge much more at t he end.

  You sent us to a storage facility and did not follow to let us in. Numerous calls to your phone finally were answered and you stated your son was there. He was not. Our manager tried to rectify the situation and work with you on the bill, yes we bill for waiting time. You told us you could not afford to pay the bill and asked us to leave. We are currently holding this in our storage facility.

  I scheduled them for a move in august and had to end up canceling, I did so within my three day window to get my deposit back. It's been well over a month and they have refused to return my money and every time I call them they have a different excuse as to why it hasn't been done. I've had to call my bank and have them dispute the charge to get my money back.

  Today College Hunks movers ************************** and ******* did an amazing and outstanding job of getting us moved from one house to our Forever home in 3 1/2 hours and in that there was a 35 minute drive but they went above and beyond!! I would recommend College Hunks too everyone that is planning on moving!

  The sales person was great however, the moving experience was not. The men move very slow, which makes sense since they get paid by the hour. by 4 oclock in the afternoon I had to start moving stuff myself to get them finished. And they did not complete the job. They ended up leaving a handful of items in the original location. I tried calling the national hotline. They refuse to connect me with the local office. And didnt have a record of my earlier call to see if the job was incomplete only on the follow up. Did somebody get back to me. When management finally reached out, they did not offer a satisfactory solution.With that, the men who did the job were very friendly and respectful.

  ********************** and **** completed my move today from my storage facility to my apartment, AND they put together the metal shelves I bought for that purpose. They were courteous and professional, and got me out of a pinch.

  What a *** ***. I am 80 yrs old and could not reach the hooks to put the pads in the elevator. I put the container of pads next to the elevator, They charged me $40. to put them up. It took 2 minutes. They also charged $40.because I was on the 4th Fl. and I was in front of elevator. Apparently they charge an additional 40. If you are above the 3rd Fl.

  During my move I had to make many decisions. The best one by far was having the College Hunks move my furniture. **** and ***** are an incredible team. My stuff was covered, taped and on the truck before I knew it. They were just as efficient unloading my furniture and placing it exactly where I wanted it. They even remained quite pleasant even while dealing with some treacherous stairs. Im so pleased with the College Hunks, they definitely deserve an A+.
