  We are elderly and needed items moved from our storage facility to a ***. From the first contact to set up the move to the truck and drivers pulling away from the *** with our items securely and neatly packed we found that Pack and Load did an exceptional job. The person who set up the move, *****, was not only helpful in guiding me, but he sent me his phone number in case I had further questions or concerns. ***** and company in ** kept right on top of making sure we were ready to meet the packers on the day of move and followed up after the move. And ***** and ** our packers were not only efficient, they were courteous, careful with our items and packed the *** for two elderly folk when they wanted to access it. Pack and Load was recommended to us by *** and we truly thank them for that recommendation as it was absolutely a very professional easy experience for us. We feel they rate a Five Plus.

  This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with! We hired them to load two PODS. The first crew showed up on time at 8:00, a.m., but didn’t bring the necessary supplies to pack the PODS. They said they would be back the next morning. WE WERE FINE WITH THAT and rescheduled our plans for the day. But a few hour later we received a call from Pack & Load, saying they fired that crew and would send another by NOON. We received a call from the leader of the 2nd crew “Big Ray” informing us they were running late. He then said: “they found a guy on craigslist to help and he would be there soon”. The guy from craigslist didn’t arrive until 3:15, he started loading little things by himself. The rest of the crew didn’t show up until 4:00. When they arrived, it was: Big Ray, his pregnant girlfriend, their infant! and another guy. Who brings his girlfriend and baby to a job site? They did an absolutely horrific job! We supplied them with moving blankets to cover and protect our sofa, We found all the blankets unused and on the ground, after they left. They took absolutely no care with our belongings. Pack and Load claims, all 3rd party vendors they use are vented. They are NOT! They hire anyone off of craigslist! We also hired Pack and Load to unpack the PODS at our new place. They were supposed to be here at 8:00 a.m., but we received a voicemail informing us, they wouldn’t arrive until noon or 1:00. Again, they didn’t show, so we call and were told they’ll be here in 45 minutes. 3:00 comes and still, no show. We called back and were told they will be there by 4:00 (remember, they were originally supposed to arrive at 8:00 both days). At this point, we told them, we need to reschedule. They replied, “we would be charged a fee if we reschedule!” I’m a pretty patient person, but at this point I lost it and we fired them. This is only a few issues we experienced. We only hired them because of PODS recommendation. PODS needs to reevaluate who they recommend.

  Was excited to use a POD and one of their recommended services for the “Pack & Load”. I wish - like many others - that I had read the BBB Complaints before I hired them. Just a few things to mention here that I saw repeated on other complaints - I purchased a box of straps to be used in the POD and they packed it!! They assured me that twine/string would do the job which they had. The workers are not everything the website promotes. I was moved by professionals with the military - so I know the difference. So many things were damaged due to how they were packed/loaded in the POD. I don’t remember reading the “$250” limit of liability. It seems like a lot of people missed that because the complaints are numerous and get nasty. I don’t know how any moving company can have such a low claim amount especially when they are being entrusted with our most precious items. I will fill out my claim and use my “$250” to replace my mattress that was ruined, my art/frames that were broken, my 3 lampshades that were crushed along with my Derby Hat plus other broken items. NOT. Go elsewhere. Save yourselves and your goods.

  They did a great packing job! They me know step by step what and why they did things. Lots of reassurance. Very professional and pleasant! I couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend them!

  THey were great. We used them to lack up item and load them into a PODS Unit so we could redo out floors. Then we used them to unload the Pods unit.They treated out items with the utmost care. When placing the furniture on out new hardwood floors they were super careful so as to not cause any damage. When sitting the furniture in place they handled it like a new born baby.The original phone call was one of the best customer Service experiences I have had in years. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I received calls while they wee here packing and loading adn while unloading wanting to know if thing were going well.They are very customer oriented which hard to find these days.We will use them again when needed.

  Booking was easy, I even had to change dates a couple times. The move out went well, but the move into new home was a nightmare. They were booked for 8-10 am arrival, they showed at 1:20. By the afternoon it’s usually showering in Baton Rouge and that day was no exception. Owner of the company knew what he was doing, but two helpers appeared to have never done it before. They banged and scratched walls and my wood floor, and i stood at door trying to dry antiques as they came in. Overall an unpleasant experience.

  Satisfied with the movers work. Not happy that I was overcharged for an additional hour that I did not approve (*** called me every hour about 15 minutes before my time was up to see if I needed additional hours). The movers decided to change the arrival time on the paperwork they submitted for payment which differs from the documents I signed once the move was completed. It has been very difficult to get someone to provide an update and resolve this issue. Hopefully someone from upper management reaches out to me.

  I'm giving a 4 due to the administration on the loading side. I contracted for 4 guys, but 3 showed up and didn't have any orders. I think it would have taken quite a bit less time if there was one additional guy, but it took double the time I had expected. The guys did an amazing job packing the **** and fitting almost everything in, being that there were some bulky and heavy items. The unloaders did a great job and all were professional.
