  Bought a used tranny, paid for shipping, paid mechanic to remove old and put in AM's. Tranny didn't work after install. After several, and I mean several phone calls /emails between AM, my mechanic, and myself, AM advised I had to send it back for a refund!! Furthermore, I paid over $1,000 for tranny plus shipping. Paid my mechanic over 1,800 to remove/install trannies and all parts required by AM ! AM refused to pay for shipping back! Which was a couple hundred! And refused to pay for or help pay for the removal of its defective tranny they sent. Moreover, AM advised me that that had tested the tranny before they sent it and it worked. Which was obviously not true!! I am out over 2800 dollars and still stuck with a tranny that does not work. My mechanic wanted $800 to remove AM tranny and another $300 to ship it which is more than the cost of AM's tranny. There was no point to take it out and send it back. It should also be noted that I had to deal with 2 different reps and it took 3-5 months of headaches with them.

  According to our records, the transmission was purchased and received in May 2024. In September 2024, you contacted us to report an issue with the part. At that time, we spoke directly with your mechanic, gathered all necessary information, and proceeded to file a warranty claim on your behalf. The claim was approved, and return instructions were sent via email to both you and your mechanic. As of today, it has been 10 months since the claim was granted, and we have not received the part back.

  Biggest crooks I ever dealt with, ordered a 6.7 diesel motor from them that supposedly only had 50,000 miles on it. It showed up and looked like they pulled it from the bottom of a lake, took 3 months of them putting me in hold and it cost me $4000 just to return it and their ‘restocking’ fee for an engine they claimed was inspected and tested

  This company does bad business with its parts Only warranty. Bought an engine from them and the mechanic said the engine was bad. They won't reimburse me engine installation fee and return shipping fee on me

  I spent $3700 on a 2021 **** 3.5 expedition motor with ***** miles and extra $489 for 5 year labor/parts warranty. Upon receiving the motor it is not what I ordered, build date on the engine is 10/23/19, and front cover leaking oil, valve cover broke, turbo lines cut, water pump line bent, looks to have way more miles. Pretty much told me all I can do is ship it back for a refund.. but that will set me back 3+ weeks for shipping and waiting on refund.. the sales guy sent me a vin number and pictures of motor/ vehicle I was supposed to receive the engine out of.. I should not of got an older/ more mileage engine for the money I spent with these people.. I do not recommend buying from them! You will not receive the parts you think you are purchasing..

Please note that the engine shipped matches the specifications of your original order. It is a clean, tested unit and comes with a 5-year parts and labor warranty. While the engine is used and may show some typical signs of wear, it has been thoroughly inspected to ensure it is in good working condition. As outlined in the warranty agreement sent to you via email and text, hoses and harnesses are not covered under warranty. If you remain unsatisfied, you are welcome to return the engine within 30 days of delivery.   I understand you inspect and it meets my specifications but its not the engine you sold me.. I was suppose to receive a 2021 engine with only ***** miles, this engine is a 2019 and idk the mileage thats on this engine you sent me.. so its not what I paid for.. you told me I have to pay the return shipping. Which I should not be required to pay for because you sent me wrong one..! You sent me the wrong engine that I did not purchase!!!! it will work in my truck yes, but thats not the point.. I wanted a NEWER, LOW mileage engine which I was told I was purchasing! Not an engine I know nothing about miles or vin number of vehicle it came out of!!

  I wouldn't recommend anyone buying anything from this company. I was sold a transmission that didn't work, although I was told parts are tested before they are shipped. YEAH RIGHT!! I lost money, by paying for transmission install twice and storage fees while claim was being processed. Do yourself a favor and purchase parts from your local auto parts warehouse. NEVER AGAIN!!!

  ZERO Stars! If there was a negative the skies the limit!!! These people will lie through their teeth to endless limits just to get your money, once they do you can bet your last dollar NOTHING BUT JUNK N GARBAGE WILL BE AT YOUR DOOR!!! I paid $1600.00 for a pc of junk transmission that was in NO WAY NOT ONLY NOT CHECKED OR TESTED but the Lying theives had a trans that came from a junkyard in PHEONIX AZ. These crooks didn't even take the time to take the clumps of dirt and mudd off the outside. They ripped the unit from a truck, SLAMMED IT ON THE GROUND AND COMPLETEY CRUSHED THE FLUJD PAN,, WHICH IM SURE CRUSHED THE TRANS CONTROL SOLENOID PACK THAT SITS RIGHT ABOVE INSIDE THE PAN AND THOSE SOLENOIDS CONTROL "EVERYTHING FROM SHIFTING, TO FLUID FLOW. PACK RUNS $350-$500. I was told every unit goes to "THEIR" Shop in Tampa, GETS OPENED UP and INSPECTED, then TESTED BY THEM & ONCE CLEARED IT GETS SHIPPED! BS BS BS HOW DOES A UNIT THAT CAME FROM PHOENIX THAT WASNT EVEN WASHED TO GET THE DIRT & MUDD & RUST OFF AND SPRAY PAINTED RIGHT OVER IT GOT TESTED WHEN #1. THEIR IN TAMPA FL & THE UNIT SHIPPED FROM PHOENIX #2. THERE IS NO WAY IN **** THE PPL IN PHEONIX CHECKED OR TESTED "ANYTHING" NOT 1 NUT OR BOLT LET ALONE THE ENTIRE TRANS. "THEY DIDNT EVEN HOES THE DARN THING OFF BEFORE PAINTING IT!!! THE PAINTED RIGHT OVER LOOSE DJRT SND MUDD & RUST!!! WHEN I SPOKE TO DANIEL WITH WARRANTIES I TOLD HIM I WANTED A 100% REFUND AND SURE ENOUGH THE LYING CROOK PC OF **** TRIED SAYING THAT UNIT WAS TESTED "BY THEM" AND PASSED INSPECTION" HES LYING THROUGH HIS TEETH AND IM GOING TO SMACK A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THESE CROOKS IF I DONT GET EVERY PENNY BACK!!   The engine we received was in terrible shape. As is stated in other reviews here, it looks like it was shipped straight from a junkyard. It was received on a broken pallet with loose wires and plastic wrap holding it down. Since receiving the engine, we have been in consistent contact with the company who has shown no inclination to make things right beyond waiting for us to replace everything broken so we can verify the installed engine doesn't work. Internal parts started failing as soon as we started hooking the engine up. This engine has an internal water pump which immediately started leaking. Although not typically covered, we were initially told that they would cover it because it is internal. However, the company has since refused to cover anything. Now, after also finding a broken timing chain guide, the warranty person said that if I send a compression test showing the engine is bad, they will replace it. My concern is that we will get another product of similar quality after waiting a month for it to arrive. Problems so far: 1.On arrival, cables holding the engine to the pallet were extremely loose, allowing the engine to shift and break through the pallet. 2.Valve covers were broken. The electrical plug to the *** solenoid on one side is broken off, and the one on the other side is loose. Excessive oil inside spark plug holes when ignition coils were removed for inspection.3.Port on the back of the inake manifold was broken, indicating impact or abrasion during shipping.4.Oil filter bypass appears to have been leaking for a long period. Oil filter housing is leaking oil. Oil pressure sender is broken off in the engine block. 5.Throttle body had excessive dirt and a large amount of corrosion as if it had been sitting in weather for a long period of time.These defects are not covered under warranty, but they indicate that we were sent a product of lower quality than promisedwhich was shipped with no care taken in the preparation.

  We ordered a motor and it was supposed to be complete and it is missing the starter and alternator. Plus the wiring is all cut so we have to use ours. I guess it is a good thing all these items are still good on the motor that we have to replace. Our order was misplaced so we ended up waiting 2 extra weeks before we got our motor. When I called to find out if our motor was on the way that was when we found out about the first mistake. The person I talked to was good on that one. Then I got an email saying that they found one and it was on the way. Then the paperwork was misplaced again. Well it had been awhile since I'd heard anything from them so I called again. I told the person that this is the second time and he said the first time and said no. He hung up on me. So what was supposed to be 3 weeks ended up being 33 days. It was shipped on a pallet with nothing under it and barely covered over. Not at all happy with customer service or quality of product.

  My name is **** ******. I ordered a transmission from this company for my Acura MDX. I paid $2200.00 for a transmission that I thought would be good. I had the transmission shipped to ******************** in ******** Ga to fix my daughters car as she is in college. The transmission was installed but would not program. I called AM used auto and spoke to ****** ********* and told him that they had shipped me a bad transmission. He told me that it had to be programmed. I responded that it had been programmed and gave him ***** information. I communicated back to him that transmission still would not program. He sent me instructions to ship back. I paid to have transmission shipped back. 3 weeks later I find out that I was receiving my refund minus a 25% restocking fee. I called him and asked why when he shipped me a bad transmission. He said because you did not program it. I was furious as they tried to program it several times. I asked for manager. He told me that he was the manager and put me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back. He answered and put me on hold for 10 more minutes. It was not fair to lose my money over something that was bad to start with. Next transmission that I bought from a separate company worked fine. This company is a rip off and will use any excuse to take your money. I hope that others will see this and use someone else to prevent the loss of their money. **************

  This is NOT what I think , it is what i know. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SO CALLED COMPANY. THESE PEOPLE ARE TOTAL LIER'S . SHOWED ME PHOTOS OF THE ENGINE I WAS SUPPOSE TO GET 60,000 MILES. WHEN IT ARRIVES I PULL BACK THE SHRINK WRAP. IT WAS NOT THE ENGINE THEY SHOWED ME. IT WAS A TOTAL RUST BUCKET AND DIRTY IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS PULL OUT OF SOMTHING FROM JUNK YARD AND SHIPPED AS IS. THIS ENGINE WAS NOT AN ENGINE WITH 60.000 MILES. THEY TOOK ALL OF MY MONEY SENT ME ****. I REFUSED IT RIGHT OUT OF THE TRUCK, PULLED IT OUT LOOKED AT IT REFUSED IT. PUT IT RIGHT BACK ON THE TRUCK. BECAUSE I DID NOT OFFICIALY CANCEL CORRECTLY THEY KEPT ALL OF MY MONEY EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT WHAT THEY SAID I WAS GETTING.
  JUST DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PIECE OF **** COMPANY. STAY CLEAR OF THEM
  I HAVE PHOTOS OF THE ENGINE IF ANYONE FROM BBB WANTS TO SEE THEM.
