    I placed an order on February 20, 2025 for 10 1 ounce silver rounds. Order number ******. The website says it can take up to 6-8 weeks and another 10 days if payment by check, which I did. They received my check on 3/3/2025. That is more then enough time. I have emailed them twice but it was undelivered. So I called a week ago, only got a voicemail and left my information. Still haven't heard from them. Website order still says not shipped yet

    Never heard from customer? My wife called to inquire and was told it would be shipping. 

    The responsibility isn't on the customer,  6 months to complete a simple order? 

    I did receive a voicemail from the business this morning.  Called back to no response. 

    I have ordered many times in the past,  shipping is always slow and I have avoided this business as much as possible.  The frequency of the orders have died off significantly in the last 2 years.  But 6 months cashing my check and nothing,  no contact,  no email that's literally theft.  What was your plan,  hope i forgot about it?

    Placed an order on 11/18/24 and wired $32,176.56 for (12) 2024 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coin $50 BU coins. After numerous emails and follow **** there is still no resolution as to delivery and no commitment to deliver them. I have been waiting over 23 weeks for this delivery. Please see the attached email correspondence. This will not include the 2 weeks of phone calls i made every day to find out what the status of this shipment is. Additionally, every "I will let you know" or promised phone call never happened without prompting. I want what i paid for. I am tired of being strung along.

    I am rejecting this response because:i have heard this before that the order is shipping.  I don't know why i should believe it this time.  After waiting 10 weeks and not getting a delivery or any forward motion, i did request to pick up this shipment in ****, HOWEVER, in the 10 weeks I was in *******, I was never notified to come pick this order up.  This order was never on hold, the only distinction was where to get it and i did not want to wait any additional time to go back to ******** when i was close to the showroom in ****.  The response is a misrepresentation of the truth as is already outlined in the email correspondence that was submitted.  Additionally, there were NUMEROUS phone calls and opportunities to CLARIFY when this order would be shipped and it was abundantly clear what my wishes were.  I want what I paid for and I will NOT resolve this complaint until i have received it.  I paid for this on Nov 18, 2024. This was 24 weeks ago.

    This order may be shipping out, but  the confirmation email informing me that this order has been fulfilled is false.  This order has not been shipped as only a label as been created to this point.  Again, this is deceptive and is not indicative of reality. A label has been created, a shipment has not occurred.  I will ONLY close this complaint when my order has been received and there are zero discrepancies.

    The rest of the order did ship out after Gainesville Coins response of 5/20 and i received them today, June 5th, HOWEVER , what I received is NOT what I ordered. I have 2 coins that need to be replaced as they are 2022 and NOT the 2025 that the receipt received with them says. Those 2 coins are also damaged on the reeding and I would like replacements. The other 5 were acceptable and in accordance with what i had ordered.

    Order date 12-17-2024, check received 12-23-2024. After numerous calls and e-mails ***** (manager), did a partial shipment order. They just sent silver coins that I ordered. They seem to be completely unable to fulfill the gold coin order. The Order was for a 1 oz gold Eagle date of choice. You wonder if Gainesville Coins is selling gold coins that they don't even have.I just want them to fulfil their part of purchase agreement.

    I made a online order from Gainesville coins on Dec 30th 2024( Order # ******)... I paid by check which they received on Jan 6th 2025... there is a 12 day waiting period until the check clears... then a 5-8 week wait until your order is shipped... They have sent me a partial order a few weeks ago ( after about a 11 week wait) with a statement saying that my order was too valuable to ship in one box... I have called several times and emailed many times without a response 90% of the time to find out when the rest of my order will ship... One time a customer service person named **** said he would "call shipping in the morning and find out when the rest of my order would be shipped... that was several weeks ago and I have heard nothing... it does no good to call customer service because it does not exist with this company...

    Ordered 20 Silver Eagle coins Dec. 2, 2024 and have not received them. They received the check for $738.35 Dec. 9, 2024. The check cleared my bank Dec. 10, 2024. Their website designates 5 to 8 weeks after the check clears to fill the order. Two weeks ago I called their customer service number. The representative said he had no access to the order records. He took down my information and said someone would respond. No one responded. Last week I sent an email to their service address. I got what appears to be an automated response, but nothing else. It has been long enough for them to fill this order. I want them to send the coins or issue a refund.

    I made an order with Gainesville Coins valued at $2,789.56. Gainesville Coins stated the items would be received 6-8 weeks after payment clearing. The payment cleared my bank on 12/24/2024. The items have yet to be shipped nearly 4 months after the sale. I have called the company multiple times. When you call, an answering service states someone will call you back. Over half the time, no one has returned my calls. When they return my call, the person on the phone does not know when the order is going to be shipped. As of 4/10/25, my online Gainesville Coins account still states, "Not Shipped Yet" for this order. I want immediate delivery of the items I purchased as agreed upon. I will seek legal counsel upon further delays.

    On February 17th 2025 I had an appointment with **** at Gainesville coins, in which I sold my silver coins to them.I was told and also have a receipt attached and documenting 30 days a check would be issued and sent to my residence in ********. 45 days later never receiving a check. Ive contacted **** through email and once on a phone call and was assured that the first check would be voided and another check would be reissued. I spoke with **** on April 3rd and he told me that the re-issued check was mailed on April 2nd. As of April 8th I have not received a check through my recent sale to Gainesville coins.

    Ordered two gold coins January 10, 2025. Was advised on the website, "...please allow 5-8 weeks for your items to ship", it has now been TEN weeks. When I called on March 11 to inquire, after waiting 8 weeks **** ***** was argumentative that it hadn't been eight weeks, and after convincing him to check his math he was rude and condescending about it. I will no longer do business with this fly-by-night outfit, doesn't stock what they sell & they have NO regard for loyal customers. I called today & someone named ******** said someone would call me back, that my matter would be marked "urgent". No one has called... surprise. I was a customer from 2014. No more. Refund amount includes $41.95 shipping & $10 wire fee.

    You have stated to me, "I'll be more than happy to send you prepaid return labels so you can return the four Gold Eagles you received." 

    I have responded to you, "Please send the prepaid labels for me to return the incorrect coins that were sent.".

    You also stated, "If your preference is for 2024s, I'll certainly do my best to source them for you.However, please note that our original 2024 allocation was cut short and has since been converted to 2025s, as the 2024 coins are no longer being minted. It may take a little time to locate additional 2024s, but I'm happy to pursue that route if you'd prefer.".
    However, I did not order random year, dull & subpar coins, I purchased at a premium 2024 Gold Eagles BU. I waited twice the 5 - 8 weeks that was stipulated at the time of my order & still have not received the 2024 Gold Eagles BU. If you are unable to produce/ship what I purchased at the time you receive the return coins I expect a full refund to include shipping and the wire transfer fee, totaling $11,604.00.

    I am rejecting this response because: This complaint will be outstanding unless 4 1oz 2024 BU coins are delivered as purchase, or 4 1oz 2025 BU coins as I have made concession. Once I receive the coins I will ship the 1988, 1991, 2005, & 2016 coins back to Gainesville Coins at their expense. I am absolutely concerned now about relinquishing control of any funds back to a company with a disastrous track record. I do not understand how Gainesville Coins is allowed to still operate and am concerned that if I relinquish possession of what I have received I risk to lose my entire investment. I do not trust, nor should anyone given Gainesville Coins' track record.
