I placed an order for delivery of precious metals including gold and silver on 11/4/******* date this has not been fulfilled and no evidence has been provided that a shipment is pending (no tracking number provided). I have called on multiple occasions and emailed as well. standard excuses provided for example " it normally takes us 8 weeks to deliver product, and due to vacations this time of year, weather, etc it has taken much longer, and to sit tight should be delivered in 7-10 days. The same excuse is provided on every occasion.I am told by other precious metal dealers they normally ship in 1-2 weeks and presently do not have trouble or difficulty fulfiling orders.Business Response

We spoke to this customer yesterday, we shipped part of his order on 2/13/25 he obviously got the tracking because he called us yesterday to say the tracking is not moving. So we are working with the post office to hopefully find his package.

I purchased gold and silver. Ordered late October 2024. Check cashed Nov 4 2024. Now that the value of gold is up, they cancelled my order 2/12/2025. They originally told me with the Holidays 6-8 weeks in an email. Website said 4-6 weeks. Over 3 months is ridiculous.Business Response

When the customer contacted us at the end of January to inquire about the status of his order or the possibility of a refund, our team responded with the estimated ship date as of that time. However, as we moved past that estimated date, we made the decision to issue a full refund rather than have the customer wait any longer for the order to ship.
Our decision to refund was based on his previous email where he asked for a status or a refund, and we wanted to ensure that the customer was not left waiting any longer. We apologize for any inconvenience and the customer is more than welcome to call our office to discuss other options if he so chooses.

We ordered silver coins from ********** Coins with the full payment on 9/12/24. We are a returning customer from 14 years ago. The website requires a click to acknowledge that there is a typical 5-8 week delay. It has been 18 weeks and no shipment. I have emailed twice and called four times. In early December I was told that it would be shipped the next week. I have been told a supervisor would call, but no call. I have been given flimsy excuses of holidays and ***** ******** death. I sent the first check on 10/24 and they got it 10/30 showing as cashed. They had a notice saying wait 4-5 weeks but it has been more than that. My shipping date is showing as not shipped as of yet. I have also sent the second and that is cashed too.Business Response

On 7/31/24, my wife and I wired Gainesville Coins $11,358.07 for an order of silver and gold coins. As of today, 12/4/24, we have not received our order. We did call twice, once in October and once in November to check on the status of the order. We were told that it would ship in a couple of weeks but it did not. We emailed the company this morning and received a standard reply email which contained no indication of the shipping date. It has been over 4 months and we feel we have no choice but to file a formal complaint with the BBB and if necessary, we will proceed with legal counsel to help resolve this matter.Business Response
