      Sean C*** from M.E. Flow was very professional and knowledgeble. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. He arrived promptly. He did an excellent job replacing my old water heater. I am extremely happy and very satisfied with my new product. Sean gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend him.

      I would not give them even 1 star - they are absolutely AWFUL!!
      They gave us a $1,500 price & supposedly ordered &then called next day we had to call them after not receiving a call back only to find out it was now going to be $15000…and a whole new furnace..They are a Rip Off!
      We found someone to fix it for less than their 1st estimate !

      Complete rip off, and they take advantage of the elderly!!! My 90 year old mother in law had a small leak in water heater. My wife called David Gray Plumbing for her to get an estimate, even though we had very clear photos of the water heater which was located just inside the garage door. They charged her $65 for an estimate. Yep just to turn their head to the right and peek in. It couldn't be in a easier place to get to. Three wires, on hot, one cold, and one pressure valve overflow pipes. Guess what the quoted her?... $1,200 labor!!! And that's with us buying the new water heater and having it sitting their in the garage waiting for them!!! We told them a BIG NO!!! I have done a few, so I picked up a new one from Home Depot, took it over there, and replaced it myself. It took me EXACTLY ONE HOUR!!! And I bet a professional plumber could do it much faster! I had less than $20 into the short piece of cpvc, two couplers, and two 3/4" adapter adapter fittings for the top of the tank. She is 90 years old, so I did it for free!!! So, just curious, what is David Gray's labor rate? $1,200 per hour??? I'm just disgusted at these thieves!!!

That is out of line and patently false. DG has been in business in Jax for 40 years and has a stellar reputation because of our commitment to our clients. Our rates are supported by the quality of our work, our service to the client, and our warranty. We compensate our team well and operate in a competitive environment.       I've had ME Flow for 13yrs and they replaced my furnace in 2015. I'm on the scheduled maintenance plan which was done today. Tech showed me igniter and recommended replacement. Charged $310 for part that I found costs less than $30 on Amazon. I could accept 100% mark up, $60, plus $104 service charge (even though he already had it removed to check it) which would have cost ~$165. But feeling a little ripped off as a long time customer being charged $310. Time to start looking for a new HVAC maintainer.

The technician should have provided up-front pricing and gained your acknowledgment before repairing. Like most HVAC companies, we don't sell parts; we sell a service. We use a flat rate pricing system to do so, and the service includes a warranty behind the work, a trained professional, and a stocked truck for repairs. We hope this explanation is helpful and you'll reconsider. We take great pride in serving our community and would never do anything to jeopardize that. We hope to see you again.
