    05/20/2024, my grandmother was quoted a total moving cost of $2400 and arrival of movers today between 1-4pm. Someone from "dispatch" called after 1pm on date of the agreed upon move and said the movers would not arrive on that date or time. She stated that she was guaranteed that date and time and expected services paid to be rendered. 3 men arrived after 6pm and stated they were with a moving company (ship for you) that was different than than 3 brothers moving but had been assigned by 3 brothers to complete the job. They then told my grandmother that she needed to pay $1100 in addition to the original quoted $2400 total moving cost and told her that they would not begin the job until my grandmother paid them immediately. They then began to threat and intimidate her into agreeing when she questioned the additinal cost. They were asked to leave the dwelling while my grandmother contacted 3 brothers moving ** for clarification until my mother arrived. They began arguing with and harassing her, interrupting her mid-sentence and talking over her. The representative on the phone was rude and disrespectful, placing my grandmother on hold in the middle of a sentence. When my grandmother asked for a refund, she was ignored, intimidated, and spoken to in a hostile manner with the representative on the phone raising her voice and talking over her. When my grandmother again asked for a refund, the representative hung up the phone without completing the refund or confirming that it had been completed. The representativethen proceeded to call my grandmothers phone multiple times, back to back to back.

    ******* with 3 Brothers said they would pack up everything that we discussed (he and I went through the pictures of house-on line, so he could see everything that needed to go.) The garage and tool rooms were not picture, so he and I went over them. There was so much (lots of tools laying around-they would need to box) in the garage/tool room, I sent him videos. I can show on my phone I sent them to him. We were on a recorded line as well. I wish I could get a copy of that recording, that right there would prove everything I am saying. We talked about the attic and I let him know there were several items in there as well, but I could not remember them all. If you see on the contract, there is a gator, lawn mower, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, and then about ******************** garage (not counting all the tools), plus about 30 plastic bins/totes. Lots of patio furniture to include a large swing. 2 Large Tool boxes with butcher block tops.On the day of the move, three guys show up in a budget 26ft rental truck (no 3 Brothers company truck-or movers) No way all of our items would fit in that truck. The driver of that truck said that I would need to go get boxes (which I was never told that-led to believe they would provide them), he also said that all of the items would not fit in the truck, he could get what he could loaded. Plus if he filled the 26ft truck, I would have to pay extra. He called 3 Brothers and someone named ****** with 3 Bros called me, he said if I filled that truck I would owe another $1000 dollars. I told him that was not happening, that truck would not even hold the garage items. We ended up using 4 U-Hauls (2-20ft/2-15ft), plus two trucks to move what was needed. I called *******, I thought we could talk about this, never answered the phone. Used different phone to call him, he answered and I asked him why this happened and he said hold on-then transferred me to customer service, who said leave a message. Lots more... :)

    The estimate you received is based on the information provided at the time of booking and during the ***************** call. After reviewing the inventory with the booking agent, you were sent the inventory list to confirm that everything was accurately listed.
    At pickup, there were numerous additional items and packing supplies not previously agreed upon. Please note that packing supplies are not included in the initial estimate. The carrier attempted to reach an agreement at the time of pickup.
    According to the contract, if services are canceled at the time of pickup, the deposit is nonrefundable.

    That agreement is correct, but the items listed would not fit in a 26ft truck.  Even the driver stated it would not all fit.  They did not try to work out a resolution, it was told to me that they would charge me more ($600 to $1000) if we used the entire 26ft truck, which would have used and then needed even more trucks.  The first company I called stated that this company would have issues, but again I thought that was in bad taste.  I sure wished I would have listened.  There is no way the items listed on the agreement would have fit in a 26ft truck and we had a deadline to be out.  They knew this and did not try to work out anything, other than saying this is what you agreed to and that is not what we agreed to.  I believe they owe me a total refund, but I know they are not going to do that, since they told me via phone they would not refund me anything, no matter what I did or said.  But they should give me back my money.  I have never dealt with a company like this and I will make certain I tell every person I know or see about this company.  I plan on calling back the other company that warned me about them, to tell them that anyone that calls them and says they will get other bids to contact me as a reference to let them know about 3 Brothers.  Because honestly they are so wrong with this agreement and they know it.  They honestly laughed when I called them the day of the move, said that they would fit whatever they could in the truck.  I asked them what about what was leftover and they said it was up to us to move that.  That is not what we agreed on, so not what we agreed on.  We walked through the entire house and they went by the pictures on the real estate website to view the individual rooms and we went room by room on that needed to be packed and taken.  Again, they are wrong in doing this.  But if we do not get any money back, I am certain karma will come back on them.  It's just not right.  Sorry, I know I sound somewhat bitter, but it was a horrible experience and then I had to pay again for my items to be moved.  Thank you for listening.  I know your hands are tied.  :)

    $850 from 3 Brothers (their fee to set up this truly awful move). First called 3 Brothers on February 12 and talked with their representative about a move from *****, Tx to Mt. ******, **. I told them that I needed enough space for a 15 ft moving truck. I received a quote of $2054, and signed the quote and scheduled our move for February 20th. However, what I was not aware of, was that the professional representative put the space as 400 cubic feet. In the list of items, the 15 ft truck is listed as my items. I, not being a moving professional, was unaware that a 15 ft truck would require over 700 cubic feet of space. On February 19th, I received a call from 3 Brothers. They said that since the items were not listed, they were following up on how much space I would need. I explained that I needed space for a ********************************* my items (on the signed contract) and this new representative stated that the cost would be $3900, but he would reduce it to $3600. I of course, was upset and shocked by the apparent bait and switch. Their sales representative somehow miscalculated how much space a 15 foot truck would require. The move was the next day and so we eventually settled on 550 cubic feet of space as our plans were already finalized and I needed to do the move that next day.3 Brothers sent Open Road Relocation to do the contracted move (I had no recourse on who they sent, I had to trust it was a reputable company). Open Road admittedly stole our Ps5, broke several pieces of furniture including dresser, lost our Dyson Vacuum, and pieces of our bed and damaged our marble table. I have been unsuccessful in getting any resolution except a $79 offer from movingclaims.net. No one will take responsibility for the damage, and I am out $2000 in replacing lost, stolen and damaged items.

    I booked a move with three brothers moving for early May and was quoted a move cost of 3995 roughly and paid 1890 down. Upon move day EJ Relocations showed up - not three brothers- and demanded an extra 5K for a total cost of 8895. I know at most the move should cost 5K maybe. But i had to move that day as my house was selling so i was forced to pay them more and still owe 3295 whenever i get my belongings, Now i look online and find that this scam is what three brothers does as their business. I want 2500 refunded or I will *** them and will contact every person who wrote a bad review about them (and there are thousands) and create a class action suit and put them out of business.

    During the ***************** process, we were informed that no changes were needed and that the inventory list matched. If any adjustments were made on-site, the driver is required to update the space reservation to ensure the charges accurately reflect the work to be performed. At the time of pickup, we were unaware of any additional charges until we received the complaint. If the customer was not comfortable with the revised estimate, they had the option to stick with the original space reservation or choose a different option that suited them better. However, it's important to note that we must charge for the actual work that is completed.

You had my furniture hostage and you were all very clear multiple times that I needed to shut up and pay to get anything i owned.     We were quoted just over $4000 on March 20th for a cross-country move. We alerted them that we had roughly 20 extra boxes on two separate occasions and were told that was no issue. On day of move, our cost jumped to $8300 because of the increased size. We also were told it would be 5-7 days for our stuff to arrive. We are currently seven days in and now were being told it will be a minimum of another 7-10 days before it even leaves for our house. We have evidence of their promise on time delivery.

    I looked for moving companies on ****** a few months ago, and "3 Brothers Moving" contacted me. They kept saying they were a moving company, but I have a suspicion that they are brokers. That was the first red flag! I gave them a rough idea of the amount of things I needed to move. They gave me a quote of $2,879.53 and to lock in the great price and move for that day, I need to pay them a deposit of $1,400. I made the mistake of sending them a picture of the check.(they asked for it) I contacted one of their sales representatives about a month ago with an updated list of items. I told him that I did not want any surprises on the day of the move. He said the list was fine and that I should not worry. Today I got an email from them asking me to please call them. 2 days before the move!!! I called and told him about the list I sent to his sales rep a month ago. We went over the list and they increased the price from $2,879 to $6,146.03!!! More than double what they quoted me initially.And on top of that, they wanted another deposit of $1,000 today. I told them I wanted to use another moving company since they were now too expensive and I was disappointed at the lack of communication and astronomical price increase. I wanted my $1400 deposit back and they refused to provide it to me!!! Now I have to find a new moving company and I have two days left to do so. Can you please help me get my money back($1400)? I do not wish this to happen to anyone else.

    The estimate that was received was based on the inventory of 76 items that were originally disclosed at the time of booking. When we did the quality assurance call, the inventory had jumped up to 132 pieces. We provide estimates based on the space, and with the additional items being added, the space reservation would need to be increased. As per the contract, the deposit is nonrefundable after 72 hours of signing the bill of lading.

    I am rejecting this response because, a few weeks before the move I called to make sure they received the new/updated list that had more items and they said it was ok, that the quote/price was not going to increase. I made sure they knew I had more items and was very clear about it. They confirmed they had looked at the list. When I called the day before the move, they decided that they wanted to charge me $3k more than what we had agreed in the contract. Also, they wanted an additional deposit of $1,500. that day. Right away, I called another mover and used them instead. They should pay me back the deposit, since they did not do any work for me at all. In their response to you, they said the deposit was not refundable and that was in the contract. Where? I did not see it and they did not communicate it to me before signing the contract.!!! If it was there, it must of been at 5 point type. Impossible to read.

     These people are thieves and crooks!!!! They should not be in business. They stole $$$$ from me.

    Your estimate is almost solely based on the amount of space. Why would they ask for an inventory to record the amount of space for it to later in the process for the space not to matter?

    I am rejecting this response because they took my deposit of $1,400 without doing any work at all. I know I signed the contract, but the legal copy was buried and they were not clear about the deposit being non refundable when I signed. They took advantage of me and my honesty. Crocks that should be out of business. They had a final list weeks before the date they were supposed to move my things and they decided to call me a day before the move to tell me the price had gone up more than $3,000. They should of told me about the increase when I sent the final list and not a day before the move. I had to scramble and find another moving company that same day. Luckily I was able to, but I ended up losing my deposit with them. Just terrible management and customer service!!!! Again, I want to make clear, they should of told me about the price increase when I send my "final list" of items (about two weeks before the move) and not ONE DAY prior to the move.

    I needed my things moved from ** to **. I found what I thought was a reputable company. I called them. Talked to them for several minutes. Estimated a quote and then I put down a down payment of $675. Honestly it seemed like a great deal at the time. My mother used her her card information and I was all set. I had a laps in judgment and didn't look into the company. When I did I was in shock and horrified at the reviews from SO SO many others, they had the same situation. Fast talking, Great deals but it was all too good to be true. I started looking into the reviews where they said that they never were able to get the refunds back and I started to get worried. I immediately emailed the company telling them that I wish to cancel. I do not need them to keep me on the schedule for any reason and I proceeded to ask that they start the cancellation process for the services that I just requested. That was October 25th 2023. I called many many times and was given the runaround. Nobody ever called me back to help resolve the situation and my mother is still out $675. I was even told that with the new year coming around that refund checks will be pushed out but that wasn't the case either.

I only reject this due to it never works. I was once again told that some from their billing department will contact me. It never happens.     I am adding screenshots I have found. They HAVE been scamming people, Lots of people. I have more screenshots but unable to load them. If I can't keep my case open I want to help you see that they are not a good company and are acting under false pretenses and breaking contracts. I understand mistakes and mailing problems are made and happen ,but to confirm you understand I am requesting a refund and then deliberately not call the me back and not mail my refund to me when NONE of there services were used, is infact scamming and it needs to end.

    The local carrier has informed us that they received text messages from the customer stating their intent to cancel the move. Please note that if a move is canceled after the 72-hour window or on the day of the move, the deposit is not eligible for a refund.

    I looked online for reviews of reputable long distance movers, and found a website that recommended this one, so I called for a quote on hiring movers, and ************************* answered and asked a few questions, went over an inventory of my belongings, and then told me he would be sending his 5 best guys, and gave me a good price, basically told me any lie that would make me sign the contract and get my deposit money. Later that day, I got an email asking for another signature and *** called me back to make sure I got it and told me to sign it right away. I didn't think anything of it at the time, but when my husband asked me later how I had found the company, I searched for them online again and found all the non-sponsored reviews telling horror stories about them and their practice of subcontracting the worst, no-name companies in the country to actually perform the move - a far cry from ***'s five best guys that I'd been promised. I called back to cancel my move with them. I thought I was done, but they had *** personally call me back and he harassed me so badly that my husband had to get on the phone to yell at him to cancel the move and leave us alone which they finally agreed to do and said they would refund the deposit. It has been 35 days and I've still not received the refund.

If they wanted to send a check they would have done so already. They have my address.     I booked the company 3 brother *********************************************** after the employee ************************* said they are licensed and bonded through all 50 states. I provided a very detailed list and measurements of ALL large furniture *********** packed boxes I needed moved from ********, Az to **************, Az which is approx a 21 mile move. *************** emailed me a moving estimate (which I still have) which clearly shows every item ************************ discussed the company would move. When his movers arrived two Men who hardly spoke English arrived in an unmarked white 20ft truck, they said they were hired as a contractor from 3 brother moving. They asked us to confirm the items they are moving and than said they are not taking half of what *************** and I were contracted to be moved. They demanded more money ontop of what was already paid during the initial conversation with ***************. While I was talking to one man the other had already loaded items before I gave permission for them too. When I tried to say I am not paying more than what was discussed these men said they will take what they have loaded as coladeral than. What the hell! THIS company is fraudulent and a scam. I had to rent two 26ft uhauls and pays for help to move everything they REFUSED to take from the initial agreement unless I paid an additional $300 per item they wanted me to take. ROBBERY!! The company damaged the items they did take and their insurance refuses to correct the issue. I want refunded for the cost of the uhauls and labor hours which total an additional $1000 I had to pay extra for for the false advertisement and breach of contract this company has.
