    I was moving about 120 miles, up a curved highway. I had contacted a local company and was given $1,800.00. Later the price went up to over $4,000.00. So I found Three Brothers Moving on the internet. I call, talked with a man named *********, and told him what was taking place, and told him about the last experience. He asked me if he could get it around $1,800.00, could I do it, I told him yes. I asked about a military discount and he said yes. He asked about what all was being moved, I told him, and also sent pictures. I also told him again about the highway, and he said itd be okay, so I asked if he could get there early, and he said yes. So the date was set. No one got there until 8-9:00 pm. There was four guys, and when they came in, they laughed about all the boxes and stuff. They went running around the house like crazy, talking and taking pictures. When Id tried to find out what was going on, the little that I could under, was, no English! Ended up the one, made a call and then I was told the move would be much, much higher and they would only move 13 pieces, then pointed out about a7-8 space. They called and talked to some woman and she said shed call next morning after talking to Three Brothers and told me to call. The guys left, but the woman said Id have to pay for them to stay in town, I told her I would not. I called several times the next morning, but only got voice mail, and left messages. No call was returned from anyone. So far no one will give me my $600.00+ money that was taken off my debit card. *** had several emails, last one assuring me Id get my money back, which was supposed to be back on my card by the March 28, 2024. It was not. I emailed again, no one would ever answer my calls. I want my money back. I got no service, only lies, misinformation, etc. I am 74 years old, I cant give my money away. When I lost my husband, I lost 95% of my income. Please help me get my money back. have emails if you need them Thank you ***********************

    According to the information provided to the booking agent, the reservation was for 400 cubic feet, approximately a quarter of a box truck's capacity. However, upon the drivers' arrival, the revised estimate expanded to 3000 cubic feet, nearly the capacity of an entire semi-truck. The last entry in the file indicates that you intended to contact ***************** to review and finalize the inventory of items for a more accurate assessment.
    It's important to note that according to the signed contract, refusal of services at the time of pickup renders the deposit non-refundable, as our team attempted to render the services as agreed upon.

    The things that are on their  list, are mostly wrong. I named off everything, even sent pictures , 3 TV, two 32, one was 70, 6 book shelves, large BBQ grill with grill table, 2 recliners, 1 couch, 1 loveseat, 3 chest of drawers, 1 roll top desk, 2 dressers, garden tools, *****, shovels, hoes,post hold digger,garden rake, limb cutter, etc, wicker chest, 2 mattresses, 1 king, 2 full size, 3 bed frames, 2 rockers, DID NOT HAVE A SMALL DESK, 5 piece patio set,1 side by side, refrigerator, large dining table with 4 regular chairs and two arm table, two commercial size toolboxes, 1 deep freeze, tools, saws, power tools, etc, etc, 8 end tables, and a lot of boxes, upright safe, small grandfather clock, riding lawnmower, 3 china hutches, my daddys organ2 sewing machines. 
       I DID NOT cancel anything. The person they called said my move was going to be much higher, than what I was told from *********. I argued with the person the price move was $1,800.00. She said shed keep the guys until next morning, and  Told me to call Three Brothers next morning. I did, and she would too. I kept getting voicemails, and me leaving messages. No one never called me back, nor show back up. They are keeping my government money, that I have to help live on, and ********* said hed have it back on my card by the 27/28 of March.     I am rejecting this response because: they actually stole my money, GOVERNMENT MONEY, which is totally against the law. They took advantage of this 74 year old, lied to me, and to you, and my realtor. I was told they would sent a 26 truck, they did, BUT, they stopped somewhere before making their entrance to my home after 8:pm. The four guys that came in, could not even talk English, I tried talking to them and I kept No English!!!! I have requested a copy of the conversation I had with *********************************, but no one will release it  they know what they have done, and are STOLE my money!!! How many more OLD PEOPLE they are going to do this to??? I want my money, I told Christian everything I had to move, just like the list I sent to you  I NEVER canceled anything  they are the ones that left that very night, an$ I neve4 heard from them again  I was promised by *********, I would have my money back

    We regret to inform you that we are unable to provide a full refund of the deposit, as outlined in the signed contract. When our drivers arrived, they encountered a significantly larger inventory than initially described, which impacted our ability to adjust the service accordingly.
    Additionally, according to our records, the deposit paid was $600, not the $1,800 you have mentioned. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we are willing to offer a refund of $75. This amount represents the remaining funds after accounting for the expenses already incurred for the move.

    I just wanted to say that I appreciate all you have done. I know your hands are tied and I understand that. I just wish there was some kind of law against what they have done to me, and hopefully, no one else. Needs to be stricter laws on companies like this. But I DO appreciate your support and help.

    I contracted 3 brothers moving and storage to move my belongings from ******** to ******** the pickup destination, the movers doubled my quote, but i still paid for the move.At the drop off destination, the movers asked for extra money before unloading. Held my belongings hostage.Then I realized half of my belongings are missing.I decided to not signature off on the "Bill of ladding" untill they deliver my goods to me.Next, when i started opening my boxes that were packaged myself. I realized the stuff is missing from my boxes.They claimed to possess my belongings in a warehouse and deliver it to me in a week, but now I cannot reach them.I believe they have stolen my belongings as well as donot intend to return rest of my belongings,I want my goods returned to me.

Bill of Lading #******* signed on 3/12/2024 for a one room move for a total of $1,592.02 and provided by *******************, ************. ******* stated that ** would call me from QA 5 days prior to the pick up date (no call received) and that customer service would call me to confirm the day before (3/28/2024 and no call received) On the date of pickup 3/29/2024, no one called to confirm the pickup time. Got through to **************** in the morning of 3/29 and told would be there between 12-4, waited all day and no movers, no calls, no nothing. Called more than 13 times, waited on hold with Cust Serv for 35 minutes and were hung up on. We called the main line and started to explain the situation and got hung up on. Many many terrible reviews on TrustPilot of similar incidence happening. Will be engaging a lawyer to try to get my deposit back from this dubious business. ******* called me at 9:15pm MT AFTER we sent a note to cancel the move because we can not trust that they will actually arrive for pick up nor deliver all the belongings, nor that belongings will arrive as scheduled and provided on the bill of lading by April 1, 2024, once I told him engaging legal he also hung up on me. I am instead getting a U-Haul and doing it myself as there is no time left as starting a new job as was explained to the claim to be ex-marine, ***********************************. Will be engaging legal to submit a Demand Letter as they did not follow up on their obligations nor try to resolve the situation.

    On January 4, 2024, I spoke with *************************** of 3 Brothers Moving & Storage regarding a small move from ********, ** to *************, **. ***** asked me to provide an inventory, which he estimated to be 300 cubic feet, and he quoted a reasonable price of $1,875. I sent a $875 deposit.I was not informed by ***** that 3 Brothers is a broker and that a subcontractor would be moving my husband from NM to CA. When the subcontractor, Streamline Moving and Shipping, showed up, my husband was told that his inventory was actually 400 cubic feet and he would have to pay an additional $690 a bait-and-switch scam apparently common to moving brokers, based on BBB complaints I have been dismayed to read. Upon delivery, we reluctantly paid Streamline the additional $690 in order to get our items delivered, but we would like a refund of the extorted funds. Two sets of plastic shelves valued at $360 were destroyed by Streamline. I submitted a damage complaint to Streamline and have not received a response as of this date.

    It is noted in the file that a visual estimate was declined at the time of booking. When booking, if we do not receive a full and accurate list of items to be moved, it can cause a variance in the space required within the truck, resulting in additional charges at the time of pickup. If additional space or services are required at the time of pickup, a revised estimate must be presented to the customer to account for these additional charges. All paperwork clearly states that we are a broker, and at the time of booking, you receive a Bill of Lading containing the information of the local carrier facilitating the move. Regarding the claims process, there is a timeline that the claim processor must follow as per FMCSA guidelines, and this is not within the control of 3 Brothers Moving & Storage.

    I am rejecting this response because I was NOT offered a visual estimate, despite some note 3 Brothers says they put in my file saying that I declined it. Nonetheless, I did provide the **** ***************************, a full and accurate list of items to be moved, and he came up with an estimate immediately, on the spot. In the end, my husband decided to transport several of his items in his car, so the size of the load was actually less than I described to *****. Naturally, we were surprised and dismayed when my husband was told on move day that he had to pay more on the spot. Yes, he did receive a hastily scribbled revised estimate AFTER the movers loaded his items into their truck - but what was he supposed to do? Tell them to take his possessions back out of their truck and then send them away? He was starting a new job and needed to get to ********** on time - so he paid. 

    ***** was very accommodating and pleasant, pushing me to sign the contract (which is probably why I missed the part about them being a broker - could he have not told me this up front?) But once I did sign and send money, he disappeared and never accepted my phone calls again, despite offering to answer my questions any time.

    Based on so many like complaints I have read, I feel that under-bidding is a common extortion practice in the industry, and very unfair to the consumer who is typically on a tight timeline and has to get moving. 3 Brothers should be held accountable, and I still want our money back for the so-called overage.

    I am rejecting this response because, while it may be in the contract, I do not recall being offered a visual inspection when talking to *****, nor was it even possible to arrange one due to the moving person's work schedule. I trusted ***** because he was knowledgeable, helpful and encouraging and the estimate he offered based on my inventory was immediate and definitive. Furthermore, what was actually moved ended up being even less than what was listed.

    The subcontracted delivery company's driver told me that underquoting, then charging more on the back end, is a common practice in the industry. That ***** never took my phone calls or returned my messages after I had paid the underquoted amount suggests that he did not want to be confronted for underquoting me, and didn't want to admit it or make it right. If he were honest, he would have taken my calls or responded in some way.

    I was told by the 3 Brothers Moving and storage that the cost would be $9,315.25 when the moving company United speed ********** showed up he said the cost is $13,415.50 I was in a desperate situation so I paid it

    I was promised by 3 Brothers Moving that we would be receiving a 26'truck that the price is for filling it 100%. When they finished loading the boxes the truck wasn't even half full so I thought there's plenty of room. The driver said not enough room I have to get another truck. Another truck showed up a 21' tru k the bigger tru k backed up to the smaller one and they proceeded to take the stuff and transfer it to the smaller truck.When they filled it up I still had stuff left to load and I asked the guy if they were going to load the remaing items on his truck and he said no. Now the estimate $9,500.00from 3 Brothers was for a 26' truck loaded from top to bottom completely full. The driver originally told me he would have to get another to much stuff and raised my pri e ***** more for the two trucks The big truck left out of here completely empty.

    On March 8, 2024, I signed an estimate and authorized an ACH deposit for my upcoming move. I was told on the phone and have in writing that I can cancel within 72-hours to receive 100% of my deposit back. I cancelled within 48-hours thus meeting this threshold. I received an email from customer service stating, "Your account was sent over to our billing department the the (sic) refund will be issued. Once the refund has been processed you will receive a (sic) email of the refund receipt. Please allow 2-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account per banking institution." That email was sent to me on March 12, 2024. I'm still waiting. I emailed customer service asking for an update to which no reply was given. I called customer service and was told they still haven't processed my deposit and have no idea when they will. They took my money immediately but won't immediately give me my refund. I had to pay another company a deposit and will have to pay the remaining balance upon my move, but waiting for this company to refund me my money is making things financially tight for me. I need my money back. I followed their rules and gave them the notice they require, now they need to hold up their end of the bargain and refund my money.

    3 Brothers Moving provided a BINDING estimate to my sister to move our deceased Grandmothers heirlooms from ** to **. They subcontracted the work without informing us who the contractor was, and the contractor started loading items into the truck. Once half of the items were loaded he informed my Aunt on site that it would be double the original estimate and that the full amount needed to be paid now to make the delivery. Then he said that 60% would need to be paid for the items to be delivered and not held in warehouse (essentially blackmail). This goes against the rules of the original BINDING estimate with 3 Brothers Moving. In addition, my sister called the original sales rep who said that this is normal business and that the company is the one they subcontracted to. Later she called back and he did not answer or return her calls knowing there were major issues with the professionalism of the subcontractor and job at hand. I also tried to speak with another sales rep who answered the phone at customer service who said (*******) that it was our fault that we did not give an accurate account t of the items being moved. These are standard items and a list was given to them if 70 items which they quoted 717 cubic feet. If the person doing the estimate is incompetent, theyre either lacking training, common sense, or are in the wrong profession. It is up to the business to have clear communication with the customer so that a subcontractor isnt doing business in a way that appears shady. The customer service rep that my sister spoke to said they were not aware of issues with Master Moving or Bison Relocation, but according to BBB they have a F rating, which seems to me that 3 Brothers Moving has failed to do their due diligence for the customer.

    The document itself says Binding Estimate at the top which is either misleading on your part or incompetence. Thank God my sister took a picture of the estimate as the link you provided no longer brings up the document. When calling your **************** line (which is apparently only sales reps who dont pickup the phone when a customer has an issue or hangs up on them, and theres apparently no supervisor available to hand the phone off to) it shows it is a recorded call. *** should be able to listen to ****************** telling my sister that these 70 items could fit on a 26 foot truck, but then he only quotes her for 717 cb ft of space. This is not the space of a 26 foot truck and shows incompetence or a lack of training for a sales rep. *** should also hear on the recording that ****************** told my sister the estimate included packing supplies, which apparently was a lie. Insinuating that the ******************************** detailed enough is a farce and unprofessional for ******* at customer service to do over the phone and for you to do in your response. In addition, we were supposed to have our items delivered to two locations which was not conveyed to the delivery team. At that point, we had such a poor experience with your carrier that you chose in Master Moving that we decided against it to ensure we received our deceased Grandmothers items.

    Good customer service requires transparency, clear communication, and honesty. We lacked all of this with you and the carrier you chose to use who has a F rating on BBB. All of these you have still chosen not to address in your response which seems par for the course for your business.

This estimate had over SEVENTY items listed, and the unprofessional staff member who prepared the estimate obviously doesnt know the square footage of a moving truck. My sister was also told it would all fit on one truck, which it did. How do you plan to correct the incompetence of your workers? What is being done about your unprofessional third party carrier? You chose to continue to fail to answer these questions as its obvious you will continue to run a shady business. SHAME ON YOU!

    The estimate we from the booking calls was 70 pieces if there are additional items at the time of pick up the driver must adjust the price to reflect the actual space being used. A binding not to exceed estimate only covers the space and additional services such as packing on the estimate. Anything above that is an additional price.

    ****** **** ********* contracted to have her furniture and belongings shipped from **************,**** to ********** ** on 11/18/23 Originally they delt with ****, the next time they talked to the Company it was ****** who said **** no longer worked there and his # **********.They were never advised that a 3rd party company was being used, but then a man showed up at the apartment with a u-haul for the pickup. The 3rd party contact was Summer ************* December 24th a man in ************ called saying he had some of my boxes. He identified them when he opened them and in them was contact information for ****** **** *********.The original time estimate to get her belongings was 5-7 day then turned into 3-4 weeks.On Dec 13 Summer called to say the delivery was 2 hours away ( this was the first notification.) at the time I was in ******* for training for my new job. They said they had contacted ***** by text, who is my aunt. The text did not identify who they were.****** advised several times that she was the customer and ***** was her aunt trying to help.****** asked the company to honor the 30 day hold with Summer. ****** said she would talk to her manger and call back. No call back was received.****** and ***** have spent numerous calls on 3 way trying to get this resolved with no avail.We dont know where the belongings are or how to get the boxes from ************.Please contact ****** **** ********* at ********** or her Aunt ***** at ********** so we can get this resolved.ASAP.

CUSTOMER MUST PURSUE THE CARRIER FOR ALL CLAIMS FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE AND PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, LOST OR STOLEN GOODS, DELAYED PICKUP OR DELIVERY, ACTIONS OF ESTIMATORS, DRIVERS, PACKERS OR MOVERS, OR OTHER TYPES OF CLAIMS. 3 BROTHERS MOVING & STORAGE LLC WILL ACT ON BEHALF OF THE CUSTOMER IN RESOLVING ANY CLAIMS OR DELAY ISSUES WITH THE CARRIER. THE CARRIER MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF THE FOLLOWING: (A) THE AMOUNT OF THE ACTUAL LOSS OR DAMAGE, (B) AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO SIXTY CENTS (60 CENTS) PER POUND MULTIPLIED BY THE ACTUAL WEIGHT (IN POUNDS) OF THE LOST OR DAMAGED ARTICLE; OR (C) THE LUMP SUM DECLARED VALUE.

ANY TIME FRAMES GIVEN FOR PICK UP AND/OR DELIVERY ARE ESTIMATED TIMES OF ARRIVAL ONLY AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. 3 BROTHERS MOVING & STORAGE LLC WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGES INCURRED BY UNAVOIDABLE DELAY. 3 BROTHERS MOVING & STORAGE LLC WILL ACT ON THE BEHALF OF THE CUSTOMER IN RESOLVING ANY CLAIMS OR DELAY ISSUES WITH THE CARRIER.
